    Haven't actually noticed that you guys have bull bars on your trucks, a bit like ours Down Under. Not sure that the white trucks bar would last long down here with those vertical bars but the green truck has a real Aussie bull bar on it. It just needs some driving lights, or "spotties" as we call them, to cut through the dark and she'd look like a proper Aussie KW, well except for that pusher axle or whatever it is but you get the idea. Also, your daytime temps at -13°F is colder than any overnight minimum ever recorded in the whole of Australia. It gets cold here in winter, especially along The Great Divide, but not like you guys get. The coldest it's ever got where I live in northern New South Wales at 1000mts a.s.l. (3400 feet) is about 10°F. Keep the videos coming guys, they're really good.

    We have been getting alot of below 0 temps but don't last long like back in the 80's we would have -30 for over a month and when it got above 0 it was like sweatshirt weather. How are you doing in moisture this winter,we are 8 inches plus behind. We got around 8 inches of snow 10 days ago and the snow we got earlier was all melted so we had a brown Christmas. How come elevators only pay on protein on wheat up to 16, if you have protein that tests 18 you don't get more money why is that ? High protein would make great something or other cereal or feed supplement ? Here in Nw Iowa if you would haul in high test weight corn they would make you dump it in feedmill.

    Not sure if you have ever looking into it but highly recommend putting proheat’s or wabestco heaters on your trucks and tractors and highly recommend putting a constant power or bypass switch in so if you want you can leave them run all night! My boss has done this to all our truck and we are in east central Alberta, the one thing I recommend everyone do, I know guys that run them all summer long keeps the heaters in good working shape and never start the motor with a cold or cool block

    We're running into the ABS Valve bodies freezing up because of line moisture. I've only seen 1 system that can fix that and it was basically like your air compressor in the shop, not only the pump would purge but the tanks purged also every minute or 2. Driest air system on a truck around, but it was super spendy.

    I see you have Surco Electric Tarp and Traps , do have remote for them ? I do and prefer to use the remote over hard buttons. Also see grain dumping out the back end of trailer, is that a third hopper? Never seen that before.

    • @FastAgMontana
      @FastAgMontana  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes we have the remotes. It’s quicker to push the button once when we walk past for the tarps. The elevator has guys dump the trucks so they do it there.
      The third hopper is awesome for light crops like canola.

    • @alanmcgregor4909
      @alanmcgregor4909 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      At our Ethanol Plant there is no one at the pit so when I pull over the pit actually I have two Remotes. First remote push Express open, then Second remote For back hopper push Express open in rear mirror watch when grain stops close hoppers often never get out of the truck.

      @@FastAgMontana That is similar to my three axle truck ( that lift axle just isn't a common thing in Alberta ) and tridem aluminum two hopper trailer, full fuel is around 35000. Good question why my Pete and Lode King two hopper trailer would weigh the same, its got the smallish flat top bunk, but has 24.5 rubber and the extra thick wall HP 46000 axle housings which are obviously not weight saving items, all aluminum wheels though. At least with winter road weights its legal for close to 105000
