Local Delivery Driver - Video Job Description 🚚

This position isn’t for just a "Driver" - someone who can simply back a truck into the loading bay and then drive off when it’s ready.
We are looking for someone who cares about the load they are delivering and the person they are delivering it to, while also eager to work with other Team Members to best serve our customers.
This role is responsible for the safe, accurate transport of materials to its end destination and representing Southwest well to the customer.

Responsibilities include:
- Monday-Friday
- Home every evening
- 40 hours a week
- Load trucks according to paperwork
- Work in the shop as needed
- Maintain clean, well presentable trucks
- Ensure sufficient fluid levels & tire pressure
- Will use all company equipment
- Stay on top of shipping schedule
- Follow company procedures and paperwork
- Greet customer with warm enthusiasm
Required Qualities
- Able to easily climb on and off a trailer
- Class A CDL
- Clean driving record
- No violations within last year
- Lift 60lbs
- Safety conscious
- Team Player
- Able to communicate well
