in case no one caught it, the monsters you fight in the cave in Amore is a little reference to FF8. Those monsters are a boss fight where you can draw Carbuncle off them.
It's near the end of Disc 1 after Edea KOed Rinoa then 2 statues came alive (Iguions) when Squall tried to saved her.
My first summon in a long time and its exdeath, not really relevant to the video but was pumped to get him 😃. And the videos were out fast this time, dont have units to be able to do the trial but it was a great video 👌

The monsters you fight when you enter the cave, are exactly the same monsters you draw cabuncle from in final fantasy 8!

time to hit story mode again. I haven't touched it since the last update, due to being insanely busy with BF Grind event, Maxwell Conquest (TY again for your guide ^_^) and get my PvP past the 400-500 rank range. This new PvP is insane, no healing at all! >.
its a shit, worse encounter i've had its: First round enemy gets first turn, 2 osmosed me, then a luneth with splendor and some dagger i dont remember does Hit All and either blinds or sleeps my entire party.. Second round the same 2 more osmoses and more bad statuses. Basically the one who hits first has 80% chance of winning.
Kifitox basically, no point having healers at all with dumb work around accessories.
Yep, a DPS and rest of mages chaining works best, and pray to get first turn. xD
only healing you get is from limits anyway....
and that's if the match lasts long enough...
Protip: in the upcoming FF type zero grind event, summon carbuncle on the last boss, cast a single Thundaga on your team and the spell will proc on all your 6 reflected units, multiplying the damage by 6. Easy oneshot for the farming.

other than that, you can get a large batch of them from the weekly bundle (not entirely worth it IMO).
best grind place if you don't mind the energy use is definitely explorations though. chamber of crystals isn't worth it much either (nor is majority of the desires section worth it)

I hear everywhere that tilith becomes the healer meta when she has 6 star. refia will outclass her til then, but even right now, tilith has some good stuff that can make her quite usuable (like that curaja - esuna fusion she has for a move)

Hey Claic, if you primarily run a melee team, should we replace ramuh with shiva then if carbuncle will be equipped to our healers? shiva has better physical dmg stats
Yes, higher physical attack boost to physical damage dealers.
Im struggling to get through boss fights as I'm not getting good pulls plus finding it hard to get good gear coz my guys aint strong

Is there a way to get the -ara spells without taking the normal ones (i.e. Barblizzard) because they kind of get in the way and make your characters worse for pvp (And also end up costing you a few stat points)
Ramon Blanco Blanco you can find the recipes of barthundara barfira barwatera and barblizarra but ı dont about the others
Does carbuncle effect healing?!? Will casting cure-a-ja-ga or buffs be reflected to?
WckD FnG I've done a few tests myself and yes, Reflect will also reflect heals back at the enemy, HOWEVER, Reflect will only last for 1 spell, so if you everyone got hit with a Thundaga or something then it's gone and you can heal. Also, if there's one enemy and cast an AoE spell on your team with Reflect on, it will bounce the spell to the enemy for each unit in your party. It sounds complicated but it's a lot of fun to play around with ;)

carbuncle isn't even worth levelling for me. basically the same stats as shiva, no new spells except for bar* which you have call of duty for. you're basically levelling for the reflect. if you have espers maxed, you should of course consider throwing your megacite at her. i don't grind esper food enough to have my espers maxed, so i won't even bother getting her until they are maxed.
btw first try on gilgamesh: got him to 5% hp. feels bad man.
cod will eventually be outclassed in damage. even though omniveil is awesome, i would rather a healer be wasting turns setting up prot spells than my cod. and if you want to say well why not just put on bar materias? those slots could be occupied by materia like dual wield, duel cast, stats etc. im definitely getting those spells on carbuncle.

Do you have any recommended areas for farming litrock/ heaven's dust? though i have been playing for a good 2 months now and have a couple of 6 star units, there are a couple that i'm trying to level up currently from 4-5 star then 6, including cecil, but he needs like 25 litrocks or something to awaken. I'm having a hard time finding large quantities of litrocks for him so any help or info on a good grinding spot would be appreciated!
The Poke' Mafia check the wiki out, think for litrock it was the exploration in the 2nd map 'highland' something. All info u need is on the wiki. Just before you get shiva

Sadly that and a few other's are not the optimal place to farm Litrock. To get the most & fast, just go to Ifrit's location: Grandshelt Isles>Inferno Hollow>Entrance or Flaming Road and you will usually get 1-3 per run (with the odd dry run here and there) but definitely worth it, just auto and you'll have it in no time!Enjoy!

I figured as much. i'm still just starting the 3rd continent but I focused so much on shiva and siren cause they were my only two espers for a while.
I tried to make choices I thought was good just to be safe. now i'm glad I did

crystal event. but claic maxed them out during that insane orbonne event that pumped out so many megacrysts lol so he probably had a bunch lying around.

TheMalcomrj green are neutral. no bonus to any esper. you can find a lot in phantom forest.

Late reply but yes it does you'll bounce it to the boss or whatever Monster you're up against so be careful.
shiva is better than diabolos why did you remove her
Thelegend 27 Shiva and Diabolos does two different things.
Diabolos has killer effects and skills good for a physical team while Shiva is basically a mage esper.

Use memu right now. It's the best one to use because right now FFBE doesn't work on Nox for some reason for most people.
Showgingah Nox's actually been working as it was months ago for a couple of weeks now
It also works on Bluestacks now which is safer and alot smoother . . .
Carbuncle seems terrible! Maybe good for a specific event or fight, but I won't be leveling her. Reflect on your party = no heals..... All the Bar spells are worthless now.
The Spirit seems good though...
why would you summon her or any other esper? their damage sucks. its all about the skills and stats.
