For costing over 1k I would expect the blades to be perfectly spaced apart, hell my NECA got that right and it was 80 bucks.

Its sideshow, what do you expect? They are really lazy when it comes to predators sadly.

Still looking flat to me... maybe both headsculpts are too inaccurate (unmasked too long)... but the Biomask was better and more accurate painted before

Thank you for sharing these pieces of art! I don't think anyone can match nenny's quality and passion for predator repaints

There is something that isn't in the same accurate quality in the biomask paint app.. but is just my opinion

I’ve been modifying my Maquette as well. In my opinion the neca spine isn’t a perfect fit, since it’s smaller than the Maquette. Still works well though.

Awesome paint job! Can you please advice what clear acrylic paint you have used ? It will be cool if you can tell what colours and type of paint you used to replicate your paint as I really like it .. thanks in advance

Hey , ill get back to you later this week since i‘m on the road. Most of it were tamiya acrilic paints, ill list you the color codes then. Stay tuned. :-)

So, i just checked the colors - it was not Tamiya color, but a combination of Revell Acyrilic and Email colors, and also Vallejo Acrylic colors. i can only give you guidance for the repaint of base and amor, the headsculpt is not done by me. For the armor parts I went with Email paints and drybrushed the accents with following email colors by "Revell": Nr 99 Aluminium, metallic / Nr 90 Silver metallic / 21 Iron color . Email colors are a lot better for metallic scenarios, but you cannot remove email colors that easy when applied - so start in small areas. For the helmet I also went with these colors but also added some brown washed areas to show the age- this effect is done with acrylic paint by Vallejo "Charred brown". The eyes I painted with flat black - also Vallejo: "Nato black", with the same black I worked on dry brushing blaster shot effects on the helmet (in the middle of the forehead, or the big blast shot on the the top of the helmet). For the base I also wenn with Vallejo acrylic colors: here I mainly drybrushed the stones with the color "cold grey" and "white" so show more hiighlights. The roots I painted also a bit more with "charred brown" to show that they are really wodden. On the green / leaf stuff i added clear paint by Revell (acrylic based). it's like a gloss coat that you can apply. The more you do the shiner / wet look it will become. I think you just should start with experimenting with these colors and you will quickly see the effects. Good luck. :-)

@@Xenom0rph Thanks for your informative reply which is greatly appreciated and reflects your care for the fans of your work. As per the Revell 21 is that the iron metallic color? I will experiment with the colors and I hope I will get it right the first time : )

      @@ShadowMosesForEver Sorry, typo - it's 91 iron metallic of Reevell. :-)
