Fiat 500 Diesel Non Runner Pt3 - More Problems & New Decision...

Part 3 of the non running Fiat 500 diesel.......
After the disappointment on the glow plug snapping in the head, we dusted ourselves off and started the process of removing bit to get the head off to drill out the snapped glow plug.
To do this however we need to remove the injectors to be able to remove the cam cover to gain access to the head, which even after buying a special injector removal tool will not budge the injectors...
After a number of weeks trying without success we have made the decision to replace the engine, now just to find one at a decent price.....

I had a Punto Multijet years ago which was the 70 bhp engine. Circa 3 years later had a Panda Multijet (which despite being an 05-12 shape) may have had the later 75 bhp engine. So might need a few numbers off it in order to get right one.

hi guys you re doing the best thing that engine is probably scrap cat and dpf will need cleaning out to will be full of oil and you need the pre 2012 engine and your engine is also in the fiat forino van too i may know someone who got a engine in stoke im on the fiat fourms cfc keep up the good work and contents 🤜
