Your videos have made me grow such a love for Chopin! I’m 17 and only just starting to play some of his pieces (I’m currently playing the C# minor nocturne) but I can’t wait to learn more and try some of his mazurkas later- I’m always amazed at how beautiful and reflective they are. Also- I love your dress!
My Dear MM, You cannot imagine my joy at reading your comment! At 17 you are already a sensitive soul! The C sharp minor Nocturne that you are playing is more difficult than some of the Mazurkas on which I have made videos, so please don't wait, but start learning them right away! You will be richly rewarded, and I know that you will play them beautifully! About my dress, i will share with you that it is my favourite dress, and I am lucky that I found it in a store many years ago:) Thank you for your kind words:) Please write something about yourself - where are you? You are a most precious 17 year old and more power to you and your piano playing, and your love of the piano, and Chopin in particular!:) God bless you!
Thankyou, you are too kind!! A family member recently lent me a Chopin book which has some mazurkas in them, so I’ll give them a try! I also found the e minor prelude and the funeral march in there- which I’ve only sightread so far but enjoyed nonetheless. Hope you’re having a great week! Best wishes from Australia☺️
What a great tutorial! I love this mazurka and cant wait to learn it soon with your wonderful video! Your videos are always appreciated! You deserve more recognition!!
Dear Pianoforte, I love your videos too, and so do thousands of your followers! it's always wonderful to hear from you, and thank you for your appreciation! I look forward to seeing and hearing you play this Mazurka on your channel! Just to give you a sneak preview, my next few videos will be on the Waltzes of Brahms!:)
I am sorry for the background sound - it is the air conditioner. Please ignore it! My apologies! Iforgot to switch it off. But it is 90 degrees F. (33 degrees C.) and very hot and I just didn't realize that the a/c was on! Certainly, when I am playing the piano, the sound is barely audible. Yet one more reason to love the piano!!!:)
Well played! This piece is beautiful throughout. I appreciate all the great tips when learning this piece and will be very helpful when playing this Chopin Mazurka.
yes, dear Suraj, I do teach on line :) I teach on Skype. Please email me at nostalgic21@comcast.net, and I will give you details of your this works. God bless you for your love of the piano, and thank you for your enquiry :)
