Building Snow Fort in 12ft of Snow - Crater Lake National Park

My three boys Moses, Elijah, Abraham, and I drove up to Crater Lake National Park a few days ago to dig a snow fort. There was over 12 feet of snow on the ground up at the lake. It was really nice once we dug down far enough to get out of the wind! The drive up to Crater Lake on Highway 138 East is incredibly beautiful along the North Umpqua River. There are so many beautiful waterfalls and hiking trails along the way up.
We stopped at the Atom Bistro and Coffee Bar in Glide Oregon for coffee and delicious cinnamon rolls! Highly recommend!
