I felt seen by that phrase hahahaha. I always let people know I'm gay in KPop spaces because tons of fans are still so homophobic and, even though I get hated on constantly, I will keep on doing it until people stop finding it weird or to "stop bringing it up" to conversations 😌💖
That's so true for me as well, i hid for so long that i can't stand hiding a second longer so i want everyone to know i'm gay immediately lol

Can you tell me what has been happening?
A few months ago, he was punched in the face by a violent homophobe while he was in Itaewon with his manager. 😢 I’m still fairly new to his fandom myself, but I know that being an openly gay idol in Korea is kind of dangerous because it is a very conservative, homophobic society. So I am very proud and have a lot of respect for him for representing the LGBT community in South Korea.
@@michelleyarmolinsky77 wtf that's awful. Even if the country is conservative, I hope people can think for themselves and realize how unfair this is. If everyone learned to be respectful and accept eachother with an open mind the world would be a much nicer place to live.
@@ephxphany2346 Yeah but the agressor was taken by the police for another affaire (including violance and alcool) the SAME night and in the SAME police office as the one where Holland was filing his plaint and could be identified by him immediatly ! So life can be hard but fortunatly some times the wheel spins...

I NEEDED THAT. I follow Holland since a year after his debut and he is an incredible person and influence for me. thank you so much for bringing it here! This podcast is the best I've ever seen, seriously! Junny (I'm addicted more than usual lately to your songs), Peniel (i love you SO bad) and the girl i still don't know (ashley, you're amazing and i think i love you already) but i'm going to find out about why i loved her have incredible energy and are super understanding, sweet and sincere.

I met Holland accidentally at a 7/11 in Seoul and he was so kind and genuine 💖 I wish him nothing but success 😊
When he said he was more lucky than talented to get into a prestigious art college, I felt that in my soul. I studied in a famous film school and always felt it was more a matter of luck and stars aligning that I ever got excepted.

I love seeing Holland doing an interview in Korean, he can be so much more relaxed and his personality shines even more.
In the most respectful way possible, Junny looked very cute this episode. Holland might be my favorite guest from this season. I don't think I've laughed this much in a while. I loved his honesty, ashley put it best: I loved his energy. I heard of him a few years ago, but I'll have to go check out all his music now
I've known Holland since debut and did not expect him to gain popularity after such a long time, I thought people forgot about him, so seeing him here and there these days makes me really proud💕

Holland is so down to earth. He said he hates waiting but admitted he got mad when he had to wait. Made me laugh. The whole interview was like this. So completely straightforward. It was so relaxing and comforting. I’d like to have him for a friend.

I'm not usually a very patient person. This means i don't really watch interviews and stuff that exceed maximum 10 minutes. So when i started watching this, i though i would see what it is and flee. But when i stopped watching it, it was already over. I love how this interview was more like a conversation between actual people. It made me feel included as i felt like they were talking to me.
I Found Holland when he first debuted and I started sobbing. I was in i think middle school and at the time was struggling with coming out at school and peoples not so great responses. To this day I’m still greatful for Holland, he means a lot to me lol.
Finally people are opening a path for Holland which he deserved way back. You have done a really really great job love, i am really really proud of you for coming so far. Your music makes me happy and lively so keep doing what you love!
