Thank you for this! I have a report that has hundreds of thousands of rows of data and compiling everything onto one chart defeats the purpose of visualization. Being able to split the view while still viewing each chart on the full page is soooo helpful!

Thank you for this video and help! I'm in an MBA class teaching Tableau and the textbook example and directions are not working for Swapping Sheets. I'm glad I found your page Mr. Smoak 😊

Thanks for sharing! I have an MBA myself, everyone in business should have some data skills if you ask me.

Thanks so much for this video. I had been reading instructions for how to do this and could never get it to work. Others failed to mention the custom list in the filter.

I think you skipped over the container configuration which seems crucial to this process working. For me, the vertical container doesn't allow for the dynamic resizing of its contents when the parameter values are selected. The container is divided into two sections: a top and a bottom. Toggle to "A" hides B and shows A; Toggling to "B" hides A and shows B. But because they're in a vertical container, they don't overlap to give the illusion that you're changing the element. Can you explain what's going on here?
I also went to linked dashboard example, but I can't see it's configuration to answer my own question because it's been disabled.

Clutch. Before seeing this video, I completely missed selecting the option for the "Custom Value List." Thanks

Hi Anthony! Thanks so much for this. I'm having difficulty recreating the sheet swap title container (switches between "Profit vs. Budgeted Profit" and "Trending Profit"), how are you achieving this? I attempted to do another sheet swap container that contained sheets where the only value on the sheet was the desired title in the Label card, but once on the dashboard sheets within the container would never revert to 1pxl in height, so I was left with awkward whitespace.

Figured it out! You need at least one pill on the rows or columns shelf to have the worksheets resize. This can be anything, and I chose to use a calculated filed just containing " " added to the row shelf.

Can you do this with floating containers? I cannot get it to look right when adding the sheets to a container on the dashboard.

After you create parameter you need to click show parameter, I spend 30 min to figure out how to make it work
