I agree. There is nothing worse than going into an untidy kitchen with a sink full of dirty dishes. This sight is enough to depress anyone. So always clean up after every meal except perhaps if you have a small amount of dishes after lunch. These can be left over to the main meal at night.
I think buy little and buy often. It makes sense due to your smaller refrigerator & freezer space. I noticed you breaking off asparagus ends. I'm a clock person! Not an expert and certainly not a smith but I have bought, sold, and handled a number of clocks (and I've still got the odd dozen or so in my house). This is a lovely grandmother clock. Probably made in the first half of the 1900s. You did quite well to get it for 30 pounds. In the US, that would go for at least $500. Some thoughts about handling clocks--First, do not move the clock about a lot when the pendulum is attached. Secondly, do not switch the hands around the face so quickly as you have to give the clock a chance to chime. Third, do not over-wind; if it's already tight, that's enough. Yes, you do need to wind all three stems--one is for time, one is for chiming the quarters, one is for the tune. I strongly suspect that you will need a smith; the quarters are clicking out of sync and it is possible that it may have been overwound since it won't chime and it won't run. Fiddling with it yourself could make matters worse. (Yes, I know from sad personal experience.) When you take the clock to the smith, please remember to remove the pendulum--failing to do so can muck things up.
I inherited a chiming wall clock ..about 70 years old…it worked after getting a clocksmith to service it..but after a couple of years it stopped working. I was told it was because central heating dries out the oil in the mechanism…do you know if that could be true?
@@mariaseniuta I cannot speak with certainty but it does seem reasonable, depending upon the proximity to the heat vent and the frequency with which such heat is used (if you live in a cold region).. Forced hot air and even forced cold air (AC) could reasonably have an impact on a variety of things in the house.
My parents have a chiming wall clock that was given to my grandparents as a wedding gift in the early 1920s. In the bottom of the case is a jam jar lid with an oily bit of cloth soaked in paraffin. This is how my grandparents did it and it still works perfectly. So I think you are right, the mechanism needs to stay lubricated.
Hi Sean, I live in the mountains and walking about 3 miles every day up and down the hilly roads at a good pace has done more for me then going to the gym. Also, I eat smaller portions. A tip is to not use dinner plates but sandwich/salad size plates. Using these size plates fools you visually into thinking you are having a “full” plate. Also, I do not eat anytime less then 3 hours from going to bed. I will eat at lets say 6pm and then not go to bed until anytime after 9pm. This way you not only digest more food before sleeping but you body won’t be spending the bulk of the night doing so and you will get a better nights sleep and more rest. Not getting enough exercise and eating too big of portions of food causes weight gain for me. Walking briskly for at least 30-40 minutes every day will add as much as 10 years to your life, help strengthen your heart, and curb back many health issues. Many studies have proven this.
Hi Sean when I was living alone,I would batch cook my own healthy ready meals and freeze them. You mentioned getting a freezer for your cupboard.I would suggest that a small upright with draws would be better than a chest freezer, as you can access what you want rather than having to dig for it!!
After cooking for a family of 4 for 25 years we are now empty nesters. It’s very hard to buy a lot less every week but I make a concerted effort to use everything I buy, even if it means a meal with loads of veg and no potatoes to use up food that is going bad. Soup is always a good alternative to use up limp veg 👍
You could get free weights for at home. Stairs and hills are great to build muscle in your legs. Working and walking on your allotment will also build up muscle. The more muscle you have, the more calories you metabolize at rest.
Hi Sean, I have the exact Pyrex casserole dish that you have just shown. It was a wedding present in 1965. I still have Tupperware from all those years ago as well 😀👍🏻
Hi Sean, what a beautiful grandmother's clock. Remember parents having one back in the day. It probably needs a proper clock doc to look at it. Working on your new plot will be a gym workout in itself save your money for something else. If you're going for small shops use your bike save on bus fare 😊
I always make a monthly food plan and write out each meal, you dont have to eat in that order but it helps when shopping each week. I have a 20 minute walk home so have a bag on wheels. I only wash up after dinner at night as there are only a few dishes xx
I always Hope to do a weekly plan. Usually get 3 /4 days in to it. For 1 reason or another it changes. Thinking of meals for a month. I guess I could rotate some.
Grandmother clocks are very sensitive. You have to treat them very gently. But yours looks like it needs a little care from the Doctor. But she is a beautiful clock. When you get her working, you'll enjoy the sounds of the chimes.😊
Hi from Australia, we always wash the dishes after dinner. It's pretty normal for us to be washing up at 2am after Chridtmas dinner or a social gathering. I can't face dirty kitchen the next morning.❤
Hi Sean don’t bother with gym you just got your allotment and can imagine you being tired out after day there. The batteries that go on fire are the Chinese imports, there was loads of scooter batteries catching fire.
Wash up as you go so you only have a few things left over at the end of your meal. Also, get a bowl to fit in your sink so that if you need to use the sink you can lift the bowl with your dirty dishes out easily.
Love the clock, my grandfather used to have a big grandfather clock in his hallway and the chime was the same. That took me back to the 80s when I used to sit in front of the coal fire at my grandparentshouse, a mynah bird in the corner talking and the clock chiming every hour. Thank you for showing your clock, it's lovely and brought back some happy memories. I assume you got the clock for your own happy memories. I hope you get it working. Best of luck
I haven’t gotten one, but the ones I’ve seen on the greenway here, and talked to folks… they are quite heavy! Fine , if you don’t need to load and unload onto a bike rack for transport. I think if I lived where you don’t have to do that (very rural) id be interested in one.
On the food question, 2 suggestions Sean. Either buy little and often if you want to get out and about, seeing people or buying enough for 4 (which a tray of mince could be that size) and batch cooking. Either do 4 portions one day of, say, shepherds pie. Put in plastic containers for microwave or foil for oven and freeze. Then you could take out at night for next day and defrost in the fridge. Or double up on your Sunday dinner and freeze a plateful. I love the clock 🙂
Need to get it to Steve on The Repair Shop! Lol... My mom had a couple of antique English wall clocks for years but not sure whatever happened to them. As for being able to do something about them, no idea! I have found driving around town that we have a clock repair shop that I have wanted to stop into but haven't yet though I have seen a good number of older pendulum style wall clocks hanging in the window so will probably stop in sooner than later.
Sean you haven't put the pendulum on correctly, you need to take it off and turn it about so the hooks face you. The hooks go over the bottom of the top piece the slot in between the hooks allows for this. And most importantly the clock needs to be spot on level or it wont run properly. GOOD LUCK
What a beautiful Grandmother’s clock. We inherited my in laws grandfather’s clock and I adore it. When it stopped working, we were going to try to fix it ourselves but was advised to phone a clock repair shop first. Glad we did because he told us that people do more damage trying to fix their clocks. Leave it to the exports. Saves money in the long run. Love the Westminster chime. Beautiful. We just said good bye to our beautiful sheltie Robbie. He was 14. It was time but hard to do. Heart broken. He was our buddy. So loving and clever. Just a joy!! Our younger sheltie is very unsettled and constantly whining. Needs lots of hugs. So sad for all of us. Seeing your two fur babies made me smile . Thanks Sean. 💕
I cook enough to make up 2 plates, one for this day, one for the next. Then, I wash up all the dishes after a cooking day. The next day, since there is only a bowl and a plate or two, I leave them to do on the following day after I’ve cooked again. I wash the dishes but leave them to air dry so I put them away the next morning. It’s what works for me!
Love the clock .I had a grandmother clock many yrs ago, yors could be overwound. I personally cook more than i meal at the same time , like i will cook a chicken have a breast for 1meal with veg .then pull legs off have l say with a jacket potato and salad another leg pull meat off and have a stir fry and rice.remaining carcass and breast with veg in slow cooker then makes another couple of meals ie stew with dumplings or Yorkshire pudding freezing the stews in containers. Voila 6 meals for the price of a large chicken about £4.99 x
How can you drink tea when it's made with hot water? For the best tea brewing experience, one should pour boiling (bubbling) water onto the tea, even if your using teabags. It brings out so much more flavour. I think it's best to add milk only after it's brewed for 4 minutes, and you've fished the teabag out. Just saying lol.
Definitely boiling water needed for Yorkshire tea and the like, lower temp best for Earl Gray, green teas etc. I am the pickiest person in the world when it comes to tea . I won’t even use previously boiled water !
I really love old clocks. There is a bit of magic in them. The chime is comforting as well. The scent brings back memories as well. I'll stay tuned to see what you learn about this lovely work of art. Enjoy your day, though I am late to this party. Enjoy whatever day this finds you at! Onward you go!
'H' s(from Steps) grandfather used to be a clock repairer, I remember talking to him about an old German wall clock that I had - his knowledge of clocks was amazing, he was such a lovely man.
Have you thought about meal planning? It takes some discipline when you start but can really cut back on food waste once you get in the habit. Just a suggestion
Dont believe it,was only looking at one to buy the other day!! cant remember either if its a grandaughter or grandmother!! 😂 i love them! Always wanted a cookoo clock as well!!!
Hi Sean, I really like watching you and how your meddle in your back yard. I don’t know If I got the order right but I was sad when I heard you are giving up your allotment but off course it makes sense especially if you can have one nearer. I am also watching you saving advice. Might I have one or two for you? Don’t wash up with running water. Looking forward to new videos. Greetings from Germany.
I make a weekly meal menu on my calendar then create a shopping list with the meat/fish/vegetables/salad needed for each meal. Use any leftovers for my lunch.
With growing mint I have found its best is to find some wild mint that you can sometimes see growing along the side of mountain roads or buy the plant to put in your soil for me thats always been a lot more successful. 🌿
Perhaps your allotment neighbours have calendula & borage seed or seedlings great flowers great for beneficials too Worth asking Sean. I suggest not buying plug plants cos they’re too pricey. A lot of flowers can be sown outdoors in May. Worth checking it out
Hi Sean, you're getting proper organised there! Stock up a little bit on some frozen & canned meats & veggies. Chopped tomatoes, tuna, a bag of pasta and some grated cheese has saved the day here many times. Freeze a garlic bread too if you like it? All helps if you feel a bit ill or the weather is bad.. The clock is a beauty, try a teeny bit of WD or some oil on a soft cloth around the spring?
Evening Sean, love the clock,my nan had a small Westminster chime mantle clock I always found the ticking noise soothing as a child and quite often fell asleep listening to it! Buying plants rather than seeds is a good idea until you have a couple of beds up and running in your plot, you will get quicker results and have time to plant a few seeds ready for when you harvest depending on what you want to grow i suppose.hope that you can get the clock fixed take care Sean 💜
I have a Grandfather clock, which has been in my family for years. I also have a Venetian Regulator, which my Grandma left me, as well as her cuckoo clock. Maybe your clock needs cleaning.
Sean if you can afford a car go for it! You can take us along on all kinds of fun adventures! E-bike would be nice too. I hate waking up to a messy kitchen so I always clean before going to bed. Cool clock hope you can get it working!
Hi Sean, thanks for the video - your brunch looked scrummy! 😊 Your Grandmother Clock looked great it definitely had a lovely tone - that is the extent of my knowledge though, sorry! Re doing a more regular shop, we have a mid-week pass which we paid up front for with our supermarket, so whilst you are restricted to having your delivery Tues, Weds or Thurs it works out cheaper than paying the delivery charge each week. 👍 Our supermarket also do an anytime pass but we thought that was too expensive! I'm not sure your supermarket has that? If it was me, I wouldn't bother paying out for a gym membership, once you get stuck into your allotment I think that will make all the difference to you! Sean, in the top corner of your kitchen above the veggie rack, I think I could see black mould starting, definitely get a window open when you are cooking also spray the black mould with white vinegar that will kill it and stop it growing. Definitely nip it in the bud as mould can really harm your health. Lovely to see your cats again bless them! Take care.
It's a granddaughter made by smiths Enfield , I'm a watch and clockmaker and would say that at the very least it needs oiling but only with the correct oils, never ever wd40 or3in1 as they get too sticky and collect dirt. To set it up the pendulum part is in 3at the top is the suspension spring then the leader that fits in the slot from the crutch piece and hooks onto the pins of the suspension the bob then hooks onto the bottom of the leader, once that is done put clock carefully in place to set going tilt clock left or right and set back it should start ticking it needs an even tic toc if you tilt the clock either left or right till you get an even beat you will need to move the crutch piece gently over till you feel it stop then apply a bit of pressure to move it this is done towards the side that was lifted but it will only need to be moved a degree or two better to have lots of little goes than shove it too far and have to correct it in the other direction
That clock must be on the absolute level. check the chime hammers have not been locked. Get a clock smith to sort it out, it looks like it is overwound. These clocks DO need regular maintenance, that’s why some people get rid of them.
Another great video. I think having a car would benefit you massively. You can explore Wales in a way you can't when you don't have a car. Love the clock but don't know anything about them other than my grandmother had one and as a child the ticking drove me mad at night. 😂
The forked part at the top of the pendulum might need to be centered on a protruding tab driven by the main spring. The pendulum also seems to be designed in such a way that shortening it or lengthening it will determine whether the clock runs fast or slow or just right. You might need to fiddle about with this, but not the hands on the clock face so much. Getting the hands to sync with the chimes can be a tricky business. Hope this helps somewhat. It's a very nice piece.
Dear Sean, perhaps it would be more convenient to buy a large thermos (2 liters). I boil 2 liters of water in the morning (I'm a tea drinker like you), put this in the large thermos and I have hot water for my tea all day long (stays hot for 8 hours). It is useful to have one with some kind of pouring mechanism. And sometimes I have some hot water left over, which is enough for washing dishes or to rinse everything briefly. Saves a lot of power consumption and is very handy. Another tip is to save up for an induction hob (1 burner can simply be plugged into the socket) and a hay warming bag, hay box or hay madam. I don't know what it's called in English and I don't think the translation is correct. It is a kind of bag that resembles a duvet that is filled with hay or sheep's wool. Here in the Netherlands it has the dubious name Hooimadam (hay madam). Very convenient, you don't need electricity. You can cook in it but also keep something very cold. I always cook my rice, potatoes or pasta in it.
I don't know about the back side part of the clock, but those in the front - my grandfather had a similar clock and each of the springs were about a week to go. So he could wind up each spring each week but he actually preferred to wind up both twice a month.
Since living alone I wash my dishes once a day but always after my dinner in the evening😮. Like others said I gate to get up to be faced with any chore.
It could be helpful to have a menu for a fortnight and see how you go otherwise put things in your freezer and pull things out the night before and put in fridge
I'm no expert but old clocks don't like being moved - give it time to settle (like a fridge!) probably needs springs cleaned. 3 winders - one is time, others optional to chime. I wasn't allowed to wind or touch the innards of Dad's Grandfather clock until I was 50! 🤣
Some of my oldest memories are, a loud ticking clock on the mantelpiece of every home, the strong aroma of tea leaves and a table in the middle of the room. That would have been during the 60s. I would kill to have a loud ticking clock. I find them so soothing, but my family think otherwise. :(
Freeze meat/ chicken/ fish in smaller portions for later, and batch cook crock pot meals and portion them out in freezer pots, saves time and money, you should have a go at canning your produce, and drying.,good luck with the allotment,
that bijou yours should be great transport for local shopping, all you need is a good basket or backpack for the groceries. it would not work for longer distances, but great exercise with a purpose. I love your clock, but does it not nave weights?
Someone once gave me a good piece of advice. If you have it in your hand, make sure you put it where it belongs. When your dinner dishes are in your hand to get to the sink, wash and store them away right then. Lose weight? Keep eating veg and protein, bike to the allotment, and work there and bike home.
Good morning Sean, have you thought about getting a small freezer if you had enough room somewhere in your cottage. You can save food that way and freeze your home cooked meals . After putting a full day in at the allotment you could have a meal waiting for you , just have to warm it up. Have a great day , warming up here nicely in southern B.C.
Hi Sean, I'm pretty sure the pendulum needs to be lower. Looks like you need to take the pendulum out, turn it around and put it back so the top of the pendulum and bottom of the piece in the clock mesh together. Pretty clock, pretty chime. I love my antique clocks.
I find getting into a good daily routine helps with your health. Get up at the same time, eat at regular times, choose times to exercise, cook, do chores and relax. You will achieve more and your mood will improve. Then go to bed at the same time every night. Stick to it and you will find it rewarding. You don't need to go to the gym, you have an allotment, that's nature's gym. Good luck Sean.
Is there an off or lock switch in the back of the clock? So many people switch the chimes off when the novelty has passed. The only repairer that I have used in recent years is based on the industrial estate in Aberdare, not that easy to get to and he didn't work standard office hours. I hope that you find a freezer that suits, they are ideal for putting up unused produce or meal portions. It is possible to freeze far more than most people think - it saves waste in the long term. I find a lot of veg goes off prematurely these days - maybe not ideal conditions at harvest/ storage - onions being the worst. It is easy to prep fruit and veg while you are at it, then pack it in the freezer while it is still in good condition.
I was very lucky in that I had a small built in dishwasher here, but it decided not to work after 7 years, about 2 months ago now, and despite my checking everything, and trying to fix it, it is still broken, and I can not afford a new one, so am having to do everything by hand now, as you do, and I HATE washing up! I think I would not mind it so much if I had a window to look out of, but my sink faces the wall, and despite having put a mirror behind the tap to try and make it lighter, it does not really help! So, shamefully, I tend to leave the dishes for a few days sometimes (I do get rid of any food on them first though) before I have to wash them! I see you have your new slow cooker at last - do you find you are using it? xxx
i would be worried about spending too much money with buses and gyms. I would use the bike, save money and get fit and lose weight. you can also do some weight lifting with large full water bottles. you will need your money for your allottment. good luck. I save money by only buying food every 2 weeks. I make lots of soups and stews and put in the freezer. it saves me lots of time and money in the long term. good luck. you might be able to get a freezer in your study, you can cover it if it is too ugly.
If you can get to a B&Q you can get some great plants discounted I visit when we can and get some good ones for a fraction of the price like you say they have sales/discounts on plants that are considered out of season I got 6 evergreens one time for £5 think in 2022 and plenty of flowers too aswell as veg and fruits but again it’s luck of the draw as well
Re the clock... these clocks are very temperamental to being level, so you might have to pack the bottom of it and keep trying to get it to keep going.
Love the video! Mushroom fruiting can be irregular and depending on the kit you may omelet get one or two batches. It also depends on local environment as they can be sensitive sometimes. As for food preparation you should be able to get a small front-opening freezer about the size of a mini fridge. I have one and it works quite well. I am jealous of your clock but for many reasons one wouldn’t work here. I suggest a clocksmith to at least tell you what’s working. It’s easy to damage clocks of all types. I think we’re finally past extreme freezing here so likely I will start planting many things soon. Considering a greenhouse but the city is annoying about such things.
The clock needs to be level, first. Are the gears turning while the pendulum is moving? If you can find a repairman, try to get him to come to you. Don’t move it around a lot.
I shop once a fortnight with Waitrose. Freeze what I can. Buy long lasting milk. I make my own bread. I don't throw away much. Rarely buy anything else. Planning helps x
Do you have a freezer Sean? You can batch cook and portion meals out. If you don't have a freezer maybe ask a friend if they have space in theirs for a couple of meals (you could also bribe them by offering a free meal from the ones you freeze!)
I love the grandmother clock. I you see another for around that price, please let me know. Or if you decide to part with that one for any reason. Also, do you have a freezer? I so, there are so many money saving tips that could be shared.
Well i really enjoy your channel, you can tell youve worked in theatre of some sort.I think the bus pass of 120 £ is wiser than 100£,however a small van is a luxury you can work out how to draw towards you as this makes your world better. I know as i am saving myself for a small car again,i sold mine and what a mistake i made.x
I hate when I forget food in fridge and waste it. One tip we learned that works great is to have a clear bin in prominent spot in your fridge for “USE SOON” items. Periodically scan shelves and drop anything you should use within the next day or two into that bin. Then it’s more obvious what you need to cook IMMEDIATELY every time you open the fridge! I think we got this tip from the “Il Refugio Perfetto” TH-cam channel.
I have started reading ingredients and was shocked to see how soy is in everything! Sounds like it needs to have Steve at the "Repair Shop" to look at it. Pendulum is supposed to regulate the clock IIRC
Sean why don’t you walk to Triochy do your shopping then get the bus back ? You will save on Gym fees and bus fare. Just an idea. Google says it around 5 miles You will get your exercise in and get your shopping. 3 times a week would be ideal. Enjoyed your video and lovely seeing the cats.
The batteries are safe if you follow proper procedures and never permit them to be frozen. Long term storage in an old metal tool box. Replace only with original replacement no cheap same as replacements.
On the clock face at 3 is there a switch to turn on the chime? Also in the back if the cogs are not moving them no power or motion to move the pendulum to run the clock.
I’ve just checked and you are correct! Still doesn’t work but I’m think that switch could be to turn off the chimes but for the clock to continue. Great spot! Thanks.
Love your channel Sean, i recently moved alone, i it feels like i have a friend who is doing the same. Find myself eagerly awaiting your next up load. I recently got a pack of resistance bands online, and fined them a great substitute to dumbells etc, and there is fantastic resistance band work outs to follow on youtube. Hope you have a great weekend, from the Garnock Valley in Scotland thanks and take care.
I v just recently bought a pice of furniture that old it has the top come down to reveal a writing desk just like the one you bought with out the glass cabinet you made me think why not buy the old stuff that I grew up with to good to waste is working
I wash up as I go along. So that when I sit to eat, there is just the plate and cutlery that needs washing. And I wash those immediately after.

I wash up after my evening meal. It saves on water and washing up liquid.
Definitely. Beds made as soon as we get up and no dirty dishes n the sink when we go to bed. Just the way we roll.
Hi Sean, you have just got a new allotment project surely that will get you fit. Definitely more enjoyable than a gym
I think buy little and buy often. It makes sense due to your smaller refrigerator & freezer space. I noticed you breaking off asparagus ends. I collect those along with onions, pepper stems leftover and other vegetables. I put all together in freezer bag. I make broth for soup when I accumulate enough.
What a great idea. I use the outer leaves 🍃 from cauliflower, carrot 🥕 tops, etc for soups 🍲 too 😊

I’m 70, and I mainly buy whatever is reduced. I have absolutely no wasted food ever.

Best of luck
... you could kill two birds with one stone by using your bike, for shopping, visits, getting fit, etc, etc ????
I will when my helmet arrives.
@@tananario23Sean has an electric bicycle, but it doesn’t do all the work. It’s like cycling with the wind at your back, still a decent workout.
Sean there is a repair cafe in Pentre where you take things to be repaired usually free of charge if its like the one near me.
Thanks. Will look into it.
GOOD LUCK
you could get a box of mixed wild flower seeds and sprinkle them over your borders. much cheaper than plants and you'll get lots of pollinators, etc
I tried that & nothing grew. So disappointed. Any advice on where I went wrong & what seeds to buy?
@@sarahholland2600 Same thing happened to me last year.
@@susanyates4233 I would love the wildflower look. I'm going to Google & see if I did something wrong.
@@sarahholland2600 we just boiught a box of seeds from the garden centre and threw them on the ground.
Boiling water makes the tea bitter as it burns the leaves.
Agree. Certainly adding the milk first, especially full-fat, prevents the tea leaves from brewing. That’s why the tea always looks so weak.
Additionally using different temperatures particularly with herbal teas draws out different compounds in the plant matter .
You need to let the tea brew away in hot water and stir away looking at the colour. When happy only add the milk then you can get the best taste.
Family of three. We Do the dishes and a load of laundry before bed every night.
Have you thought about meal planning? It takes some discipline when you start but can really cut back on food waste once you get in the habit. Just a suggestion
You can set your smartphone alarm to ring every hour with the Westminster chime if you decide to return it within 30 days. 😃
I found since my partner died and only cooking for one l buy for a few days so definitely less waste
Hi Sean, try planning your meals for the week and shopping accordingly then you won't get any wastage 😊
Your Grandmother Clock looked great it definitely had a lovely tone - that is the extent of my knowledge though, sorry!
Take care.
Will try that with vinegar. Thanks.
Hi Sean, are you getting a bit of black mould from condensation up the corner above the veggie rack? You need to open a window or door when cooking.
Many thanks. Have screenshot this and will read it several times. Thank you.

Why don't you freeze your food more ,? Like chicken breast , sausages ?
He dose but his freezer in very tiny. He has spoken before about getting a freezer. I think it’s a must to save wasting food.
Your kitchen is looking very organised :-)
Straight into the dishwasher for me , every kitchen should have one .even if you live alone 😊
The clock is beautiful and the back garden is also from the view upstairs.
Since living alone I wash my dishes once a day but always after my dinner in the evening😮. Like others said I gate to get up to be faced with any chore.
O no food waste is bad, try and throw things in the slow cooker and when the meal is cooked and cooled then freeze
Not a clock person, but I noticed that when my cuckoo clock wasn't perfectly level, it wouldn't work. It would start and then stop.
By the way, I am a Swansea Jack.
Freeze meat/ chicken/ fish in smaller portions for later, and batch cook crock pot meals and portion them out in freezer pots, saves time and money, you should have a go at canning your produce, and drying.,good luck with the allotment,
I leave dish’s for a while, but in the sink with water to soften any thing stuck one them.
I'm in lancashire it's been windy but warm was up at 33.3 degrees
that bijou yours should be great transport for local shopping, all you need is a good basket or backpack for the groceries. it would not work for longer distances, but great exercise with a purpose.
That’s the plan when funds allow.
Mint is very slow from seed ive found thats why most people buy a plant to start
I go to a weekly spin cycle class on static bikes and when you go out on your bike find that you can go for a ride you will find it easier to peddel
Love the grandmother clock :-)
Hi Sean, I plan a menu for my husband & myself. So I know what to buy for the week, cuts down on wastage.
I see you have your new slow cooker at last - do you find you are using it? xxx
I do my asparagus in the frying pan as they fit & yes I leave my dishwashing to the next day.
i would be worried about spending too much money with buses and gyms.
A suggestion and friendly advice. It is a good time to set yourself up with a monthly budget.
Hi Sean I wash my pots after each meal and l do buy more food than we eatlll so write a list if that's helps
❤ making the length of the bit bob. Longer or shorter will affect how fast or slow it runs
Hi Sean, new camera looks 👌 heard good things about the osmo pocket 3
The clock needs to be level, first. Are the gears turning while the pendulum is moving? If you can find a repairman, try to get him to come to you. Don’t move it around a lot.
No the wheels aren’t turning. Am going to try some WD40 first.
@@seanjamescameron "WD40"?, VERY BAD IDEA!, clock oil ...nothing else.
@@seanjamescameronI don't think that's right , my grandparents used paraffin.

Do you have a freezer Sean? You can batch cook and portion meals out. If you don't have a freezer maybe ask a friend if they have space in theirs for a couple of meals (you could also bribe them by offering a free meal from the ones you freeze!)
Hopefully get one next month.

This is a great idea, I'm going to use this. Thank you ❤

Great spot! Thanks.
