  • First time using Power Rake (KP540) to cutout pot holes in a gravel driveway. This video was filmed in May of 2021 with a GoPro Hero 8.

    Its something about driveway repairs that get me everytime. It is the instant satisfaction of seeing it fixed immediately, and then the process of using the Ventrac which is the best peice of equipment out there. I simply love watching this process happen!

      Thanks! Yes, its quite enjoyable. Where were located its been HOT and DRY for the past two months. Since the beginning of June our daily highs have been 90+ with little rain. Yesterday it was a sweltering 107 degrees. Some areas not far from us have received rain fairly steadily throughout the summer and the grass is pretty green. My father and I watch your videos as well. Thanks for watching!

    Why didn't you have the side blades down since you were filling in the low spots? Having them down would have kept more gravel in front of the power rake and could have saved you some passes.

      He wanted to move/windrow the material from side to side, which the side shields wouldn't have really allowed that. Some of it is personal preference and some of it is experience. Thanks for watching!
