Good video…a topic that hasn’t really been covered yet (at least I haven’t seen it). I was ten when Bonanza first came out and, as I look back, watching these four men definitely set the bar high for what I envisioned to be a ‘good man’. My friends have always teased me that a cowboy was my fantasy ideal. And it wasn’t the John Wayne type I had in mind, but always the Cartwrights. As I watch Bonanza again in my 70’s, I appreciate even more what good men they were.
I was ten when I first started watching the show too, only it had been over for a long time by that point so I get teased a lot for liking such an old show. But you're so right, they set the bar.
