He basically says it at the end of last film. “In your world I go by another name, you must learn to know me by it. I brought you here so in your world you’ll understand me better”

      Aslan has the creation abilities.
Plus he was the son of a King.
Only 2 beings exist in this reality that possess the creation abilities.
That is Jesus & his father - God.
So Aslan could only be Jesus for him to have this ability.
Jesus was God's only begotten son as he was the only one that was created by God.
All other's was through a combined effort between God & Jesus.
So Jesus unique design put him in a class of his own from the start.
Plus he is meant to have gained alot more power after he proved himself through his sacrifice to save humanity.
Also he became King in heaven by 1914 & gained alot more power.

something interesting to note, is Aslan is also the creator of the Narnia universe. CS Lewis wrote a prequel that explains the origins of the White Witch, and the creation of Narnia. Aslan roared it into existence. It was nothing. But Aslan appeared and made something, and it was called Narnia. This is very similar to Jesus being the author of creation. Aslan in Narnia is more than just a king, he is literally Jesus in the form of a lion. Probably the best allegorical book ever written tbh.

In 2020, I once dreamed of a white lion dragon with a feathery mane and two horns on its head nudging me on the forehead. I was afraid of him at first because he was so big, but he was very gentle and I felt his love. I wondered who he was that year until I read about Jesus being called a lion and also a lamb of course. On Sumerian clay tablets sometimes there is also a kind of white lion dragon or lamb dragon. The idea of the Messiah in normal human form is probably not quite correct. If the Messiah were actually a lion dragon or a dragon lamb it would explain how he could come from heaven to earth and ascend back to heaven. He could fly.

If God was real why would he need to sacrifice himself to himself to save man? and then the resurection invalidates any sacirifice anyway because he didnt really die.

      Because a sacrifice was needed.
Someone to pay the price for all sin.
That isn't directly death, but to be separated from God, and suffering his wrath against sin, which is a crime against God himself.
The ressurection does not invalidate anything, as Jesus already paid the price for sin before coming back to life, so whoever wants to follow him may be free from it.

Because the process is dialectical - God is unknowable in himself and so he negates himself and finites himself through the son so that he can be known- God then negates this negation (absolute negation) in the form of crucifixion so he can return to himself in the form of the Holy Spirit

    • @peeckle1657

Becuase humans needed to realize their very innate nature of sin and moreover if we could understand fully why this was done then won't we be gods?

He wanted to show humanity that he truly loves us by giving his son

  • @drugsarebad97

It’s well known the connection between Jesus and aslan. However it was never meant to be a direct comparison. It was done more so to convey what our lord goes through to love us.
A physical representation of what we imagine per se. To show audiences what real love looks like , even with the hard parts

Not sure I follow why you say that. Lewis writes him to literally be Jesus "In your world I have another name, you must learn to know me by it" as well as the text near the end of the final book says something like "And as they looked at him he appeared to look less like a lion."
