That's a good question. "The wheel is way more precise and has a nicer finish" - Martin. He said it was more about preserving the original frame rails and leaving a good finish for him to TIG weld onto later.
@Otsuka Maxwell Design my only nit piks with the 400 series cars was to squared off on the sides. Not saying a rounded wide body but just enough flair to give the side profile some kick out. Plus the taillights are basically tacked on school bus light. Crazy concert would be kinda like a dmc12 or even z31 300zx taillights if molded in right would look kinda normal for the body styling
I can't comprehend how fire this will be...
Sincerely cannot believe this has less than 1500 views… fantastic content gentlemen!!
probably the greatest youtube project happening right now. If this became a streetable car I would lose it.
Thank you!! It should look and sound pretty cool rolling down the California Coast!
That's a lot of wheel cutting. Did Martin think about using a torch?

I always wanted to do this to a 412
It deserves it!
So cool
I'm 1 of maybe a very few people that likes the 400 / 412 ferrari but adding in the 812 drivetrain is truly a wolf in sheep's clothing
Sounds like we might have to give it some wolf clothing 😉
