@@youngsatchlol that’s not true at all bruh some classes are just better than others and on the surface there’s no studs in this years. Doesn’t mean nobody will be good, it’s just not obvious who it’ll be
People never talk about this but the most attractive part of the draft, is that it lets you sign a really good player for really low salary for 4 years. That's how Maxey got paid 3 million last year. So the value of draft picks is just increasing because if you get a useable player at 10-30th, now you paying basically a vet minimum level contract for guys who can easily pay major roles. That's why OKC is saving all those picks. They will need newer cheaper draft picks to supplement their team when their guys get too pricey
@@willjensen5595 That’s true, but Edey has more size and length than both. Edey already has a back to the basket game which Capela and Clingan lack. Hopefully he’ll develop a face up game eventually. But I feel the hawks will draft the guard from France or Clingan.
Even if this is a weak draft, every team needs rotation players and young talent to develop. There have been multiple drafts in the past that seemed stacked with future (super)stars, but a lot of them became decent rotation pieces. Who knows? Maybe this draft class will prove to have some diamonds in the rough.
it makes sense though. the hawks have both capela and onyeka okongwu. and they’ve shown that they down care about the development of okongwu and start capela even though he’s the worse out of the two. If I was him, i wouldn’t want to be there either
@@davidhusari2739 Capela would more than likely be traded. He’s in the last year of his contract and plus he’s declining. Still plays with a high motor, but isn’t the shot blocker he once was and has trouble finishing around the rim. He missed so many layups and lobs last season.
@@Bwell218 i agree, but i don’t think the hawks front office would. They showed the past few seasons that they’ll start him no matter what, even if it means limiting the development of their young bigs. Plus, even if they trade capela and draft Sarr, those are 2 starting caliber centers that they need to figure out how to have both. It’ll be the same problem they had with capela and okongwu, just this time with okongwu and Sarr
As a Celtics fan, we need a backup big. Kristaps is injury prone, AL Hortford is 38, and who knows if the other guys are back (Luke Kornet is a Free Agent). Maybe Zach Edey at 30?
I pray Risacher doesn’t go 1st. I see a lot of similarities between him and Jabari Smith, only Risacher is slightly better with the ball but Jabari is bigger. I don’t see his handle developing to where he becomes a threat off the dribble that would warrant him going first.
Bronny gonna be throwing a tantrum yelling at dad to do something if he doesn’t get drafted, gonna laugh hysterically at whatever moronic team takes him. 🤣

Draft underrated, minimum 2-3 1st round allstars kids are alot more talented now
I completely agree just because there's no wemby doesn't mean these guys can't grow in to great players
Facts. “Success“ of the draft is based on fit, cause all these kids are talented. So it’s only a bad draft if the teams draft bad lol

What ever happened to the Scoot Henderson's and Jaden Ivey's that I was told were going to be actually good.
Casual fan alert. 🤣
Well Monty Williams happened to Jaden Ivey but I do get your point
Jaden shows flashes of greatest when he’s actually given minutes
I don't know why you think they aren't going to be good. There is a real chance Scoot ends up being a very good player- Jaden could be decent too
Jaden ivey is good he's just on a crap team and monty williams didnt give him much playing time for some reasob
Bronny is the same height as Payton Pritchard
I think Bronny should pick Chris Paul’s mind Bronny is bigger than cp3 and more athletic. He also has dads iq which is similar to cp3.

This is a weak draft cuz there’s no anticipated player like how we had 2016-2020 and 2023

There gotta be better prospects in the G-League already than this draft class
They are making a bigger deal about 2 and picks for 2 reasons browny James and because Nikola jokic was picked during a Toco bell Comercial.
A weak draft prospect already demanding a trade from the Hawks before he even gets into the league. Damn.
