Mercury don’t have all choices
I need a stainless prop 3 blades 18 pitch X 14 diameter right , left hand and they don’t have it
We have a high five 17 on our hurricane fun deck. It hauls all the mail even fully loaded. Pops out of the water instantly and hits top speed within a couple boat lengths. The onboard Yems 5.7L v8 probably is most of the reason but I would hate to see less control on it.
I wanted to know why some WWII airplanes had 4, most had 3 blades. Why not all 5 :P ?
Offcourse... doesnt matter if you want to move through water, so lets watch.
Was stupid enough to write a bad comment xD but to give em some slack because of my expectation (something scientific instead of sales pitch)
Doesn’t add up for me. You are no where near the rpm limiter, if you are doing 5840 rpm. That engine won’t limit until about 6100/6150 rpm.
Can you afford sharrow prop ?
