Solid little tent. Used one at an RC event in an open field. A huge storm rolled in, and due to all the lightning and wind, I slept in my car instead. Expected it to be trashed next morning, but it was still intact, and not a drop inside.
I got this tent end of 2019, and have used all summer long 2020. I did not know if it was water proof, until last month when I went camping at Appleton camp ground In Brighton, Michigan. It started raining with very high winds at 7pm, and did not stop until 9:30am! NO LEAKS! nice tent, and nice video! Thanks
I got this tent at a thrift store and it works really well. The pole for the rain fly was missing, though. I had one custom made, but I was way off on what I ordered. Can you send any information you have about the measurements? (How many segments, how long, how thick?) I know I'm asking a lot, but I can't find this information anywhere.
I think you are talking about the short pole that goes near the door. I do not have access to the tent right now. What I would do is take the rain fly to Home Depot and have them match up a wood dowel for you. They will probably even cut it to the proper length. It just needs to go from one slot to the other and be taut.
Yes, on this model, the rainfly pole goes through the sleeve. Then you bend the pole to fit into the two holes. Make sure you are using the rainfly pole and not one of the tent poles. They are different. The rainfly pole has two male ends.

I do not have access to it right now. Can you take the tent to the shop? I would not trust my measurements anyway. Haha. With the shop having the tent, they cannot say that you had the wrong measurements. It will be easier if they can measure it themselves.

So the one pole goes through the slit but then into the 2 holes? Having major trouble setting up the 6 person one of this tent the rain fly HELP

A friend gave it to me I stayed at a friend's place that had the metal bars I came back and gone so I have the tarp what to do ?
