Thank you so much, I’m an incoming freshman college student and I’m going on the plane for my first time alone. This was very helpful, I appreciate it❤️
@losalphaschannel really you should be there 3-4 hours before departure. That includes time to get in the long lines at the ticketing counter and TSA as well as time to relax at the gate until you board.
It's my first international flight, I get off at terminal 5 and I have to go through baggage customs etc. I have two hours to get to terminal 1 where my next flight will be. can I make a farce with the times? How does the baggage and customs process work?
Where is the Sky Priority Check in (First Class), for Delta. It's doesn't look to your right, when you enter. Did you see it to your left? First flight from Terminal 5.
If you look at timestamp 1:10 you will see (for just a second as I pan to he left for a moment) the red top of the the only Sky Priority sign that there is at ORD.
From what I can find TSA checkpoint #10 which is located in Terminal 5 is open 24/7, while no other checkpoints at the other terminal are open 24/7. I was able to find that on ORD's official website.
I am uncertain, but because the majority of the airlines flying out of terminal 5 are international airlines leaving the country I would suspect that those didn’t (mostly because they would require a check of applicable passports and visas depending on where they were going). Domestic airlines such as Spirit are likely to have them since their flights typically don’t leave the country or require passport checks.
Sorry if this is a silly question. My reservation says: Departure Terminal: 2 Does this mean that instead of say, going to terminal 5 like you did, I enter terminal 2 instead?
Hi, I'll arrive from Spain at terminal 5 and I have to take another flight to Las Vegas at terminal 3. How long it takes? Ther's a train from one terminal to another or just need to walk. Thank you
@montsebo7093 so it would, with customs, baggage re-claim and re-check (if the re-check is at T5) and the exit to the train (preferably exit B) to the terminal should take you between 30-45 minutes. Sometimes the re-check would be at the bag drop at terminal 3 FYI
i will be in chicago and america for the first time. I want to fly to New York with delta so if its terminal 5 i think its super stressful. Should i pay more for southwest just to depart from Chicago Midway that is smaller airport instead? (or what are all the airlines that fly to New York LGA from Chicago? I can't find other than those) Thank you
Leaving from Terminal 5 at ORD in Chicago is super easy... But if you are looking for other airlines that flies from ORD to New York, another major airline offering direct flights is United Airlines.

Very good video!
How many hours early would you recommend arriving for international flights?
At least 2 just to be on the safe side. Thanks for the comment!

@@bozy106 Thanks.....I got a deal from Delta to upgrade to First, for only $100.
Is Terminal 5 open 24/7 or do I need to enter another terminal early in the morning like 3am?

Do all of the airlines in terminal 5 have the kiosk like Delta has?

That is correct. Terminal 2 and terminal 5 are physically separate from each other.
