Hi DJ Gerry Thanks For Video Fantastic STONES ...... Greetings from Evi Germany Bye 👍👏👍👏
Hi Evi, it is always a pleasure to read your comments!! You are a very devoted Rolling Stones fan and an extremely kind person!! Happy holidays to you and your family!! 🤗
Thank you so much, DJ Gerry. I am Happy Weekend. Bye Evi Germany 👉💯♥️💯🎸💯👉 STONES 👏👍
Hey Stones, I'M still listening. You crazy kids. Keep Rockin. Peace everyone.
Thank you! This channel has provided comfort to me in this current crazy environment!
Hi David, it is great to have you aboard, my dear friend!!😎👍
@@DJGerryfromStarlightMusic WOW! Feel like I'm communicating with an actual rockstar! I've watched your videos thru out the Stones '21 tour. You helped me thru Charlie's death, which almost felt like an immediate family member dieing. I've been a Stones/classic rock nut since they played two dates in my hometown of Boulder in '81. All my life I've been surrounded by people who aren't particularly fond of them and it is so refreshing to hear from fellow Stones fans! Please keep it up!!!
@@DavidGutierrez-ib7rg Hi David, 1981 was the first year that I saw the Stones in concert too. It was a life changing experience!! It is a pleasure to hear from a true Rolling Stones fan like yourself. Many blessings to you!!
@@DJGerryfromStarlightMusic Awesome! I was 12 years old and a Bee Gees fan. I could hear the concert from my front yard and that piqued my interest. I rode my bike to Rocky Mountain Records and Tapes and bought Tattoo You with allowance money. My parents were of the WWII generation and were horrified at my newfound interest in rock music. I feel there are better bands, musically, but my absolute love and affection for these guys individually will never waiver. Last saw them at Mile High Stadium in Denver 8-10-19. Unbelievable! As pathetic as it may sound, probably the BEST DAY of my adult life! Thank you SO, SO MUCH!!!
Deepest sympathy to the Watts family on the loss of Charlie may he rest in god's grace
I check every day for some new tid bits that you bring us fans.its exciting the waiting time. Thanks again sir dj gerry
Hi Colette,
It is a great to know that true Rolling Stones fans like you are out there!!
It is always a pleasure to hear from you!!
Thanks for this, Gerry. I was hoping since Charlie's passing that they'd all go over after the US tour (since the plane was all gassed up and everyone was already together) to pay their respects in person to Charlie and his family. It just made so much sense to do it that way. Mick, during the last tour show, alluded to travelling in the next couple days after the gig, and now we know why. A fitting musical tribute.💞 🥁 🕊️
It's more than a coincidence that they perform at Ronnie Scott's. I have the album Watts at Scott's. Charlie performed his Jazz there. This is a wonderful venue to be close and honor Charlie!
Yes, I have that as well. Legendary spot!
Charlie would have loved that, and, back on home ground.

Happy Christmas everyone 🎅🎅🎅
You are very astute. Ronnie Scott’s was one of Charlie Watts favorite Jazz clubs!!
Charlie 🙏🥁👉❤️.. Wonderful tribute.. Greetings Tanja
So true!! It was held at one of Charlie’s favorite Jazz clubs. 🤗
So nice to hear a private tribute to Charlie occurred. Very touching for the family and close friends. I’ll miss Charlie and I wish I had the chance to meet in person. Our lives go on but a piece is missing.
Very well stated, my friend!!
Thank you. This is great. Wish there was a little more footage. I saw them in Sir Morgan's Cove years ago ('81). It's great they play small venues.
Thanks, I will keep searching for more footage of this secret show. I am sure that something will surface soon!!
Thanks for you coverage, it's greatly appreciated!
btw Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in Soho was the perfect choice by Mick & Keith.
In the mid 1980's I saw Charlie's huge Jazz Orchestra play there. Phenomenal night, it's an intimate place!
The previous night Mick & Keith had turned up to watch their amazing friend doing his stuff!
Thanks so much to D J Gerry for all your great reports from the Stones tour, and now this tribute concert. This means so much to us fans.
You made my day with your positive vibes Sidney!! You are awesome!! 😎
I’m way down under in New Zealand, and I look forward to getting clips from you about the greatest rock/blues band in the world! Followed them since 1964 right thru, now just a young feelin, groovin older lady, who rocks with the Stones, especially Keith, my idol! 🙋♀️😆💜
Hi Rosemary, it was great to hear from a true fan like you m!! 🤗
I used to go to the station hotel Richmond ,early sixties, also the eel pie island,I stones did all blues back then, great times,i miss those days,I also live in NZ now
Hi Gerry Thanks for your post. Loves from Lisbon Portugal. & have nice Christmas too!
Happy holidays to you too Rui!! Many holiday blessings and love to you to my friend!!😎👍
Love em, their class can’t be matched!
So true, Sandy!!
I saw the Rolling Stones on this current (NO Filter) tour and personally thought that they sounded very good. They had plenty of energy, more than some bands much younger. Still on top of their game, and showed class in the tribute to Charlie.
I agree with you 110%. They are extremely inspiring super heroes of music!!
Saw the no filter concert as well I thought it was great!
Chuck Levelle said in May he thinks there will be shows to celebrate 60 years and Keith sounds like he wantsa shot at playing Livin in the heart of love
Thanks for the Stones update!! Let’s keep our fingers crossed.
I hope they do it, really ! I have gone through many emotions since the boys have aged and never foresaw them still out there, but here we are.
A ROLLING STONE GATHERS MOSS ' , if it ain't rolling !
if it IS rolling
The 60 years may be commemorate with ALL in the HEARTS of love 'cause millions of FANS around the planet waitting for this! WITH Bill Wyman and Mick Taylor on tour and on stage!
You are the best DJ Gerry....can't thank you enough.
Thank you so much for your positive vibes Barbara. You are awesome!!
Great video Gerry, 😊 thank you.
Thanks Mike!! You are very welcome!!🤗
Thanks for this report. I hope Shirley was there. God it is hard to believe Bill just turned 85 (!!!). The Tattoo You bonus disc imo actually resonates like a cohesive new Stones album thematically, with thanks to the recent work by Mick Ron and Charlie...and I am still hoping for the studio album they have supposedly been working on since Blue and Lonesome. Charlie fans if you havent already check out on youtube the video Stan Levey meets Charlie Watts. Stan was the great jazz drummer from the 40s worked w/Parker, Miles, Diz and others.Charlie and Jim Keltner visit him at home and it is wonderful to see these legends hanging out, especially with Stan and Charlie now gone...
Thank you, Gerry! I'm loving your videos.
Hi David, I am so glad that you are enjoying these videos!! You Rock, my friend!!
Once again an excellent post! Thanks DJ Gerry, you rock!
Hi Dirk, I am very glad that you got to see this video!! All the best of everything to be, my friend!!
I love the video and I thanks you for sharing it so much love love it thanks again
RIP charlie watts 💕 legendary rolling stones ❣️ always
Thanks Gerry im from New Zealand and I had the pleasure of seeing Jack Bruce from Cream do a gig at Ronnie Scotts in 2011. I also had the pleasure of saying gidday to Charlie and Bobby Keys in Auckland outside their hotel during the Bigger Band Tour. They were both absolute gents. All 3 of these guys incl Jack have gone. Keep the news coming Cheers Andrew.
Hi Andrew, you saw some legendary concerts at Ronnie Scotts. Thank you for sharing!!
Wow wouldn’t that have been so awesome!
Keith and Ronnie made videos thanking the fans for the tour and saying they're looking forward for more, so I believe they will tour again next year, especially because it'll be the band's 60th anniversary
Very good points, I am hopeful that we will get more live Stones concerts in 2022!!
@@DJGerryfromStarlightMusic I'm a bit worried about Ronnie, he looks fatigued. The touring may be hitting him a bit harder than Mick or Keith.
What an amazing night of music it had to have been! Hopefully this keeps them juiced for a 60th anniversary victory lap!
Wow so hot, thanks for sharing, it's surely emotional time for all stones, but I hope the come to Europe, if love to rock with them again, ♥️♥️♥️
Hi Dani, I hope that you get to see The Rolling Stones in concert soon!!
Indeed!!
Keep on rockin’, DJ Gerry, and
Thanks!!
You too my dear friend!!
It really would have been nice to see Bill Wyman play with the stones and maybe even Mick Taylor pay tribute. But I guess you can't always get what you want.
Bill Wyman is 85 years old. Does he still do public shows with his jazz band? I believe he is unofficially retired.
That is one of the reasons Mick, Keith and Ronnie should tour one last time, sooner than later. At some point ,the energy just ain't there, playing for even 90 minutes on stage is not professionally feasible. You see now, Mick needs three, four days off between gigs to physically recover and prepare for the next gig where he sings 15-16 songs.
It looks like they will do 10- 12 European stadium shows next summer.
And that just could be it.
Considering their age, it's natural for the Stones to slow down in order to continue touring. Especially Mick, who has a more physical performance than the others. As for Bill, it looks like he too has had to deal with or is still battling cancer lately.
Incredible. Thank you !!
Thanks for sharing, DJ Gerry :) pls update us for future happenings
Hi Grace, I will keep a watchful eye for new music news. Feel free to message me if you hear anything. 😎
It must have been great. Wish I was there. Perhaps someday they will release something about it. Being it was a private maybe it should remain this way in honour of The Stones and The Watts Family. 💜
Wowww Good to see you Bill!!!!
I would love to see Bill play with the Stones again!!
THANKS -I know its only rock n roll but I like it, like it, yes I do x
You have great taste in music!!
Well, all RIGHT !!! you little Elvis impersonator !!! Right ON, Big Guy !!! Love from Houston, TX !!!❤️
Right back atcha Millie!!
@@DJGerryfromStarlightMusic DANG, Gerry !! This is indeed high praise, and I feel very honored that you have interacted with me. Truly. Do I understand correctly that you have an office in Houston ?
@@DJGerryfromStarlightMusic The merriest of Christmases to you, Gerry !! and stay safe. I bet the Stones really like and trust you.
Next year I think the Stones should replay all the venues that they played in 1964 that way I can see them at my smaller local town theatre. Selfishness I know 🎵🎵
Interesting idea. I would love to see them in a small venue!!
In that case they would be playing in my home town on a demolition site made into a car park. I saw them at the Winter Gardens in Bournemouth in February 1964, aged 16 and still at school. The Winter Gardens, a superb venue, was knocked down by the local council and is now a car park awaiting new development, probably another big hotel or apartment block. Sad. I last saw them, three times, here in UK in 2018 and look forward to them coming back next year when NOTHING will stop me seeing them again! Rolling on with the Stones and still loving that band.
Gorgeous tribute to Charlie 🥁Ronnie Scott’s perfect
Rock in Peace Charlie Watts. Such a beautiful tribute by your old Chums.
Another great video! They're really doin it up, huh? GOOD ON EM✊ GOOD on You, Too❤ ThanQ 🍀
Thank you for the positive vibes, my friend!!
Thank you thank you 🙇
My pleasure Alesia..You are awesome!!
The Stones are Stoners....Mick is a legend in his own mind...
Maybe they are just figments of our collective imaginations!! 😅
This was cool ! Thanks !
Hey guys out of respect DON'T post any vids/pics from this gig. Honour Charlie and his family. The lads asked specifically that no-one bring phones. Do the right thing please. We are the greatest fans of the greatest band in eternity.
Was so glad to hear Lisa was there. Onya Steve Jordan - We love you of course we do + all the musicians roadies family and friends who keep the band rocking.
Thanks Keith I just sent my son Wicked as it Seems vid to help him out of a tough time. It worked! He thinks you're almost as cool as his dad too ( just kidding lol)
Mick my lad can you please please slow down I'm not even 60 yet and I can't match your energy no more. Bloody Lucifer Rising and Performing still.
Love to Charlie's family and best wishes to Bill and the other Mick - hope you were there. Thanks Brian for starting all this.
Peace and Love humans pls don't post anything. RESPECT yer elders lol
DJ Gerry , thank you so much for this update ---- I was wondering what the boys were doing about honoring Charlie once they went their separate ways after the Florida Hard Rock show. I've been reading everything about it.
And , of course , DJ Gerry came through for us !
Also , I so appreciate your videos of the 2021 No Filter tour and the chat streams.I know it had to have been difficult and costly for you and DJ Dallas --- Thank Dallas for me too.
I think there will soon be a new addition to the Rolling Stones' family ( and I'm not talking about Steve Jordan ! ) .I was looking at photos Mick and his Significant- Other took of themselves relaxing on Miami Beach and I noticed something important that perhaps only a woman would notice at this point. Wow !
Anyway , I hope you have a great Holiday Season and here's hoping for a Rolling Stones 60th Anniversary Tour in the New Year !
Love, Sharon in South Florida.
Hi Sharon,
Thank you so much for your thoughtful and informative message. Getting to know true Rolling Stones fans like you, make it all worthwhile m.
Much love and holiday blessings to you and your family!! 🤗
Damn, Mick. Your fish still swim!
Hi Sharon! Do you mean that another little Mick is already on the way?)))
very cool
I too want to thank you DJ Gerry 😘 I know it probably was costly and very time consuming for you to interpret and get back to the fans through TH-cam regarding the Rolling Stones tour of 2021. I just want you to know that I as many others really appreciate your hard work and all that you endeavored to do to make it so that we at home during this covid season still on the fans could get a good idea of how the show went and just feel good listening to the Rolling Stones perform. Happy holidays and thank you again so much 🎄✨🎄✨💯
Nice🙏 Thanks for sharing🙏🙏
I dunno. i tend to think it is actually an easy decision for them. Charlie CLEARLY wanted them to go on without him. And, if they are up to playing and carrying on and want to themselves which they seem to be then the decision is pretty easy i think. Honestly i had more concerns at the start of the tour mostly about Keith. He was struggling a LOT to play with his fingers and hands being in the condition they are. They seem though to have made it thru ok and actually as the shows progressed sounded pretty good. Ronnie is such a great guitarist as well and he can do a lot of fills for keith so it all works out ok still. In any event..after decades of attending their concerts ....my first one being in 1975 and so many since... i decided to make 2019 be my last. I sort of felt then that age was catching up to them and either one or more wouldnt then be around OR musically i'd wind up disapointed. I've played guitar myself for 53 years and i felt even in 2019 that things were starting to deteriorate somewhat. Even with Ronnie. I think its VERY noticable to go back to 2015 and compare his midnight rambler with a show today. I decided with the utmost respect for them still to call it quits and just go back and relisten to the decades of albums and music they did. Honestly, i think they could get away with a concert where they did nothing but come out and TALK for 2 1/2 hours. I recall that exhibitionism event they had and mick and ronnie walking thru just talking about old photos. FASCINATING. I just didnt want to see them come out and struggle trying to be what they couldnt be anymore musicially. oddly enough though..they might have fooled me :) Anyways...DJ GERRY (and son). Love your channel. Your streams and commentary are 1st rate for us stones lovers . Happy Holidays :)
Hi, thank you for your well supported comments and for all your encouragement. The Stones never cease to amaze me. Hopefully, they can still pull off at least one more tour. They are truly loved and appreciated by millions around the world!!
How awesome it would have been to have seen this!!
So Bill Wyman did not play? Wonder why? It’s still cool that he was there…but, man! I’d love to hear him rock it w the lads, again!
I can assure you, that after being a Stones man music lover for over 55 years, and knowing how they think and feel about their legacy, there will be a 60's years RS tour..a great one. You don't become the only music institution of the 20th century..and ignore your 60th birthday. Wouldn't surprise, if Bill and others, still kicking around, join RS at diy your dates.
Hi Ross, your statements are extremely well founded in historical Precedents!!
Millions of fans would love to see them in concert!!
JUMPIN JACK FLASH!!🎸🎸🎵🎼🎶
Thanks DJ Jerry that is cooool.
Hi Greg, My pleasure. Thanks for watching!!
Thanks, D J Gerry!!!
Very nice tribute!
Thank you for your eternal support!!
The best ever😊
Love your show
Love having you aboard, my friend!!
As a performer, one doesn't always have to do everything for everybody else... sometimes, its's a matter of a little something for yourself and the music of the people making it... KDM
I would have loved to have been in attendance. RIP Charlie
That’s close to the original stones as you can get. Bill WYMAN mick. Jagger Keith Richards Ron wood.
Nice for Charlie. Classy. Support for Steve Jordan from the family and the band was great. Even though Mr. Jordan had worked for Letterman and Keith's Winos, and is a very fine musician, I'm sure he had some apprehension. I knew a neighbor of Steve's. A good person.
Wooohoooo!!
why are the band so mean to Bill ? He contributed a lot alongside Charlie .
I would love to hear the real back story that they are all covering up.
A not asked for opinion: the Stones may do some small 60 years celebration tour but they have to step up the game a bit. Resuscitate Bill Wyman for the role as bassist, add Mick Taylor as to ensure we hear some guitar playing and invite the former bassist Dick Taylor to play something with them, be that guitar, bass or foot tapping. Ron Wood shall pull out some back vocals, he can do that along with playing guitar as we have clearly seen.
That is a good game plan. I would love to see Wyman and Taylor back in the band!!
They should do the right thing and stop now that Charlie is gone. Honor him by saying its not the Stones without him. Because that is the truth. Ive been to over a dozen shows since 81 But I would never pay the huge money it costs to see them without Charlie Watts. 60th anniversary shows with two original members? This is not the Beach Boys. Steve Jordan does not fit in as a drummer. The songs are suffering big time with his crap, bland playing.
A friend couldn't make it to the Stone's 50th anniversary tour . I just said ": Don't worry you' can see them at their 60th " 😎
What I'd like (and have for about five plus years) is an all new studio album. Blue & Lonesome was simply fabulous .. very special... I was taken back by it... however I do wish they would finally finish this studio album they have been grinding off and on for five or six years (technically six years this month).
wow mc jagger watching my friend
Hi Glenda, Thanks for watching. You Rock!!
WAY COOL!!!
They will need to tour to promote new album
☆Sweet☆
🚀🚀🚀
I know that had to be secret, can you imagine the fans if they knew about this.
Bet that Gig at Ronnie Scott's was a goo one .
If it was so secret how come so many people turned up for it?
I remember Keith saying "Charlie is the engine, & we don't go anywhere without the engine"!
Imo...I don't think they'll do a 60th anniversary tour.
I think you may be right.
It was Ronnie who said that in this very documentary for their 40 licks tour.
Steve Jordan is a Great fit for the band as much as I love Charlie.
I think in their age they might take it day by day…
whats the point of this without the music,?
Inquiring minds gotta know. Let me know if you find out about any secret recordings.
I am still struggling to see what all this has got to do with jazz! Perhaps I am being naive, but isn't a jazz club the wrong place for Rolling Stones music!
top!!!!!
If the Rolling Stones was a hockey club, who would play goalie?
A man paid the stones $3 million dollars to play a private show at our local music pub “ The Belly Up Tavern “
ONE DAY I WAS COOKING SOME PINTO BEANS.I SET THE SPOON DOWN ON A WHITE CLASS PLATE.WHEN I PICK THE SPOON UP IT LEFT THE SHADOW OF THE MOUTH AND TOUNG.IM GOING TO DIG IT OUT AND SEE IF ITSSTILL THERE.IF IT IS IM GOING TO JULIANS AUTIONS BEV.HILLS.
At least Keith doesn't have on one of those obvious WIGS.....
It is completely natural for Charlie but since Brian, they never paid tribute to him on stage, during a concert , never even pronounced his name or showed pictures of him on concerts , or paid tribute at his anniversary, not once in 50 years!
They paid tribute to him once when he passed away and it was in 1969 but after all these years , it was like he never existed.
They even paid tribute to Ian Stewart with a whole book dedicated to him, but never Brian.
Bill!
The rolling stones👅👅👅
It's a wonderful tribute to Charlie Watts. It's just too bad that Bill Wyman had to be such a turd about this and not play with his former band mates on this special occasion.
It would be great to see them all perform together again!!
You think Bill was the turd here? There is no doubt in my mind it was the Stones not asking him to play. They let him play two songs with them in London during the 50th anniversary shows. He was prepared to do entire shows. And it was said he didnt play with his old band mates it didnt say he didnt play.
@@DJGerryfromStarlightMusic yes
Awwwe
Gotta keep working as the state pension ain't a lot. 79 next year ain't bad for old codgers maybe in rocking wheelchairs
twenty twenty one not two thousand twenty one
good to see bill wyman back for a minute. now if mick taylor would jump on board there would be some semblance of the original band-minus brian jones and charlie watts. just mick jagger and keith richards now. ronnie wood is still the new guy and darryl jones and bernard fowler are great, but not rolling stones.
For one hellish minute I thought the narrator was going to say "Jools Holland also played with them" but no he just confined his swingless clomping to " the house band ".
Oi Dj Gerry! Essa apresentação dos Stones em homenagem ao Charlie Watts deve ter sido incrível! Se alguém conseguiu filmar o Show na íntegra gostaria que pudesse disponibilizar para o You Tube!
Agradecimentos a todos! 🙏❤

@@DJGerryfromStarlightMusic Thanks DJ Gerry e a todos os fãs!! Vida Longa aos Stones!! 💖🙏✌❤💘💥💕😊
MASKS? FFS!
I truly believe the stones of 1964 to 1974 was as good as it ever got Brian Jones and then Mick Taylor days im 70 years old and to me they seem like a bad cover band of old men just my opinion
Ouch…🥶
/????
Stones died with Charlie, period.
Whatever happened to Brian Jones ? Since Brian's departure ? the Stones went down the drain ; let it bleed- stickey fingers- exile ? Mic Taylor is great ; I don't care how good you play guitar 🎸 fast, slide + doesn't mean shit 😷 because the songs are inferior ; more hot rocks is way better, tell me, she's a rainbow 🌈 ruby Tuesday and virtually all until - let it bleed - jumping Jack flash ; it's okay how they changed it, but you'd would think with Wyman's great bass, they'd do it again ? no, satisfaction ; the early fuzz guitar 🎸 is better
Thank you so very much 😘😘
Have a great weekend Brenda!! Much health, happiness and love 2 U!!
