I love that you dove into the author’s history and linked to her current projects instead of just using the book for content and moving on. That’s real support right there!
I really enjoyed the information you told us as you doing your nails. It be awesome if you kept doing more nail art videos from the two books,it was a throwback definitely. I love it.
I loved this video! Shouts to you for sharing her story. That acronym is hilarious. I’m going to look her up and get a book. Please more designs from the books! They look so neat on our modern way of wearing nails long or short.
I love the throwback art - I'd love to see a series of it, through the decades or finishing out this book - but I'd LOVE even MORE a series highlighting important women like Sharmadean Reid.
Ahhh I saw the thumbnail and my jaw dropped! I got this book from urban outfitters in 2012 and I did pretty much every design 🥰 so nostalgic! I would beg my mum to take me to London so I could get my nails done at WAH - never happened 😂
This was so interesting and so much fun! I also always appreciate when you show that you don't get things perfect the first time. It has really helped my confidence, because you always persevere and make something incredible. ❤
This was so cute idea and I felt like you talking about the book made it even better. I'm obessed with japanese nail art like the sucre salon so I think it would be fun to if there're even books about japanese nail art.
It would be so much content to just pick out a different design every week. It is so much fun to watch. I can't wait to c more!!❤❤❤ plus you could do your updated take on some of those designs. Can't wait for the next one!
I absolutely loved this video and the concept I would love to watch more videos like this that give a little peek into history of nail design and have you re-creating these designs.
I love this idea and history lesson. Would love to learn about more people in the industry! And I'd enjoy watching you do different designs on each nail from the books!
A striper or “striping polish” is a bottle of nail polish where the brush is a skinny striping brush. It’s all attached, like a regular bottle of nail polish but skinny
It’s really amazing that the double French tip was denied or couldn’t be replicated bc I see that so much these days like it amazing to see how far we’ve come
Oh wow, I love the idea of you basing a video around a book. Can not wait to watch! Would you be able to tell me where you purchased your liner brush that has water/glitter flowing through the brush & it is yellow & blue? I am assuming it is a set, so I would love to add to my collection ❤
@EmilySusanah Thank you so much. It was really interesting learning about the nail influencer & the work she has done. Please do more videos like this. Love history in general, lol 🖤
Omg Emily! How incredibly enduring of you to not only entertain us with nails, but to educated us about them too 💅🏾 you are truly amazing ❤ yes please keep this up! Make it a series if you dare 💅🏾😍 I’m all in
Id definitely love a series like this! I used to have nail art books as a kid. They were part of the Klutz series of books from the early 2000s. Which would be so fun and nostalgic!
I love this!!! Definitely more videos like this would be so fun! I also loved learning about the author as well. Learning about why the industry is what it is today is so interesting. 💗💗💗
Omg WAH nails! I remember that salon I went there to get my nails done once, literally best nail salon in London. It’s so hard to get fun designs done here, most salons don’t want to do anything too extravagant, it’s why i started doing my own nails.
This was such a cool idea, I love seeing nail art from back in the 90s and the early 2000s. I definitely think you should revisit this book and explore some of the other artwork. 🥰🥰🥰
That was such a fun video! Both sets came out so cute! I love how easy the steps were (they SEEMED easy 😂), but the nail designs look more complex, so cool!
i genuinely enjoyed listening to the author's info and the history of the book. Also, the basketcase nails are such a throwback, it reminds me of the tribal design trend from 2012
Hey, Emily. You look absolutely ethereal right now. Your skin is glowing and you remind me of some kind of really whimsical fairy. Just thought I should mention it, because you are stunning❤️
I hope the lady sees this video. Can you imagine how good you would feet to see one of the top TH-cam nail artists to be using your book as a reference for a video ❤❤❤
This was a super interesting concept for a video! I’d love to see you do another video on the second book or even another video using the first book, super entertaining and fun!
I have a nail art book somewhere, would have to find it first because I don't remember the name of it. It has some really cool designs in it. I'd love to see you do more designs out of the books 🙂
I'm new to your channel, but I love this! Very fun, and as someone born in the 80's, looking at the pages of the books brought back a lot of nostalgia 😂 but also cool to see how far the nail art industry has progressed since then.
I loved this video. I loved the blue with line art, but most of all, you used books. The Cherry 🍒 on top was the woman behind the story. You put all of these things together and created an awesome video. Great Job Emily Susanah. I would love to see more videos with themes.
I love anything you create. You are so talented, and this was a cool video. I like the throwback. TFS. I would love to see you do a graffiti set . I’ve been working on that. 💋💋❤️❤️🩷🩷
Very nice - I love the positivity in the story, and really enjoyed hearing it as you did your nails. I would love to see more of these designs, very reminiscent of my first attempts at nail art, as well, but also just the time period.
I love the throwback, it’s so fun ! I’d love to see a “nail art through the decades” type series .
Agreed!’
I love that you dove into the author’s history and linked to her current projects instead of just using the book for content and moving on. That’s real support right there!
Seriously!! I just went and bought two of her books, I've never really seen someone go into the history of nail art or someones nail journey :)
I would LOVE to see this as a series! These designs were so cool, and definitely gave a throwback vibe.
Nail history is something I never knew i needed but i loved this!!
Absolutely continue!
doing one nail is a different design from the books would be so fun!!
Def want more of these.. would love to see you following the book for 1 nail then doing your own spin on it for the next
A full set with 10 different randomly chosen designs from this book would be a nice way to see more of the designs ☺️
I really enjoyed the information you told us as you doing your nails.
It be awesome if you kept doing more nail art videos from the two books,it was a throwback definitely. I love it.
I'm loving the stained glass nails ❤ and yes, please do more designs from the book! It's giving old school and I'm here for it
Its crazy how far nail art has came like the fact most people didnt use gel polish at home just 10-15 years ago
I loved this video! Shouts to you for sharing her story. That acronym is hilarious. I’m going to look her up and get a book. Please more designs from the books! They look so neat on our modern way of wearing nails long or short.

Your designs are amazing. You guide and inspire in great detail. Thank you very much💖
This was so interesting and so much fun! I also always appreciate when you show that you don't get things perfect the first time. It has really helped my confidence, because you always persevere and make something incredible. ❤
Seriously!! I can get so down on myself for the time it takes or mistakes but I love these awesome nail girls who are real with us
I would love to see more of this!! It was so fun to see "retro" designs on long, modern nails.
We need a series on them!! I was sure the stained glass would be my fave but I ended up loving the blue ones!
It would be neat to see more old/vintage styles and hear more about nail history and the people involved
This was so cute idea and I felt like you talking about the book made it even better.
I'm obessed with japanese nail art like the sucre salon so I think it would be fun to if there're even books about japanese nail art.
You should do more of this, I love your challenges. It's just more interesting than just doing a set. You always add a fun twist.
Definitely do a series! Definitely do more! So cool and I’m glad you talked about the author!
Emily can always make my days a little bit better!!!
It would be so much content to just pick out a different design every week. It is so much fun to watch. I can't wait to c more!!❤❤❤ plus you could do your updated take on some of those designs. Can't wait for the next one!
Oh I would love that this would become a series!!!!
Love the history and you should definitely make this a series! Well done!! 🙌
I absolutely loved this video and the concept I would love to watch more videos like this that give a little peek into history of nail design and have you re-creating these designs.
I love this idea and history lesson. Would love to learn about more people in the industry! And I'd enjoy watching you do different designs on each nail from the books!
