Nice! It seems like it would have been a nice laptop, if mine wasn't so trashed. Oh well, sometimes you're just too late for a rescue. Glad you got a good one! LGR found a similar vintage laptop with a working battery; extremely rare for sure being that old!
I have an earlier ultra 433, try FN+F3 and press X and then press enter twice. if it beeps once during post, press f1, it is most likely complaining that it hasn't been able to seek the floppy drive. after that try FN+f4 again to switch to external display. If that doesn't work, parts for these are hard to find, ebay it, but I paid around 43£ for mine at the time of writing, and I got the PSU, it was tested to post, and works quite well, though the FDD needs a new belt and the battery is dead.
That's a very good point about parts being hard to find. The LCD is destroyed on so many levels, but the other components potentially could be salvageable. Maybe the lack of POST had something to do with the keyboard being disconnected; maybe that's why it only POSTed the first time and then never again.
I have this one in working condition, with additional CD-ROM docking station. Great machine, and even battery (after almost 30 years!) still works

Thank you very much, I wanted to open the laptop(still works) to check the status of capacitors. Your video has helped me a lot.
