I love the throwback, it’s so fun ! I’d love to see a “nail art through the decades” type series .
Agreed!’
I love that you dove into the author’s history and linked to her current projects instead of just using the book for content and moving on. That’s real support right there!
Seriously!! I just went and bought two of her books, I've never really seen someone go into the history of nail art or someones nail journey :)
I would LOVE to see this as a series! These designs were so cool, and definitely gave a throwback vibe.
doing one nail is a different design from the books would be so fun!!
Nail history is something I never knew i needed but i loved this!!
Absolutely continue!
A full set with 10 different randomly chosen designs from this book would be a nice way to see more of the designs ☺️
Def want more of these.. would love to see you following the book for 1 nail then doing your own spin on it for the next
I really enjoyed the information you told us as you doing your nails.
It be awesome if you kept doing more nail art videos from the two books,it was a throwback definitely. I love it.
I'm loving the stained glass nails ❤ and yes, please do more designs from the book! It's giving old school and I'm here for it
Ahhh I saw the thumbnail and my jaw dropped! I got this book from urban outfitters in 2012 and I did pretty much every design 🥰 so nostalgic! I would beg my mum to take me to London so I could get my nails done at WAH - never happened 😂
A striper or “striping polish” is a bottle of nail polish where the brush is a skinny striping brush. It’s all attached, like a regular bottle of nail polish but skinny
On a Sunday is a pleasure, especially when I’m off
It would be neat to see more old/vintage styles and hear more about nail history and the people involved
I would love to see more of this!! It was so fun to see "retro" designs on long, modern nails.
Emily can always make my days a little bit better!!!
Loved learning nail art history!
Oh wow, I love the idea of you basing a video around a book. Can not wait to watch! Would you be able to tell me where you purchased your liner brush that has water/glitter flowing through the brush & it is yellow & blue? I am assuming it is a set, so I would love to add to my collection ❤
Glitter planet/nail mate! :)
@EmilySusanah Thank you so much. It was really interesting learning about the nail influencer & the work she has done. Please do more videos like this. Love history in general, lol 🖤
This was so cute idea and I felt like you talking about the book made it even better.
I'm obessed with japanese nail art like the sucre salon so I think it would be fun to if there're even books about japanese nail art.
I'd love to see you do more designs from this book!
Pretty sure I got this exact book on one of my birthdays back in the day 🥹 so cute!
I love the stained glass nails 😍 please do more from this book
Definitely do a series! Definitely do more! So cool and I’m glad you talked about the author!
Oh I would love that this would become a series!!!!
We need a series on them!! I was sure the stained glass would be my fave but I ended up loving the blue ones!
I loved this video! Shouts to you for sharing her story. That acronym is hilarious. I’m going to look her up and get a book. Please more designs from the books! They look so neat on our modern way of wearing nails long or short.
It would be so much content to just pick out a different design every week. It is so much fun to watch. I can't wait to c more!!❤❤❤ plus you could do your updated take on some of those designs. Can't wait for the next one!
I appreciated the information provided as much as the designs today. Thanks!
I love the throwback art - I'd love to see a series of it, through the decades or finishing out this book - but I'd LOVE even MORE a series highlighting important women like Sharmadean Reid.
Loved this, more please!
I love the way both came out! Yes, do more!
Its crazy how far nail art has came like the fact most people didnt use gel polish at home just 10-15 years ago
I love this! Yes, History of nails series! More design from the book!
You should do more of this, I love your challenges. It's just more interesting than just doing a set. You always add a fun twist.
Omg Emily! How incredibly enduring of you to not only entertain us with nails, but to educated us about them too 💅🏾 you are truly amazing ❤ yes please keep this up! Make it a series if you dare 💅🏾😍 I’m all in
i love that you go into depth about the backstory for the book!
I would definitely love you dive into a series of this. Really enjoyed watching ❤❤❤
I absolutely love this format! You should do nail history while doing your nails more! I’m obsessed and think this is a genius!
Your designs are amazing. You guide and inspire in great detail. Thank you very much💖
More of this! from this book, loved it!!!
I absolutely loved this video and the concept I would love to watch more videos like this that give a little peek into history of nail design and have you re-creating these designs.
Yes ❤ to see you do more of the nail books I love it
I say yes !! Do more !! I really loved hearing her story. What great idea. Love .
This is a brilliant idea, I'd love to see you do lots more of these designs ❤
I love this idea and history lesson. Would love to learn about more people in the industry! And I'd enjoy watching you do different designs on each nail from the books!
I would love to see you do a throw back design mixed with what’s trending now. ❤
Please make this a series! I loved getting to go pick the products with you. IDK if I’ve seen that before on your channel. 🚀
Apart from the draw my nails series I think this is my favorite video from your channel
I would love to see you doing more of the designs. You look so beautiful with this hair!
These are so cute, Emily. Please do this again.
Every time I watch one of your videos, I’m always inspired to step out of my comfort zone. Thank you for that encouragement 😅
PLEEEEEEASE TURN THE BOOK IN TO A *series* !! It’s so cool seeing where we started 😎😏😂😂😂
You are so pretty and you are so good at nails. I started doing my nails at home becuse of you so thank you so much.
100% would love to see more like this!! It was amazing to be educated on the author too! Love it!!
i genuinely enjoyed listening to the author's info and the history of the book. Also, the basketcase nails are such a throwback, it reminds me of the tribal design trend from 2012
This was so interesting and so much fun! I also always appreciate when you show that you don't get things perfect the first time. It has really helped my confidence, because you always persevere and make something incredible. ❤
Seriously!! I can get so down on myself for the time it takes or mistakes but I love these awesome nail girls who are real with us
I loved this! So interesting! And I loved the stained glass design.
When you first mentioned the idea I thought it was going to be an almost diary from a tech that had a book of nail designs.I’m so happy to be wrong! I loved how you talked about the author and what they are up to now.
Omg WAH nails! I remember that salon I went there to get my nails done once, literally best nail salon in London. It’s so hard to get fun designs done here, most salons don’t want to do anything too extravagant, it’s why i started doing my own nails.
These books are so good I can’t stop using. Easy to learn styles and techniques thanks Emily 😊
I think IT IS so amazing that you educated yourself (and us) about this author!!
I love how this video was done! The designs were gorgeous I’d love if you did a nail art history series while you do your nails!
I loooove this video idea, definitely will like more from the same or the second book 💕
I love everything about this video from the books to the dive into the author and then recreating designs definitely make this a series plz plz 🫶
I have a nail art book somewhere, would have to find it first because I don't remember the name of it. It has some really cool designs in it. I'd love to see you do more designs out of the books 🙂
I would love to hear more about nail history!!!
I love all your videos
Please make more videos on this!! This is one of my favorite videos you've ever made ❤❤❤
i would also love to watch a nail art history series thing!
these 2 sets are so cute! I would love to see more designs from this book, or see your interpretation of some of these designs 🥰
please do more of this. it was so interesting
I love this video, not only for the cute nails but for the history lessons as well, Now I am curious about these types of books/magazines, I'll definitely look forward to these types of videos as well, keep up the good work 💜💜💜💜
I loved this and enjoyed you talking about the author and history. Would love to see a pt2 on the next book!
Love this idea and would love for you to go further into this idea!
This was such a fun video! Definitely a throwback. I think it would even be fun to go to tumblr and find some throwback designs to recreate
I love this!!! Definitely more videos like this would be so fun! I also loved learning about the author as well. Learning about why the industry is what it is today is so interesting.
💗💗💗
Please do more! I love this. So fun and you did great! ❤
I'm new to your channel, but I love this! Very fun, and as someone born in the 80's, looking at the pages of the books brought back a lot of nostalgia 😂 but also cool to see how far the nail art industry has progressed since then.
Id definitely love a series like this! I used to have nail art books as a kid. They were part of the Klutz series of books from the early 2000s. Which would be so fun and nostalgic!
Yes do more! I love this idea!!
❤❤❤these are fantastic beautiful....love them...such a great find and job Emily....
I love this! I’m in nail school and I love Learning history regarding nails and nail designs. Thank you Emily🩷✨
I loved this kind of entertainment!!
Love the history and you should definitely make this a series! Well done!! 🙌
I love watching your TH-cam. We do not have a nail store or manicure shop but my husband bought me some nail supplies to do my own nails. We live way up north and everything is expensive even on Amazon but he manages to get me nail supplies.
Yes please do more!! Love this!!
I loved this! Kinda wish you did 5 designs one on each nail. Would love to see more from this
YES give us the series!!
I loved this video. I loved the blue with line art, but most of all, you used books. The Cherry 🍒 on top was the woman behind the story. You put all of these things together and created an awesome video. Great Job Emily Susanah. I would love to see more videos with themes.
That was such a fun video! Both sets came out so cute! I love how easy the steps were (they SEEMED easy 😂), but the nail designs look more complex, so cool!
I would love to see more from book 1 and definitely also stuff from the second one 💖
This was a super interesting concept for a video! I’d love to see you do another video on the second book or even another video using the first book, super entertaining and fun!
This scratches my adhd brains nail art hyperfixation so good. ❤ more please!
omg please make this a series, if possible. i loooooved it!!
The stained glass nails came out so pretty!
This is an awesome idea, would absolutely love more nail art history
Love this as a series! Love learning about the evolution of nail art!
Such a fun idea! I would love to see more videos with this book ❤
I would love to see a series out of this! Maybe pick a random design for each nail
Omg....this was so nostalgic! I remember trying these cute simple designs back in the day! 🩷
I would love another video of you doing more nail art out of that book ❤
