If the actual movie was about a goofball growing up and becoming more responsible, wouldn't it make more sense for him to start out a sheep and turn into a wolf? He lived a life of pranks with the lighthearted sheeps but now that he's a wolf, he has to get accustomed to their more serious ways. Of course, he'd show them that having a little fun never hurts anyone but he'd also teach himself that there are times for jokes and times for being serious. And if the sheep didn't know that wolves existed, maybe it was because they DID defeat them before but one pack is still hiding unknown to them. That would give the pack motivation to take the sheep down and if the character was a sheep in wolves clothing instead, it'd be an interesting internal battle since if he sides with his sheep family, his wolf friends die and vice versa.

*Me remembering that Beastars exists and how one of the main things about the world is that while eating other animals is frowned upon, the animals that eat meat still have instinctual desires for it, which leads to allegories for stuff that exists in out world (mainly how people are judged for things that are out of their control.)* (oh boy.)

At least it’s not the Mount Everest segment on one episode of Last Week Tonight. There are two Rick-rolls in that one, as, after showing footage from 2012 of how crowded Everest can get, John Oliver points out that there only two things that were (that episode aired in 2019) as ridiculously popular in 2019 as they were in 2012: Everest and Rick-rolling. Also, “Wasted Years” would’ve been a better fit for that scene, and I speak from personal experience on that.

27:38 its ssj2 gray XDDDDDDDDDDDDDD jk Aaand just as info, many things here are misunderstood, gray became a ram for a good reason, a loser did not become a loser but an irresponsible person became a mature and good leader. The events he went through taught him to take responsibility, and that's what the film tries to explain to us. The film teaches not to judge something quickly and instead of forcing something with violence, to solve things in a nicer way. In my opinion there is nothing bad about this film, damn it even has a realistic ranking-system one that alpha and omega did not had.
I've heard it said that the whole 'furry' movement is the product of people who grew up on Disney feeling more inclined to share emotional connections with talking animals; are they sure it's not the result of crappy storytelling and dialogue like this? I really hope you do review that which shall not be named; I think it screwed enough of us up to warrant being able to laugh at it. @@BigK13372 Anthropomorphic animals in illustration is a long tradition in fiction; the 'furry' culture started in the 2000s and involves complex cosplay. It's not just animated creatures.

SHEEP AS RABBITS.
15:35 shouldn't that Sheep version of Venus be shaved of all her wool
They should have stayed closer to there main inspiration of the Asterix and Obelix comic's and Just make the sheep Gauls and wolves the romans or the other way around but get the point across who needs to be beaten down to there level
Seeing that there is a picture of ziko taking a shower is a coathanger with his flees hanging on it, so would the wool be some kind of take on take off body suite? Like what loony tunes dose, would a sheep without wool be considered Nude, and what would cover the crouch a leaf a Shell or a cowbell
Whoa, never expected to hear a Whingdingdilly reference. Nice! Loved that book.
Apparently these wolves have the same hair barber as the wolves in Alpha and Omega.
"I'll tell you what's impossible: This cheap rushed rehash of The Lion King."
No, that would be the 2019 remake doing that.
No, the Lion King remake clearly costed a lot to make
@@rayelgatubelo Okay, maybe not cheap, but it is really rushed. Seriously, the original was 90 minutes long, and that took its time more than the almost two hour remake.
Your 300th review next week? I'm calling it now. It's Transformers The Last Knight
Placing bet now
Next week is gonna be transformers the last knight
4:40 funny you mention GotG, I was thinking more Madagascar 2 myself with Alex thinking it was a dance off.
otakon17 what is that acronym for?
@@haredevil9115 Guardians of the Galaxy.
Excellent work on this. And yes the Sheep do know what fish are since at 2:12 shows them fishing.I home you and your Raven had a Happy Thanksgiving. Sorry, I didn't realize this was put up.
Honestly Grey's character ark and him taking over as alpha wolf is probably the best thing for this world since there is the topic of sentient anthro people eating other sentient anthro people.
Come here wolfy boy!-must be a bobsheaux!
Eye of the Tiger from the First Rocky Film I ever Saw Rocky III.
19:38 I guess us furries have mutated to become actual half animals.
Also, make "fall of the loser" into a full song, it's going to be a great meme XD
I think those long-legged elephants are a reference to Salvador Dali
I was not prepared for that credit stinger mammy
16:21 I question why we're still vilifying predator animals just because they're doing what they have to do to survive. Can you imagine if you replaced the wolves in this movie with humans and it was just vilifying human beings for eating lamb-chops?
*Me remembering that Beastars exists and how one of the main things about the world is that while eating other animals is frowned upon, the animals that eat meat still have instinctual desires for it, which leads to allegories for stuff that exists in out world (mainly how people are judged for things that are out of their control.)*
(oh boy.)
27:35 Regeneration sounds and light along with a faintly Murry Gold sounding score.
i actually like this movie, and bianca is one of favorite characters and i ship her with sir pentious (Hazbin Hotel)
That's... random-
13:37 it’s like he heard him he just woke up and said “ what did you just say” and he was coming for him lol
I agree with pretty much everyone’s criticisms of this film, but... if this had come out when I was a kid I would have loved it. The designs just make me smile. I’m not even a furry. It just looks so endearing.
I could have had the ability to make the potion to turn you back into a wolf all along but the writers of my universe told me to wait until the climax because DRAMA!!!!!
So many Lion King references too.
You do know that is a modern contemporary Russian animated movie created by Wizart Animation from Russian Federation.
18:14 In original she said "Don't make me get the roasting-Jack" while lambs are like "Who is he?"
1:39 Hey! Alpha and Omega is my Childhood Movie
@17:39-17:48 *wiggles like the Enchantress* IT'S GLORIOUS!!!
@26:43 Look Bob, it's King Ram-onidas!
Can I assume that the 300th review is Transformers: TLK?
This video came out on my birthday but was blocked in my country for almost a week before I could actually see it. Thanks, TH-cam!
Raven the Raven 😂
What company made the Wolfabob puppet? or was he hand made?
Folkmanis.com
@@Bobsheaux Thanks! it's interesting to see he's actually their Coyote puppet but he works well for Wolfabob.
Oh, you're using a wolf puppet! I was wondering what a Quokka had to do anything!
The next week, the sheep invented guns and killed the wolves.
also ziko NEVER FIGURED OUT THAT GRAY WAS THE WOLF IN THE BEGINNING OF THE MOVIE, he sees grey as just a cowardly sheep that sold off his friends lifes to save his own skin, grey at the beginning when he is introduced to the other sheep gives a shady sob story that he is the only survivor of the eastern herd who are confirmed killed off by a unknown predator army, ziko concludes that grey was the one responsible for the mysterious death of the eastern herd and that he was planning to do this from the very beginning with the wolves, there are points in the movie from a outsiders prospective that the sheep believe that grey suffers from Clinical lycanthropy, cliff is a seagull that believes his a Ram so its not unknown to these sheep
...Did I just get "Rick-Rolled" by a CARTOON WOLF?!?!
Several years after the joke was relevant, yes.
@@Bobsheaux again there was no rickroll in the original movie from russia, its the American redub that dose this...
And you thought Jim Cummings was awesome as Dr Robotnik
Still do!
NOBODY CARES!!!
(sorry, Jim Cummings DID do a good job as Robotnik, I just HAD to do that. lol)
I am so happy that my Producer credit is helping to block the blackface at the ending credits.
Wolfabob has returned!
Okay... one of the writers is named "Sugar". That was sooooo important for you guys to point out, but then you failed to mention that Sugar's last name is 1kg?.....
"Guess they didnt' want their real name asociated with this mess."
"Or they were trying…" *floating sunglasses hides my eyes* "to be a little sweet…"
Um.... yeah...... Dun-dunda dundaaaa… ( @28:24 )
26: 14 omg the music to the wolves charging sounds like the GOT theme song.
5:49 The voice behind one of the sheep kids sounds like tails from sonic the hedgehog
I love how Grey was against bullying and then just goes and bullies in that scene.
20:45sorry bob but you have to save that critisim for the 2019 remake
I’ll do one better: save that criticism for the 1994 Jungle Emperor remake.
Man, why am I being such a weeaboo in this comment section?
Anyone else think the male wolves in this movie look more like lions? Muscular, broad muzzles, Magra even has long hair resembling a mane! You can see it at 3:15.
Since I once again need to kill time before going to bed, I figured that I might as well watch your "Sheep & Wolves" review.
EDIT- 1:56 A.M.: *finishes review 39 minutes later*
This movie may be bad but I wouldn't mind seeing it at least once.
One of the wolf is the voice of jarl balgruf from skyrim
27:38 its ssj2 gray XDDDDDDDDDDDDDD jk
Aaand just as info, many things here are misunderstood, gray became a ram for a good reason, a loser did not become a loser but an irresponsible person became a mature and good leader.
Did you know there's an RPG called 'The Warren' that's based on the story? You even have to roll for 'fear and panic' in the face of strange noises and shadows because . . . bunnies!
Elizabeth Athineu Nah, I’m pretty sure the furry movement date as far back as the 1920s/30s in, of course, Japan when Osama Tezuka was drawing anthropormorphized animals which could be the first document example of furries.
@@BigK13372 Anthropomorphic animals in illustration is a long tradition in fiction; the 'furry' culture started in the 2000s and involves complex cosplay. It's not just animated creatures.
@@PoeticProse7 I thought it was the 70s and 80s when the first instances of furry culture started appearing.
I think that sugar thing might actually be a pretyped word in the credit slides that they forgot to change.
I mean it says 1 kilogram of sugar and that notebook style slide looks like it could have been a checklist before being used for credits.
Refrigerators can run off fuel like propane... well, specially-made refrigerators. Still, pretty high tech even without electricity.
29:42 so the staff basically hired 1 kg sugar? 🤔
also i need to point out that partly this movies universe is based on the brother grim stories most likely the wolf and the seven goats, where monsters, humans and human like animals can exist in the same world, i am surprised you did not point out that ziko looks up wolves in a book clearly labeled monsters witch include very human vampires the wabberwaky from alice in wonderland and other fantasy creatures
