I just built a more minimalist hand wrapper by using a 4ft section of t-track with 3/4in dados cut into the V-holders and thread holder. One t-track knob on the thread holder, and the V-holders self align on the t-track without really needing knobs. Depending on the cost to source and ship the plywood base, using t-track *might* be cheaper.
I thought of T Track. I have it in my 4x8 rolling work bench and don't like it as much as the micro jig hardware. That's just a personal preference, though.
@@fdxcustomrods Thanks for going to the time and effort of posting all your videos. They've helped me build some basic black thread rods. Maybe I'll venture out and do some trim bands on the NFC P700-1 and SJ703-1 blanks I recently ordered for BFS and finesse rods.
I am shooting the final prototype video today as I build the first production one that is sold already. I'm planning on lots of detail in that.
