  • What is your rule of life?
Each and every person is following some sort of rule, whether consciously or unconsciously. In this episode, host Jay Y. Kim converses with esteemed teacher and author John Mark Comer to unpack this concept and to pursue what it means to follow a generative rule of life in our hurried, modern context.
Kim and Comer also discuss Comer’s recent book "Practicing the Way," in which he issues a timely call to reorient our lives around the person and teachings of Jesus. Together, they also offer profound reflections on the ways in which offering undivided attention is the highest form of demonstrating love to others. Finally, Comer challenges listeners to pursue curiosities and doubts alongside our community as opposed to traveling on our spiritual pathways alone.
This is a fascinating episode that explores the nonlinear journey of spiritual formation in a busy and distracted age, the weight of holistic listening, and the essential work of pursuing love and focus in our everyday lives and communities.
