I love how Dan was worried about Kokichi being dead and Arin was celebrating Kokichi being dead until the reveal he was alive brought them to the exact same emotion: Crippling Disappointment.
I've watched Game Grumps for a large portion of it's existence. But when it came to them playing Danganronpa 1 & 2, the game didn't appeal to me. So I never watched them, and around that time I knew nothing about the Danganronpa franchise. It wasn't until Long Series Weekend and their start to Danganronpa V3 that reeled me into the franchise, and man what a way to get introduced to it. Now I see the appeal to it and the insane chaos, so much so that my impatience made me see the rest of the game for what it was about. Making me want to see their POV through the rest of the game. I have Dan & Arin to thank for this wonderful introduction. P.S.: I also give thanks to them for being me into the introduction of the Ace Attorney franchise. 💙
I see in chapter 1 with the lie bullet makes sense because Kaede lied to defend Shuichi, but Shuichi using lie bullets to reveal the truth chapters 2-5 never made sense to me for years now because of functionality. Except chapter 4 which makes sense.
Love how Dan and Arin keep joking about Tsumugi having no purpose in the game. They have _no_ idea... 😏 Also, I'm really hoping they don't start skipping all the free time events again. They miss a lot when they do that.
Spoilers ahead, but underwhelming chapter (not the grumps, they were fine). The killer should've been Kaito after that gut punch from Angie. He didn't help at all with the trial (and yes now we know why, but felt like a cop out to have kiyo kill BOTH people. It would've been more interesting if he killed tenko but Kaito killed Angie, because then you would've have a killer who wasted his good plan)
