David Schwimmer's Ross is like a runner who comes from behind to win the race. When the series started, he wasn't that memorable. But he really shone in the later seasons, due to David's incredible acting and the writers giving him much funnier storylines. It was great once they moved him away from the "single dad in love with Rachel" story arc.
That didn't make me laugh much. Until they showed RACHEL'S viewpoint and we see his hair sticking above the chair!! Then I couldn't hold it any longer. Then she and Phoebe overpower him and have him on the floor and he can't even beat two girls. He's such a wimp, LMAO....
Most of them are from Ross, the bagpipe, the one with the keyboards, we were on a break, 18pages front and back, the sándwich with thanksgiving leftovers, and we can go on and on

My favorite out of all seasons and episodes. The flow of events and sequences are smooth and consequential. Perfect acting by these professional, generated a lot of memorable words and expressions. 5 stars.
Chandler has the most memorable one liners, but Ross definitely has the most memorable scenes and plots. People hate him, but the same people say that Sandwich, Unagi, leather pants, the white teeth, the cousin etc. are the highlights of the show. And the best thing is I doubt they would be funny if Ross was played by anyone else
Schwimmer is a genius comedian, especially in slapstick, he made those absurd situations funny. Also, people that "hate" Ross are probably people unable to differentiate realism and comedy, thinking that what the characters in a freaking sitcom do should always be taken as realistic psychology or representation of a personality. Ross has been put in the most absurd situation since day1 simply because Schwimmer could pull them off as nobody else and make them funny. Simple as that. Also, Ross is a great character in any case.
I don’t like Ross because of his traits and actions, but the character was incredibly well written and the actor did an amazing job too. He is also hilarious.
Phoebe and Ross are my favourites. People say Chandler or Joey take center stage, but it's Ross and Phoebe who are so different from the rest of the cast. Both have a peculiar caliber of acting and the dialogue delivery, expressions and mannerisms ease our brilliant well.
this show will always be funny, no matter how many times i've seen it. The 6 characters are so endearing, unique and complementary. Ross physical humour is just amazing, especially the end part when he notice them in the window. it just cracks me up every time
David Schwimmer's acting in Friends is inspired by cartoons' characters and that's why he is universally appreciated and loved as Ross. I hope we could have had the chance to see other acting specially before Friends because no one could imagine him afterwards in any other role
