Otherwise it's like me playing a SoP song on guitar flawlessly and then saying that I am as good as if not better than Jonas Bryssling.
Thanks for posting, when I found this band, I was blown away and am dying to see them live. Can't wait to see what Christian Muenzner brings to SoP with the new album. He is an amazing guitarist so nothing short of mind blowing, I'm sure : )

I know it's been 6 years, but... you're in luck. Check Benjamin Carper's on TH-cam.. He has great sounding instrumentals of all SoP albums. I think only one song is missing (he explains why it's not there).
schill is a great drummer,very skilled,but in my opinion dennis is way better,dennis blasted with left hand only,secondly,this guy plays all the songs very well apart from church of deviance,i know it's a great effort,but dennis blasted church of deviance much more faster

I have been dying to see them. but with jonas doing lead im wondering whats going to happen. he has to come back. his solos are insanely intense. all his parts are intense. i don't think anyone can match his style

Dennis did drums and vocals for the first two records. For Incurso, Dennis only did vocals (he said in interviews that he felt like he was trying too hard) and drums were played by a guy named Henrik Schönström.

@@alk3603 I think they just recorded it and toured it..everything is written by the guitar player and maybe erlend,the bass player helped him with something; i don't know who played drums in incurso, but the till that moment drummer(not this one,a viking) is the singer...maybe he played also drums...incredible

Same with Scorched. There isn't a single video of Rondum playing that song. I wish there were, but the closest thing we have to that is Rondum playing Church of Deviance live. That song was originally 290 bpm, but he sped it up to about 300 something bpm

You can see he is using doubles on the bass drum. No shame in that, I believe its the only way to play 270+ unless you are george kollias

If you listen to the studio-recordings and Have an ear for details you will notice a lot of things that makes this band to one of the greatest!
