Megan I about fell out of my chair when you showed the piece that your aunt stitched for your grandparents as I started that piece 32 years ago but it is full of confetti stitches so I put it away. I put it on this years WIPGO board and have put a few hours into it and have also designated it as my stitch every 30th day of the month. I will finish it someday lol. Thanks for sharing your time with us!
I’m so glad you found Live and Dye LA! Their fabrics and flosses are wonderful. I stumbled across them online in January 2023 and have bought way too much since then. 😂 Smack the Jellyfish is also gorgeous as a floss, especially for a more abstract design on white. The colors are just amazing.
Glad to see you girls again! Always enjoy hearing about your adventures. Looking forward to seeing Lisa in Tulsa. Will miss you Megan. We are getting ready to hunker down again tonight for tornadoes. Fun times in Oklahoma.
Happy to see you, love you both. You have been busy shopping, woohoo! Finishes, WIPS are all great so much fun to watch. Grandma picture is beautiful, what a treasure. Thank you for shating.
Happy to see you both! Beautiful FFO'S & WIPS! Loved hearing about your fun times at Stitch West, Shepherd's Bush would be a fun shop. I think of it being like the Silver Needle...I could spend hours in that shop. Your Grandparents Anniversary piece is a special keepsake, brought tears to my eyes. Happy Stitching!
Hay lady's just watched your floss tube and you said your going to be at color and cotton in June you guys really need to also go to stitch ect. In Farmington it's about a hour from color and cotton it's a beautiful cross stitch shop and Kim and Ashley are great and Farmington is a beautiful town
I will be attending the Stitch Ect. retreat in July with Primrose so I will be able to visit their shop then. I look forward to seeing all the goodies they have for sale.
Ladies I love your videos! Megan, I was excited to hear that you like Wagner Ware too! My mom handed them down to me. I have been collecting more pieces since then. I always keep my eyes open at antique shops! Lisa, what fabric are you going to use for your Blackbird birthday stitch? You all take care, Happy Stitching! Diane
Think it's neat that you stitch at the library. Enjoy your retreat and retreat news. Like seeing haul and seeing the highlights. Enjoy your stitching...
So great to see you both back! You both are so fun to watch! Sounds like stitch west was fun! Sorry the climate made it rough. I look forward to your next video!!
I always enjoy seeing the changes you make in color of cloth. I really don't have much confidence to do that but I made the jump and stitching Fat Quarter Shop's Moonbeams on yellow Belfast linen and making color changes as I go. It's been fun! I think that's so cool you guys set a challenge for each other. Look forward to next time and have fun at the retreats. Happy Mother's Day.
Oh i watched it all and so much stitchy goodies !! Enjoyed seeing your gifts and loved the haul. All the stitched pieces made me want to pull out something but it's bedtime so will have to wait until tomorrow!! Look forward to your next video Loved all the pretty bags !! I'm blessed that my sister is a very talented seamstress and makes me beautiful bags.
I absolutely love watching you two ladies! Your WIPS, FFO’s, and haul was so fun to see! I am sooooo impressed that y’all list EVERYTHING from names of patterns to shops and beyond! This native Texan thanks you VERY MUCH! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Great to see you ladies ! The name tags holder looks very much like a ByAnnie pattern named “Call Me”. Her patterns are easy to sew with very good instructions. Megan, thank you for the tip on “stretching” our floss for a pattern. Lisa, I totally get you on the write it down. A dear friend once told me something that immediately became one of my life axioms: “The faintest pen is better than the best memory.”
OMG...this weather is horrible!! Here is SC, it can't decide it it's early Spring or the middle of Hurricane season. Luckily, not many really humid days - but it will be oppressive when they start!! Love to hear all about Retreats, can't attend any, but LOVE hearing about them.
I really enjoyed your video tonight … all the wips, finishes and hauls were just amazing … I admire all of you stitchers who work on linen … and y’all’s project bags were so pretty … until next time ❤️ Dena
Wow! Your two ladies have been busy. Your projects are ALL so beautiful. I have made a long list of future charts i want to stitch after seeing your stitchy beauties and haul. I would someday love to go to a retreat. It sounds like so much fun. Thanks for sharing ❤
Loved your WIP, finish parade! I had to stop the video and IMMEDIATELY go order the Sandlot kit! Me and my son watched that movie so many times, we can both recite it word for word!
Megan, I had issues with the climate too at Stitch West. I assume it was the altitude? It took me several days after I got back for my sinuses to get back to normal. Debbie (Snug Harbor Crafts) and I are starting American Welcome on June 1st. #americanwelcomesal. Look forward to seeing your progress. Enjoyed meeting you at Stitch West.
Omg so so happy to see you again, you bring such joy to the stitching community. Love all your adventures and haul.Megan enjoy all the graduations. Can't wait to see you again.💗
I've missed your faces so much! I can't wait for Stitch-Con so we can catch up. 34 days... I finally found my cross stitch stash in the back of my storage unit and risked life and limb climbing on top of boxes to get them. There's one box still MIA, but I have all my patterns, floss and fabric in the house. Whew! I'll take a look at those patterns Lisa is starting this month - I know I have both of those pattern books. Maybe I will do a "start-along" with you and Theresa. 😂😂 Love you bunches!!
So much fun to hear about your experience at Stitch West. It was great to have you both at my table. I enjoyed your table mate gift. The pattern stand and Primrose pattern will be used and stitched soon! Lisa, you may have inspired me to stitch the Teresa Kogut Halloween sampler! You have made great progress. I hope you both make it back to Utah for another Stitch West!!!!!
You both are the cutest gals. Fun fact.. the original sandlot movie was partially filmed just up the street from stitch west and shepherds bush store.. i live close to the area- shepherds bush is my closest store .. I know it’s a good problem to have. 😁 have a great day-
Loved your video even though I’m a little late catching up. Sounds like you all have had a very busy few weeks but also a very fun retreat! Megan-the paisley and polka dot frame with the interchangeable pieces at the top-would love to hear what your ideas for charts are for each month. I love this frame but can’t figure out what to stitch other than the Primrose Cottage one that is shown on the P&P website.
Thank you for the shout out!!! It was a treat to get to meet you at Stitch West Spring! Wish we could have been together at Library Stitchers (the rumblings are there will be another next year!!). Looking forward to meeting you again soon!!

They are way out of my normal color pallet however I just couldn't resist. I can't wait to find the perfect pattern to stitch on them.
The FFO's are so much fun - both stitching and painting! Thank you for sharing your stitchy joy!
You are so welcome!
Glad to see you girls again! Always enjoy hearing about your adventures. Looking forward to seeing Lisa in Tulsa. Will miss you Megan. We are getting ready to hunker down again tonight for tornadoes. Fun times in Oklahoma.
We have been thinking about all of our stitchy friends to the north. These past few weeks have been wild with weather. Stay safe!
Burleson stitching sounds fun. Maybe on nonlake weekends I can see how far it is. Happy stitching hope to see you at box car!
Sounds great!

I am still so thrilled I found that piece. My mom has some that were my grandmothers and I've already told my brother they will become mine ..lol...
For my blackbird birthday stitch I’m going to use Irish Bog Sky by The Primitive Hare. It’s a 30 count linen.
Think it's neat that you stitch at the library. Enjoy your retreat and retreat news. Like seeing haul and seeing the highlights. Enjoy your stitching...

Utah is the Beehive State. I live about 15 minutes South of Shepherds Bush. I will be going to Stitdh West in October.

It was so nice to meet you as well Tina. I believe Lisa will attend another retreat there. Unfortunately, I don't think my body could handle it :(
@@TheSassySouthernStitchers So fun to meet you too! I’m so sorry the elevation affected you so much 😕

Wow that is a great fun fact! Thank you for sharing.

We will be there June 11th @10am

Miss you guys!! 😊
I will have to do so research on this. I am hoping that they P&P would reach out to different designers for a pattern specifically for this frame 🤞
Loved the long video-I got a lot of stitching done 😂
So glad! I know long videos can be a hit or miss for some. I prefer flosstubes with some length, so I don't have to keep searching as I stitch.
Welcome back, ladies! Awesome haul. 🩷🙏🎉
Thank you. It was a little overwhelming, but we made it through.
Thanks! Enjoyed like always.
Glad you enjoyed it 💗
Thank you for the shout out!!! It was a treat to get to meet you at Stitch West Spring! Wish we could have been together at Library Stitchers (the rumblings are there will be another next year!!). Looking forward to meeting you again soon!!
I will for sure be attending the next Library stitchers retreat. I miss the east coast!

Omg! Yall are in Texas? So am I. I have been waiting for a Texan floss tube. My daughter is at TSU. My son is at TSTC.

Are you aware that the word handicapped is really out of date? In the UK the word disabled is used instead.
Here in the US it is still used to specify restrictions and added assistance. I am sorry if you were offended in any way however, I was speaking about my own personal limitations of which I am handicapped which requires restrictions and needed assistance.
Had to break this up to watch. There were so many ads!
So strange. I find that the first time I watch it there are no ads but if I pause or watch it a second time there are ads.
There’s my girls!!
Finally we made it back! Thank you for the love ❤️
What happened to you guys?!
