70,000 AED is cheap for a 1 bedroom now in JVC. The luxury developers like Ellington or Iman prices are about 90-100K now. For the marina the demographics have changed massively in the last 2.5 years, I lived in JBR and my building was almost entirely British, when I left last year it was almost entirely Russian.
It’s worth noting that my apartment is right by a mosque… I mean less than 100 feet from a mosque and I barely feel the athan. I don’t even wake up to the sunrise athan and I’m a very light sleeper. I have a hunch that they tone the volume down when it’s right by residential buildings
We want to move to dubai and rent an apartment for the first year before we buy anything to get to know the areas etc but we really dont know where we were thinking of jvc (we are a young couple with a toddler and muslim) we want to rent cheap for that year at least. The main thing is we want to be able to walk around and especially for our son to be able to run around and play. We have been in jvc but the parks were a bit ‘eh’. Does anyone have any recommendations to were to live ??? We really are stuck at this point
Just wondering if you could also advise on the best places/areas to stay as a tourist visiting Dubai which are not too expensive but still in a good location to be able to travel around easily. I’m looking to visit next year but don’t know what areas to look at or to avoid without it being super expensive! Thanks ☺️
Keep the content up 👍🏼👏🏽 Question my work will be in the trade centre where would be a somewhat half way house location? Is JVC too far , id be in 3 days a week .. fellow londonder here
Thank you for sharing so much information on this! What are your thoughts on people who say that Dubai is very superficial to live in, and its just filled mostly with either super rich people or posers? And also that that there isn’t much culture or community compared to other cities or countries? Thank you!
Hi! Thank you for the valuable content. We are thinking about moving to Dubai next year. It is difficult to find a trustworthy agent. Would you be able to share the contact of the agent who helped you find your apartment?

Hope your eyes are ok!! X
Thanks Mabel!
You’re welcome 🤗

If you don't renew which area will you look at next?
Good question I'm not sure! My friends are moving to azizi riviera so maybe there

Nah it'll be fine!
Interesting! Wasn't the case when I was in marina but hopefully different now

Nice to see some former co-workers on youtube.

Great video! I'm considering Binghatti Corner as it's near E311. Would this help with traffic for a commute to Dubai Hills? Thanks.
There is Binghatti Heights also it's also good
