Thankyou,I know a very little small piece of this software, and I just do a series of basic things one by one, you guys can feel that and can do that too! :)
Thickness is problematic at the moment, if the shape is not simple, it fails (I've been learning FreeCAD for a few weeks and got stuck on this tool, after research I found plenty of complaints about this problem)
Followed the tutorial but couldn't get the curved segments to work at time 13:18. The top segments were twisted in on themselves. Increasing the interpolation points didn't help.
@@DuyQuangDang Finally was able to get the curved segments to work by not clicking on the point after selecting all the lines. My next question is why do you have a toolbar on the left side at time 17:46? And why can't I find scale anywhere? I can go to the draft workbench to scale the part but I can't find how to do it in the part workbench.
Sempre ottimi tutorial. grazie.
Adding thickness to a body in FreeCAD seems to be quite challenging. Thank you for the helpful video.
👍
Thanks!
Thanks alot for the support to the channel! I am grateful for that :)
Very well explained, keep it up 👍
I swear, you know this open source so well that I'm beginning to think you are contributing to it's creation.

Is there a reason you are creating all of those offset surfaces and not doing a thickness operation on a closed solid?

You could double check the point of the join curve, it have to be exactly in the middle. If not it will be twisted, 12:06

@@neilnagel9857 Try part menu/scale. Older version don't have it.
