Hoirmiya is is an anime adaptation that have an original webtoons OVA before breaking ground this year in 2021. Hori san is a young high school girl who well.. Likes a bit of foul play in her relationships. She loves when Miyamura is a bad boy I guess it's the masochistic side of her that no one knows about.

I remember later in the manga it’s slightly fleshed out where it’s revealed that she’s not exactly masochistic (though she might as well be). She really likes the “gap moe” that occurs when he treats her that way since it’s so far opposite of his normal personality. In explaining this essentially it means that she will only ever be masochistic towards him due to that crazy gap in personality.

It’s the kind of mellow dramatic romance I prefer. The only other show I’ve watched that’s close is Bloom into You if you’re interested. It’s a Yuri but it’s a well done drama too.

Miyamura might have some difficult time to act like a jerk and a sadist at the same time in order to satisfy Hori's fetish. At the very least, he did this in order to prove his romantic affection towards her and getting rid the chances of his former middle school bullies to mess with him ever again.
The fact he don't like doing it is what Hori crave, she like it BECAUSE she know he would never do it to her sincerely.
And I'm sure the "aftercare" is also worth it because Miyamura must feel so guilty that he is doing his best to compensate the rough play with lots of love !
