This is great! Do you plan on doing any videos discussing singularities in FEM or maybe how mode shapes are used in dynamic analysis? I think that would be very interesting.
Great Video! I am trying to create a full strain field of the structural element from the 1 dimensional strain sensor readings, is there a possibility to transform those tangential strain readings into normal strains in 3d or even 2d?
Nice video but you without the caveat that you are only talking about the " infinitesimal strain" you are misleading your viewers. Try using your definition of strain for the displacement corresponding to a simple rotation. You will get nonsense. Please be careful about your definitions.
Hi, 👋 this video is part of a series of videos on continuum mechanics. I try to make the videos self-comprehensive but sometimes the context of the previous videos matters. In the previous video in the series I comment on the small strain assumption. :)
Really awesome!
@@carlosgiovanardi8197 Thanks! :)
This great stuff and only 811 subs is a crime.
Thank you so much, Nick!! :)
Channel is new. But once people will know about it, growth will be exponential.
Thank you so much for such great videos. Pls keep making it and helping us students to learn more from you. This channel will grow lije crazy.
@@stitaswain7349 Thanks :)
wow, this is imensely helpful. very good animations and didatics, thanks man!
Man, your videos are great
Great stuff! Thank you.
Thanks, appreciate!
I have subscribed your channel. Keep uploading videos. Your content is amazing. You will reap the fruit one day.
Thanks for the support :D more videos are in the pipeline!
How are you simulating the deformations?? That is incredible!😊
Hey, I do all the simulations with Fenics :)
Nice Explanation.♥♥
Thanks Hamza!
Great video man.
Sir, what a fantastic video. please explain the deviatoric stress matrix and invariants also

Thanks, Max! A video on mode shapes would be cool, because they can be visualized nicely. :D I will consider it!
