Luca Turilli(main composer) is a genius and this is the last album with him. But there is more from his other projects.
I'm all for Turilli/ Lione and Luca Turilli's Rhapsody.
I don't listen to them every day, but when I am in a certain mood. When I am in the mood of Wall of Sound music, I listen to them.

I totally agree with your opinion that Rhapsody (of Fire) never get the deserved recognition they really deserve from the first album to the last song! Can you react to Gargoyles, Angels Of Darkness, a 19min long metal opera with some crazy spanish guitar intro.

Hi Nick , well I did listen all the way through and I understand both sides. Many times I have come across albums that I consider brilliant and noone else liked, but then I have been with someone who couldn't wait to play me an album by Van De Graaf Generator and for the life of me I could not get into it. [ sorry to any fans ] This was during the 70's so who knows, maybe I wasn't ready for them then ? This has more of a classical operatic feel to it which for me explains some reluctance to listen. My dad loved opera and I hated it. Lol Oddly there is a lot of music he loved I did not like in my teens yet now I find myself listening to. I understand how you feel, but don't get disheartened. You can't win them all, but you do bring so much pleasure to this channel and it's your passion for music that shines and we love that from you...and Lex. Remember that. Byee Jim X

the problem with those last albums with Turilli is maybe the historical moment.. at that point a lot of people got boring from the medieval fantasy themed and is sad cause the last Three albums with Luca are maybe at the top 5 from the band. the music became more agressive and dramatic and less cheesy.. the good side of the story is that Lucca made another master piece with Ascending to Infinity.. sadly for Staropoli.. he is not that good composer.. i feel all his albums without Luca just plain and generic while all the Luca projects are gold(Luca Turrilli, Dreamquest and LT Rhapsody, Turilli Lione Rhapsody)
My god...these Luca fanboys really are idiots who despise the other members of the band, huh?...
