Listen to the original Momma Cat and this woman, they really do sound alike (I know in the credits there were two different names for both characters, but given what Jason Johnson said on the Media Bros podcast about Daddy Derek making up credit names, I think he might've just done that). Surprised he didn't find a way to remove her from the scene in this version. Also, I noticed the black guy in that scene is the guy from the crazy dream video (YOU AIN'T SEEN NOTHIN' X5).
The really crazy thing, Derek Savage paid to be in the Hollywood parade. He plays it up in the movie like they got invited, but he spent good money to put himself into the parade, and then makes a movie around it. Good Lord.
You can also tell that Daddy Derek failed to even get a good budget for his appearance. Just riding around in a customised car then running around by himself with no other parade participators in sight, it’s honestly kinda embarrassing

Jason Johnson said they were going to add a lot more scenes but Derek felt he was not learning his new lines fast enough and would not be ready in time to film them so he did not film those scenes.

I got bullied till I started fighting back. After a long series of bullying (sometimes physical) I would eventually snap. I would then beat up the main bully completely on a tantrum. It felt like I was taken over and that my perception was blurred. It happened front of other bullies and then everyone just stopped bullying. Happened several times eventually. Got send to a psychiatrist for 2 year. Got diagnosed on almost every mental illness, came out negative every single time. Then they just let me go. Waste of their time and mine. The bullies were the ones that needed that seat. Met some nice kids while I was in treatment, common problem was we were all being bullied for some reason. One even got diagnosed with ptsd because of this.

I feel like Cynthia Rothrock could've made a great cameo for self-defense/martial arts. Like maybe she appears in Cool Cat's dream when he contemplates what he should do, and she tells him that starting a fight with a bully will just cause more trouble, and Cool Cat himself could end up looking like a bully. Or he sees her practicing and asks if she could teach him some fighting/defense, to which she agrees. Once Cool Cat mentions hes going to show Butch the Bully a lesson, she tells him thats not what he should do when confronted with a bully, and it should be used for self-defense. I know you said you fought your bullies growing up, but some kids might be scared to fight back, and some schools have rules where 'whoever throws the first punch gets in more trouble' like suspension/cops called EDIT: Theres also no need for the Cool Cat Rap Masta song, theres already a Cool Cat rap in the green screen scene. There's actually a funny story behind this; I remember coming across the *news* of something called "Cool Cat Kids Superhero" (I know it had "Superhero" in the title, but probably not the "Kids" part), and I honestly thought it'd be interesting (in a *real* "guilty pleasure" sort of way). I mean, think about it: Cool Cat actually becoming a superhero, of all things? But when I looked at its trailer, all I saw was just the same trailer as the one for "Cool Cat Saves the Kids". I immediately considered it a letdown since I assumed it was pretty much the same thing as "Cool Cat Saves the Kids", so I didn't think much of it sense. But then I came across this review, and that's when I learned it was supposed to be a _re-edited_ version of "Cool Cat Saves the Kids". (I guess _that_ would explain why I thought it was the same movie the first time I came across it.) But yeah; this was *some* "retooled and re-edited" version of it, huh? What. A. _Masterpiece._

I backed this movie on Kickstarter and I lost it when I got the update showing your name and it got me excited because I knew you would review this movie. 😂 I also actually met Derek at my local Costco a couple years ago and he showed me the script for the movie and I even took a photo with him, haha.

Including Cynthia Rothrock and Gary Daniels. Cynthia plays Mrs. Claus. There's a great Rifftrax of it and it's hilariously dumb.

Just a quick note, my friend bought me Cool Cat Saves the Kids for my birthday as a joke 2 years ago. However, I noticed it was different from the one that reviewers, like you, reviewed. It had some of the changes you listed here, like the man walking in and out of his house being gone and Butch watching the parade in envy. So...I guess he released a second version of Cool Cat without telling anyone? I’m not sure. But here it is for anyone interested.

I got bullied till I started fighting back. After a long series of bullying (sometimes physical) I would eventually snap. I would then beat up the main bully completely on a tantrum. It felt like I was taken over and that my perception was blurred. It happened front of other bullies and then everyone just stopped bullying. Happened several times eventually. Got send to a psychiatrist for 2 year. Got diagnosed on almost every mental illness, came out negative every single time. Then they just let me go. Waste of their time and mine. The bullies were the ones that needed that seat. Met some nice kids while I was in treatment, common problem was we were all being bullied for some reason. One even got diagnosed with ptsd because of this.
...Really? That's where we are now? Fight back against someone bullying you, and that MUST be because of some mental illness? I hate Current Year.

I feel like Cynthia Rothrock could've made a great cameo for self-defense/martial arts. Like maybe she appears in Cool Cat's dream when he contemplates what he should do, and she tells him that starting a fight with a bully will just cause more trouble, and Cool Cat himself could end up looking like a bully. Or he sees her practicing and asks if she could teach him some fighting/defense, to which she agrees. Once Cool Cat mentions hes going to show Butch the Bully a lesson, she tells him thats not what he should do when confronted with a bully, and it should be used for self-defense. I know you said you fought your bullies growing up, but some kids might be scared to fight back, and some schools have rules where 'whoever throws the first punch gets in more trouble' like suspension/cops called
EDIT: Theres also no need for the Cool Cat Rap Masta song, theres already a Cool Cat rap in the green screen scene. Also Derek cannot sing, at all...must've been an excuse to get a song nominated for his 420 awards (which you know, he nominates himself for half the awards and of course wins them because internet poll. There's actually a funny story behind this; I remember coming across the *news* of something called "Cool Cat Kids Superhero" (I know it had "Superhero" in the title, but probably not the "Kids" part), and I honestly thought it'd be interesting (in a *real* "guilty pleasure" sort of way). I mean, think about it: Cool Cat actually becoming a superhero, of all things? But when I looked at its trailer, all I saw was just the same trailer as the one for "Cool Cat Saves the Kids". I immediately considered it a letdown since I assumed it was pretty much the same thing as "Cool Cat Saves the Kids", so I didn't think much of it sense. But then I came across this review, and that's when I learned it was supposed to be a _re-edited_ version of "Cool Cat Saves the Kids". (I guess _that_ would explain why I thought it was the same movie the first time I came across it.)
But yeah; this was *some* "retooled and re-edited" version of it, huh? What. A. _Masterpiece._

I like how Cool Cat's reason why you shouldn't punch your bullies in the face is that you might get in trouble and not that "hitting people isn't nice". I thought for sure _that's_ what would've caused the bad/mixed messages counter to ding.
I backed this movie on Kickstarter and I lost it when I got the update showing your name and it got me excited because I knew you would review this movie. 😂
I also actually met Derek at my local Costco a couple years ago and he showed me the script for the movie and I even took a photo with him, haha.
