  • A look at the Retki Finland Pro sitpack. This is an extremely well designed backpack with a chair built into it as part of the frame. It is meant for hunting and fishing, but is well suited for other outdoor activities like camping and bushcraft.
    I bought mine from Lamnia.com
    There stock is limited, but there are several different models available that are quite similar to this model.

      Thank you! I really like the Scandinavian stuff. It is built for similar conditions to where I am at.

    The insulated bottle pouch is a nice touch. The more I see of this pack, the more I like it. 👍

    Ordered one of these packs after watching your video. It arrived here in Vietnam in 9 days! Really happy with the quality and the speed at which it arrived. It usually takes weeks and sometimes a month or more for something to arrive. The pack is much roomier than I thought it would be and I'm very pleased with it! Thank you, Jess. Bro, I bought this bag after watching this video. I really like it. It’s gonna be great for stealth camping.
    I watch a lot of your videos and I like how you feature the international gear. Thanks for that. I wouldn’t have known about this bag had it not been for you.
    It took 11 days to get to Long Island NY from Finland. The seat is great and the 30L - 40L size is perfect for plenty of gear.
    Keep doing your thing bro, people are watching and learning from you.

    That looks really nice Jess. I use a homemade wooden hunting stool with a small fabric bag attached for the same thing. Having a ready made place to sit down wherever is very under rated.

    Hey there brother 👋🏻 Good to see you again. I pray all is well with you and the family. I'm tentatively planning a hiking trip in September to Montana to see McDonald Lake at Glacier National Park. I hope it all comes together, it's absolutely beautiful. I sure would appreciate the quiet serenity and some one on one time with our Creator. Have a beautiful blessed day Jess and remember to always keep an eye out for the weasel that may be trying to sneak in right under your nose 😶‍🌫️ LORD GOD bless 🙏🏼

      Hey sister! Good to be seen. We are all well here. Been busy with the home. Montana trip sounds wonderful. I hope it all comes together for you! I know what you mean about the quiet time. Take it where and when we can get it. As for the weasels, they are out in force these days. They’re favorite tactic is hiding with 98% truth. God bless

    Great pack! I've got one of similar design, but it sure doesn't have the features or capacity of this pack! I just ordered one from Lamina. Thanks for the video, it's very much appreciated! I'm looking forward to receiving my new pack. unfortunately living in Vietnam it going to probably take a month or two to get here, but such is life. Thanks again for turning me on to this pack! Thanks for this! I'm from Finland and I see these Retki-products being sold all the time. Never bought one as they have bad reputation here in Finland, however this one seems to be very well made with nice features. I might buy one!

    Looks like a decent pack. The weight is off putting though! 3.1kg ( slightly under 7 lb ) seems a bit much!
    But the price is fair! Especially compared to my Fjällräven Stubben ( 27 liter, 2.1 kg, no hip belt, not comfortable to carry) this is definitely worth consideration!
    Thanks for showing it to us!

    • @EnduranceRoom
      @EnduranceRoom  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Alexander! Yeah, a little on the heavy side, so I do tend to pack it a little different than my other rucks. For a quick hike, I might throw up my tarp and make tea, and usually carry something similar to this loadout. Probably 30-35lbs loaded with water.

    Greetings- Thats a nice pack for the price. Thanks for showing the other stuff you have in it- I may need to look into a tarp like that. I was wondering what are those pants you have? They look like the kind that Bear Grylls uses or similar. The seat on that pack sure would come in handy as you mentioned. I dont know if Id throw this one around like my old school Alice, but it looks durable enough for general use. Thanks for the info and you guys be safe up there- Carry On-

      Thank you! The pants are from TRUSpec. Got em on ebay for $15. Really nice. I wasn’t sure about the cargo pockets being up front, but now I really like how they carry.

    I have seen these over the years and really like the concept. I actually have a smaller Mil-tec backpack built the same way and used it for many years. It would be awesome if someone built one in 500D Cordura, MOLLE comparable and about 45 litres.

    • @EnduranceRoom
      @EnduranceRoom  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, I definitely think there would be interest in that. 45L is a great volume, too.

    • @turtlewolfpack6061
      @turtlewolfpack6061 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@EnduranceRoom yup, just enough potential expansion (because of the molle) that you could potentially push it into winter in many AOs. For me I still could but I wouldn't be 100% comfortable the first night or two and there would be very little traveling!
      Maybe someone will pick up the idea?
