Unreal Engine 2.5D Beat'em up game

I'm a huge fan of MK seria, and a lot of inspire I took from this games. Also I just finished Shaolin Monks, and realized, I want more games in this universe. This just my imagination how it can be.

I really like the style of it plus the new camera perspective is great adds the new style of (hint hint) element get it haha love it but I might start my own mk project as well using ue5 but 5.3 and not make a 2d version of the game as always but wouldn't be awesome if there was one like say a proper 3d arena fighter I know deception Armageddon and the others were great but seeing it with unreal graphics would feel like a movie

What is a 5.3? Tbh i always thought the MK game should have 3d movement like tekken. Idk if it would be applicable for 2.5d or something but i always thought the ability to dodge attacks would be beneficial in a game like mortal kombat.

I use trace boxes for hits and collision capsules on characters for taking damage
