i just installed these on my e46 You can defenitly go way lower just remove the perch in all... Also that rubber gaurment you pulled off with the stock spring
is supposed to go back on top of the spring not the adjustment washer.. Keep The e46 content coming 🙂💯

Dark matte bronze would look sick
You can rebuild those wheels. Theyre 2 piece bbs. throw the hardware in a tumbler and theyll polsh up good. Strip and polish the lips and paint the faces. Those wheels are some what hard to come by. Fully built set will bring a pretty penny if you choose to sell them. So for less than 200 and your hard work you can have a killer set of wheels that can sell for over a grand. that 200 includes the tumbler and material, paint stripper and the paint.
Love the E46 content 💯 It looks damn good sitting on the coilovers! Also I agree with you on keeping the rear just a tiny bit higher than the front, that's how I did it on my E46 coupe, gives it a really on the nose, aggressive look. If you paint the wheels I also agree with going black and murdering it out. That would look clean af! I really like the oem style #44 wheels that are currently on the car, hoping you give them a chance on the car with some spacers and extended bolts/studs.
The little collars on the front coils are for the sway bars.
and as an avid E36 guy. and 46. set the rears to 1-5 clicks from FULL SOFT. (soft is the way.)
i have my fronts pretty dang stiff though. i went full stiff and removed a click at a time until the car stopped understeering.
i believe it was between 3-5 clicks from full HARD

Be easy on that rear end and turn those shocks down to full soft , these cars are notorious for subframe cracking issues . I’d take a look at yours & make sure it’s good 👍
The black on white wheels is always a go too! That’s or the black on black would look fire too 🔥
I’d do the wheels in a space gray/gun metal type color.
Also the top hats on the front never line up. i have some high dollar coils on my car and they are hardly adjustable LOL.
you measure how much camber you need. take the coil off set the camber amount and bolt them back up.
they arent "easily" adjustable. and actually those maxpeedrods adjustability is one of the better ones ive seen.

If you want to go lower on the rear take out the bottom ring from the spring adjustment cup 🤙🏽

I would go with s dark grey gunmetal color. Make sure you get the correct extended bolts conical/ball seat that go with the wheels. Keep up the good work

Do a wheel stud conversion. Its pretty cheap and they have them different lengths to compensate for spacers. I have them on my E30 and they are great for at the track when i have to swap tires ! 👌🏻
Ain't no such thing as to low lol. Parts may break but it's part of it. Broke the tie bar brace off my car few weeks ago. Didn't have enough air n the rear when I went to pull out the yard
What about Hammered Copper for the wheels? Makes them stand out a bit without being too flashy, goes well with black as well

Well you killed my idea right away lmao I was gonna say polish the lip and paint the center. I would love to see them polished! But with the fake rivs it makes it wayy harder. So with that being said I think either silver to like bring them back to life without changing the look or like a copperish bronze or hell even gold would look pretty dope. Too many choices so I understand your dilemma lol I'm right there with you bro 🤣 #OGDBFAM

Personally I'd say some kind of a darker gray color or graphite but maybe al black or bronze since they're pretty popular these days & might help the re-sell value a bit. You should try to tint the car yourself.

I really think a nice gunmetal or bronze but if you did put some time on them polishing them would be sick too also sometimes a dark blue looks good against black as well
Just a tip.never tighten any bushings until ths cars on the ground or u will destroy bushings and it will ride rough

They do make conversion kits so you can put lug nuts on instead of the lug bolts

So what about this idea... if you have leftover paint from khaki. Paint the wheels khaki and the front grill trim bezel to match. Just a thought. It's different and not over done black on black.🙏

had the same car with same wheels i lowered put 15mm spacers front and rear and painted the wheels for satin black it looked cool and the spacers made him more muscles just sayin
