I love how in Voyage of the Dawn Treader, Lucy, Edmond and Eustace find a Lamb. The lamb transformed into Aslan. At that point Aslan then told Edmond and Lucy that they could not return to Narnia, and that now they would know Aslan’s earthly name. Implying that Aslan indeed was the Son of God, Jesus

    C. S. Lewis held in mind a much deeper meaning than simply the Great Lion. Aslan represents Christ Himself, as this entire series is subliminally portraying Christianity and the life of Christ. “In your world, I am known by another name...you must learn to know me by it” (3rd movie). -Aslan. He teaches virtue, lovingly chastises vices, and commands respect and faith.
Aslan, for these reasons and more, is my favorite character. I recently rewatched all 3 movies, and I cried when it was over. I want to actually read the original books by C. S. Lewis.

If anyone ever wanted to take up the mantle of Narnia, I don't think there's ever been a better time than now, to write the story of Susan grieving the loss of her family, slowly reasembling her memories of Narnia, fighting her way out of depression and finally being reunited with Aslan and her lost family.

I have a feeling when Susan passes away, Aslan will come to her, ask her does she believe. In tears, Susan would say yes, reaching to touch Aslan's main, her hand de-ages before her eyes. Susan as a young woman, would stand up, leaning on Aslan. Aslan will let out a roar, that makes where Susan was dissapeare. They walk onto the beach before Aslan's County, 3 people are standing there waiting for them. It's Lucy, Peter and Edmund. They all run to each other's arms, laughing and crying. After a few minutes of small talk, Aslan gets them ready to go to his country. Then the four kings and queens, siblings, and friends, hand in hand walked into Aslan's County, a family once again

I loved the part where the editor of the video added the part about Aslan having a plan for Susan in this world.
In my head cannon adult Susan ending up meeting with C,S Lewis by divine appointment.
She relayed her and the other friends of Narnia's adventures, and Lewis being a gifted writer put her stories to paper and created the Chronicles of Narnia.
In other words in my head cannon Susan was left behind to collaborate with fellow Christian C.S Lewis, and help bring the word of God/Christ to young people in a way they could easily understand.
      That was her purpose....

I always assumed that Susan not being there at the end was the author's way of paralleling the Bible, how at the end it is said during the great rapture that one person would go and one person would stay. I am glad to see that there are many theories as to how Susan is not lost! ❤️

@tom st that is true that the end of The Chronicles of Narnia just showed how this small group of people essentially got to a version of heaven. And it is not necessarily portraying the rapture. However I have heard the end of days interpreted a few different ways , and one way that I have heard people talk about it is that all those who die will go to sleep and at the end during the Great Rapture they will all awaken together, at the same time. I'm pretty sure there are parts there at the end of The Final Battle where they're reunited with characters as if no time was lost .. So I do think that is one way that these scenes could be interpreted, I will have to reread The Final Battle sometime soon

Apparently in the 1960s, CS Lewis told a fan who wrote him about Susan, that he had always planned on telling a "more grown-up" story of Narnia with Susan. So.....I think he must have thought he wanted to save one character to use to examine the evolution of innocent trust to mature faith. It would seem that Lewis did not leave Susan behind. He just died before he could finish her story.

In some ways the fact that Peter, Edmund, Lucy, their parents Jill, Eustace, Digory and Polly all end up in Narnia at the very end of "The Chronicles of Narnia" ties everything up for them so well with a final flourish that it's finished with a bow. They all get to live in the real Narnia as a family in what is clearly meant to say that they all lived happily ever after. However, the stark reality is that while they get to live on in Heaven Susan is the only one who lives on earth who must now identify all their battered bodies and live with the absolute grief and agony of dealing with the six deaths of her family and their friends all at once so she is left to process all of her grief over them with no way of knowing if she will ever get a happy ever after with frills or a bow at all, on her own. The other tragedy though, and perhaps the one that bears equal weight if not more is that in the process of growing up Susan deluded herself into believing that all the very real events that she lived through in Narnia with her siblings were nothing but the figments of playing a childish game rather than a series of life affirming lessons on how to live as her best self while on an emotional journey through a magical land that really existed. She is permanently stuck where she is at the age she is by the end as a result of forgetting to and refusing to apply what she learnt from Aslan to the life she's living on earth. Moreover, she dismisses the very real trauma she experienced of having witnessed His crucifixion by the White Witch, the power of the unconditional sacrifice He made for her own brother and all of Narnia and the glory of His resurrection all in one as nothing but a story along with the fact that He was brought back by a Deeper Magic so as to make her a Queen of Narnia.
Lucy is the one of all the Pevensies who always has faith In Aslan no matter what happens as it comes so naturally to her as a pure and innocent child with the strongest connection to him; she is the truest believer throughout the whole story. Susan has to learn to come back to the same faith the hard way and it's far harder for her than it ever is for Lucy as she must deal with her losses on her own on earth in the end, without her little sister who always wanted her to believe right alongside her. Susan views Narnia through the lens of a teenager going through puberty throughout the series however, and so she seems to think at certain times even when she's in Narnia itself, especially in the films rather than in the books that Narnia must be part of a nonsensical teenage phase in her life as she grows older and that the mature, logical thing to do is to grow out of that phase when actually she was sent to Narnia to learn to become more mature by allowing herself to grow into a strong, independent woman who is sensible, self-aware and wise.
Susan's story mirrors the internal battle that C.S Lewis had with himself and his faith in the most realistic, gut wrenching way possible. In his anger over his mother's death before he came back to the Christian faith C.S Lewis seemed to see Christ's crucifixion and resurrection as a story when he knew, deep down, that it had really happened. Susan makes the same mistake due to having failed to apply what wisdom she learnt from witnessing Aslan's death firsthand to how to live her life on earth. As a result, she unwittingly leads herself to extreme suffering since she's living a lie by pretending that her experiences of life in Narnia never happened when deep down she knows they were real and that she could get back to believing it all if she only allowed herself to do so. She's not as grown up or as mature as she likes to think she is which is exactly what Aunt Polly highlights about her upon entering the real Narnia. Aunt Polly wants Susan to grow up by acknowledging the truth that she is not grown up as she is keeping up a pretense that will only cause her intense emotional pain if she carries on with it. The other problem for Susan by this point though is that she won't know what to feel except grief and maybe even guilt in not knowing how to believe as she must now deal with the painful loss of all of her family first. That in it's own way though should hit her that their deaths are just as real as Aslan's death and resurrection always was, and how both these events left a such real, raw impact on her when she witnessed it. She admired Him for going through with it when he explained it, she loved Him for it since Aslan ensured that Edmund would not have to suffer such a horrible fate and in her wisdom she knew that neither she or anyone else should ever tell Edmund that Aslan had given his life for him in such a bloody, brutal ritual to restore balance in His world. She grew into a sceptic upon returning to earth not out of malice but out of insecurity, self-doubt and immaturity and wanting a sense of permanency in that earthly life outside of Narnia after the Golden Age. She continued to be a sceptic upon returning to restore the native Narnians who had also become sceptics back to their own faith so much so that she couldn't see Aslan. Aslan forgave her for her scepticism though and told her not to listen to the fear of losing faith in him once she could see him again. She fell prey to that fear by the end though in entertaining the idea that she was the one who was growing up in growing out of some childish 'attachment' to Narnia which was never childish at all.
I like to think that by the end of "The Chronicles of Narnia" and upon losing her family that in being the only Pevensie left to grieve over her dead family and as the last, living Queen of Narnia though is that Susan Pevensie knows, in her heart that she must now be as gentle as her title Queen Susan the Gentle suggests with herself and that she must let the pain of losing them help her to make peace with herself over having dismissed the true significance of Aslan's death and rebirth in the country she became Queen of because otherwise she will never forgive herself if she doesn't. The best thing she can do for herself now is to grow into what wisdom she could still attain from having to mourn her family and the death of her faith and forgiving herself for dismissing Aslan's lessons in all the time she spent in Narnia and it will be then, after processing it all and become wiser and is willing to believe once more that He will open the golden gates of the garden, forgive her for having turned her back on him as he once did when she was a young girl and let her into Heaven.

A BIT ironic though is that the demon Rath also appeared to Solomon as a lion.

The Narnia films are actually based on seven books by C. S. Lewis. Only three of the books were actually made into films. The video draws extra info from the unfilmed books. In chronological order the books go: The Magician’s Nephew, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, The Horse and his Boy, Prince Caspian, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, The Silver Chair, and The Last Battle.

Let us not lose sight of the fact that though Aslan may be the great one unto the Narnians...the Lord is ineffable, greatest of the great, utterly peerless, and worthy of all worship! Though characters such as the 'Emperor Beyond the Sea' and 'Eru Ilúvatar' are considered great in their own right--and devised by very talented and well-meaning men to point towards God, I might add--in a true comparison these story characters cannot even begin to express the boundless splendour and holiness ascribed unto the Holy One of Israel. For no human mind can measure the outstretched mighty arm of the Lord of Hosts and no naked eye can see Him seated in His power and glory and live to tell the tale.

      Yes he is.
      C. S. Lewis was one of, if not the greatest Christian writer of the 20th century, and he made Aslan to literally be Jesus, I guess if God made another world populated by non-human rational beasts, that would be how He would appear to them.
And it also reflects Jesus being called the Lion of Judah.

If Aslan made Narnia by a roar (sound). 'Everything was made by, for, and through the Word (Logos)' then Jezus might symbolically be the incarnated Word made flesh through whom the Holy Spirit spoke for the glory of the Father. At the end Aslan (king of the jungle) will return and pass judgement.

    1) who is the professor in the beggining of Narnia 1 ( is it digory character ) ?
    2) If Jadis can kill with a simple spell whole Charn, why did not do the same to avoid the kings and queens to claim their right to the throne of Narnia ?
    3) How the hek in the "Golden Age " of Narnia are so many humans amongst the Narnians. I mean how they all together managed to create a whole Nation under the name of "Telmarines " ? Is it so famous to enter from real world to Narnia , coz before it was such a rare thing for Narnians to sight humans in it.

Lewis was going to make Susan his own portrait, especially at a time in life when he abandoned faith for human reason and became an atheist
He was going to portray in her this moment of his life and obviously she would come back to believe in Aslan and Narnia and would meet her siblings
Unfortunately for us there was no conclusion, where Susan never came back to believe in Aslan and probably didn't meet them again
