Thanks for putting together this compilation of Ren at the piano. I'm feeling like maybe I should learn piano, it's so beautiful, and he makes it look so easy. I know it's hard, but his fingers flow...he IS the music. So, maybe I should learn, and use the piano that's been sitting in my house for 20 odd years. @@RenNotRenIf it wasn't for you and Hex, I'd forever be out of the multi-platform loop.. it's not that I care at all for gossip, or 'groups', or to develop an unhealthy encyclopaedic mental folder on all things Ren, but referring to those I deem the 'kindred spirits' of the world, we tend to see glimmers of something special gleaming just below the surface, or a certain odd chord is struck that calls us to attention like some collective.dog-whistle, entirely on a frequency known only to us.. it's those bits of happy that I never wish to miss, to not experience for myself, in the moment..not as Midas' golden nuggets of greed, but like pilfering the moonbeams still faintly shining in a smile, as if to capture the secret wonders of their creative soul, like fireflies in a jar, the faint glow dancing about, happily lighting the way. One of the things that has aided you on your musical journey is your inherent desire to excel and willingness to remain the student of your craft. I thought this was well demonstrated in the extended BTS of MG3, when you had the humility to ask the pro classical pianist you employed, to send a video of his hands playing your composition to help make your own playing of the piece more ergonomic despite having composed the whole thing. That humbleness will take you a long way.
I’m not even sure it was intended to be captured on camera as you can only just pick it up from the background conversation but I thought it was an enlightening insight into REN’s striving and ambition to improve. I also have to give a shout out to the pianist himself because the ever changing ing time signatures and the need to simultaneously dovetail with REN’s vocals in this performance must have made that more than a little tricky to get right. He did a great job.

I could listen to you sing or play for hours. I'm so glad you 've gotten your chance back to really shine. You actually project this level of brightness when you play. It's so rewarding to listen to. Except when your "go to word" is F--ck. You really do have to watch your f..kery when taping.
What I love is that it's so warm, beautiful, sultry, and calm, and then he'll wake you up with a "WAAAH MUTHAF*CKAS" 😂😂 Endlessly entertaining whether it be in a serious way or a randomly hilarious way 👌
