Dredg fan many years. My friends bands opened for them in the early 2000’s. I’ve seen them probably 20 times including New Year’s Eve at the Roxy in Hollywood in 2006 (if I recall). This is a great video and one of their best songs!
This proves Mark Engles's genius perfectly. That guy writes some of the most beautiful, gut-wrenching guitar parts I've ever heard. Oh, I almost forgot: your playing is awesome, Mike! Love the energy!
Mark Engels really pushed the boat out on this song. I used to play all the double time tremelo picked parts up the other end of the board with the open E as a drone, sounds fantastic.

No offense, but please DO NOT act like everything after El Celio is their best when they are so good on every album. Pariah album is my favorite but don't be a dick because they have many reasons why they excel musically beyond their piers in general. None of their albums in particular are bad, in fact, I feel like they are exceptional in so many ways that they might be one of the best bands in the past 20 years.

Dude, dredg is one of my fav bands. Saw them live a few times, Gavin was ridiculously good.
