My great grandfather was one of the first settlers of Siliguri ... Then my grandfather was born in Siliguri and then father was born in Siliguri and I was born in Siliguri ... 3 generations ... we saw this city become a draconian high-rise metropolitan city from a tropical rain forest ... Siliguri is becoming un-livable ... this summer I couldn't tolerate the heat had to go to Kolkata 🙃🙃🙃 , it's colder in Kolkata apparently 🥲

While you've said sometime very correct, but, somewhere I feel you should have mentioned about Darjeeling and other hill stations also.. As tourism in Siliguri has flourished only coz of the adjacent hill stations.. toy train has nothing to do in Siliguri unless it reaches Darjeeling.. Even tea plantation is popular in Darjeeling... By not mentioning abour Darjeeling in this video, you've been unjust to the Queen of Hills.

Siliguri is a beautiful place...I have my Napelese friend over there...the only disheartening part they told me , due to the napleses from cross border and Sikkim the prices of the property are sky rising ,as a result the Native Napelese of Indian origin in west Bengal are getting deprived from many previleges , moreover lot of document related rackets are opened in illigal way in North Bengal ,where in the agents are charging anywhere from 3k -10k to make Indian government related documents for cross border people...that's sad
