Happy 50th, I'm 76 and mom of a 56 year old daughter and a 53 year old son but live alone with my cat and feel free as a bird. I work out daily and after having lost 70+ pounds I no longer suffer from high blood pressure or being pre diabetic. Life is what you make it - be happy, time is running👍

Lots of rain yes, but we will soon be going into hot weather in Wales. Beautiful scenery where you are. It would be lovely to see your garden full of summer bulbs too

50 years young, my next birthday is my 85th. The blue bowl has what’s know as a Willow pattern, we have two dinner plates with this pattern which we use daily. It’s must be like having birthday every week in your home, with all the presents you receive. In this part of Essex all the daffodils have finished flowering already, a lot of them were blind.

What a lovely surprise to see you this morning sean made my day .As for the weather its exactly the same in Cornwall i have never known it so bad.I went to my allotment yesterday for the first time in ages and got absolutely soaked even though it was bright sunshine it was lashing it down. It's typical Hednesford weather here Sean...cold, torrential downpours one minute, blue skies & sunshine the next. I'm from a big city & moved to a smaller town over 10 years ago. I'd rather look out the window & see green trees & hills when it's raining than a dirty noisy city. I think this erratic weather is happening all over the UK atm. Can't wait for the new allotment footage, it will help to fill the void of not having one anymore 😊

I'm in Sussex and the rain has been on and off since October. Mainly on. So no better here than in Wales.
I live in Somerset and I'm nearly going mad with this weather. My garden is a swamp I'm desperate to get out there.
Same in the Midlands, endless rain. The recent hail made a nice change 😊

Missed you…glad you are back. That will be wonderful having your fruit trees n your new allotment. Perfect. Here in the Vancouver area I heard that there is a five year wait for an allotment and there are so many on the wait list that they stopped taking names. Sad- no land available for more plots. We are going to have a sunshine Easter weekend. What a lovely surprise. Lots of gardening to do and indoor planting of veg seeds. Happy Easter Sean. Have a restful weekend.

Watch candles in tins as they get hot and can melt what’s underneath, I have a string of fairy lights in my same cupboard, they plug into my timer and they look pretty

I have a bureaux like yours and it was a bit dark, so I lined it with light colored wallpaper, I stapled it in. Did the job really well and you can see everything in there now

A Hint.. when you get a smaller screwdriver place a rubber band over the end as this makes a better grip on the small screw. Hope this helps. 🙏

IMHO, as scented candles are in there, best not to put food items, maybe another wax or wax based item, like dubbing or furniture polish etc. They are very pretty tins.
Tin won't absorb smells and will be fine after thoroughly washed.

Make sure the movement sensor lights are not the that switch off after five seconds, made a mistake with my 1st buy, very frustrating having to wave your arms around to see again.. LOL.. Ooh don’t let my friend see your Royal Albert, she collects it!! Those candle tins are beautiful and so is the box. What lovely gifts Sean. I have seen those movement activated lights down the sides of stair treads, saves the lights, but be careful on stairs when it’s too dark, it can be dangerous.
We have little movement activated lights on our stairs & some in the living room by the skirting board so you can move around without the big light on to get to the stairs, if you're up in the night no need to wake the whole house with lights blazing everywhere.

Teaspoons! Same here, we had 12 too - got 4 left in the drawer the others nowhere to be found! I reckon they are with all the odd socks left over from the washing machine! Also sick of the rain but have woken up to sunshine today, so far so good!

Agreed. Make the best toast and grilled cheese or even croutons. I put the ingredients together before bed then in the morning I pinch it down, let it rise in a basket lined with a thin cloth like tea towel sprinkled with flour and bake. Takes 5 mins before bed to mix everything. Adding 3/4 cup of parm cheese, I Tbs Italian seasoning and 1 tsp garlic powder to the flour in with the first rise for a loaf makes it a special treat too! 😋
Put new tea light candles in them. The extra metal casing will stop scorching window cill paintwork. You can buy a hundred for a few pounds. That'll keep your bathtimes lit.

I once purchased what I thought was a 6 pack of paper towels and it ended up being 6 packs of 6. LOL The box was SO FREAKING BIG

I have motion sensor lights all the way upstairs . I never have to put the hall or top landing light on. I also have a motion sensor light in the toilet for the middle of the night... and a motion sensor strip light in the kitchen. I use full lights when cooking for safety , but I pop into the kitchen several times during the evening and the USB magnetic motion sensor lights are very suitable for those quick trips. It's reduced my electricity bill since last winter by 50 %
Rhubarb is funny ...we had a beautiful one in our first garden and when we moved we took it with us . In our new garden it never thrived . We changed places several times, nothing worked . We loved rhubarb pies but I could only make one pie whereas before I made plenty and even made jam .

It’s like Christmas Day everyday in your house 😂 🎁 I’m very interested in your low carb/high protein/ high fibre diet, good luck with it & don’t forget to have the odd treat, don’t make it too rigid that it’s too hard to stick too. There are lots of cake recipes online to use your coconut flour🍰Is popcorn low carb? I had no idea about that, what a great little gadget that is.

Popcorn, my research says it's OK but other websites say no. My thinking is, a handful of popcorn is better than a handful of cake or chocolate.

Your home is coming together beautifully! That pockettool we call Letherman in the US my hubby carries his everywhere. If it is a leatherman they will fix it if it breaks (so save the package). Some of them come with very small screwdriver ends to fix small things like your glasses. Ally spoons disapeared over a month and they were in my daughters room in a cup. I guess she was collecting them. 😅 it's so much to see what is growing in a new garden! Air-pop is a great snack. Good luck with your diet change. If you can give up the sugar with all your walks weight will just melt off you. Have an awesome weekend.😊
I'm so pleased to see you back again. I'm glad that you got rested up and used the time to plan your new diet, too. Would definitely be interested to hear about your new diet plan. I enjoy my food. I don't drink alcohol or smoke but do like to eat well. I've always had a problem keeping my weight in the normal range as I've got older.

I've spent my morning ordering plug plants from a gardening catalogue. It was hard to limit myself and could easily have ordered more.

A good way to cleanse the liver and also ease the pain, is a teaspoon of Briggs Apple Cider Vinegar in a glass of water every day. I take it first thing in the morning. Please think about giving it a try. Good health to you.
