It was SO nice meeting yall after the concert! Thank you for being just as kind and lovely in person as you are on camera! And loved getting to re-live the concert through this pod episode!❄💘 edit: PALOMA IM SO GLAD YOU DIDNT GET HIT BY A CAR LMAO THANK YOU JESS FOR BARBARA MANTEE-ING
the way I costume submitted “powerpuff girls and jess as professor x” and y’all delivered! 🤪 best thing ever paired with the renee rapp podcast omg it’s giving everything to me. loved this episode, as someone who also saw renee in LA but went alone, it felt like this was the debrief with friends I was missing lol. 🤗 your hint for next week’s costume was so vague but for some reason my mind went musical theatre straight to wicked? both witches and dorothy maybe? I guess we’ll see 🤔
Haven't even watched it yet, but I saw the notification, and it honestly made my day more than I can explain. I desperately need a friend at the moment, and though I don't have the ability to see a friend today, I have access to this video, and that's about as close as it gets to the same thing. Thank you for creating awesome content that is like an emotional hug to consume. Appreciate you, humans 🥰
first of all, love the veggie tales and power puff girls chats such a childhood nostalgia! And second, thanks so much for talking about hearing health with concerts! It’s very important and I love loop ear plugs; I’m an audiology student and I wear them to my college’s football games all the time they’re great! Noise induced hearing loss is one of the top most common ways to lose hearing and once it’s gone it can’t come back so protecting your hearing is so important! thank you for spreading that insight and awareness
Girls! Not you feeling old in the pit. I was on my first proper concert (Pentatonix) in the spring at 41yo and a 13 yo girl next to me sat at the floor next to me for the last bit of the concert. It was standing only. I was so hyped to finally see them (Germany) - I stood the whole time.
It was so perfect that this podcast came out yesterday and I saw Renee yesterday in Chicago! Now I’m watching this today and feeling so excited all over again. Thanks for sharing. 💕
Ive never once heard of “Barbara Manatee” nor do I recall ever watching Veggie Tales but I just listened to “Endangered Love” and it honestly an iconic work of art, thank you so much for bringing this into my life 😭😭
Live music just hits differently. I haven’t been to a concert since December 2019 (Mumford & Sons), and I miss it so much. But finally going to a show on Black Friday. Hearing you chat about how much fun you had at Renee brought me so much joy!
Never been this early. But I just want to say, I watch and listen to your podcast every week and I usually listen to it at least 3 times because it’s that good ❤️👏 thank you for being so real
Oh my god. I never heard of Renee Rapp before so I was like ok fiiiiiine I’ll listen and I went to in the kitchen and I was CRYINGGGG by 0:47 😭😭😭 HER VOICE IS SO BEAUTIFUL AND I DON’T KNOW HOW YOU COULD DO THIS TO YOURSELF AHHH IT’S PAINFUL
Ohh I’m so excited you answered! I’m always curious of everyone’s opinion on that! My professor put it as, everything matters, maybe just not to you in that moment.
Renee isn’t touring in my state so I’m living vicariously through y’all 😭 Also, I have TEARS in my eyes because of Paloma screaming Cruel Summer with her whole chest 😂
As far as the Group chat question, a mentor taught me to help weigh how much something matters by the timeline of impact. For example when I'm stressed about not sending an email I said I would, will it matter in a week? Maybe. But will it matter in a year? No. So I can spend the appropriate amount of time concerned about it.
I think in terms of who's voice matters, this is a conversation that needs to be had about giving back voice and power to marginalized communities. In terms of everything mattering, context is really what matters... that is my big sister answer
Sierra being stressed out by the idea of choices creating split timelines is interesting to me as I actually find that comforting that if something went badly maybe the other me is doing well 😅
I'm sorry, P but the story of the girls has me cracking up because it's how I feel sometimes when y'all say 30 is so far away and old and I've been over that threshold for a year or two now 🤣 I'm like "haha yeah so old. Couldn't be me 🥹"
I think everything can matter, but who are we to know what little decision or thing actually is the one that matters the most?! Maybe we realise in the long run or we already know beforehand. But in the end most things could make a huge difference or they could not matter at all or years later make a difference, who knows ... :D

This podcast brings me so much joy and I was like they should’ve posted today and then I caught it three minutes after

This was such a fun ep! Just listened today in prep for seeing Renee tonight. The wedding song is my fave - can’t wait to hear her vocals IRL 🥰
I re-listened to Riayn say “bRoAdWaYyYy” like ten times
lmfaooo let me just add that to my resume 💀
Y'all came THROUGH with the Powerpuff Girls and Jess as Professor Utonium!! These are perfect 💗💙💚

Damn I was at this concert! Wish I had run into you guys but I can tell we had a similar experience. Renee is amazing 🖤 and so are all of you!

Loved the concert discussion! Can picture the whole bathroom debacle, lol. Also the Barbara Manatee reference/discussion brought much joy!!
Never been this early. But I just want to say, I watch and listen to your podcast every week and I usually listen to it at least 3 times because it’s that good ❤️👏 thank you for being so real
I was dying laughing at this whole podcast 😂 so funny such an amazing experience that you all shared together

Ohh I’m so excited you answered! I’m always curious of everyone’s opinion on that! My professor put it as, everything matters, maybe just not to you in that moment.
The way Riayn says “broadwayyy” I died 😂😂😂
Highly recommend the loop earbuds! I use them in big social settings and concerts and literal lifesaver
Can you guys drop the outfit links? Planning these outfits for my girls for our Halloween trip to Vegas!
Renee isn’t touring in my state so I’m living vicariously through y’all 😭
Also, I have TEARS in my eyes because of Paloma screaming Cruel Summer with her whole chest 😂
Next episode has to be boyz in motion 😅
I BET ITS THE SCHUYLER SISTERS
I have never heard of Renee, but you got me with Barbara Manatee

Jess is my favorite hands down
same
those girls paloma met thinking renee is like 27 when she has a song called 23 singing about TURNING TWENTY-THREE please what were they on😭
Next year I need the Schuyler sisters!
For me i heard of her because of mean girls but really started liking her music and acting and sex lives of college girls was what made me a fan
such a slay!🩷🩵💚
I look forward to the pod every Wednesday!!
Paloma, great advice with Your attention is your greatest currency
It's Phil Visher that does the voice of Bob and many other characters actually. Lol I follow him on Twitter.
Paloma at 6:31, period 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Sierra being stressed out by the idea of choices creating split timelines is interesting to me as I actually find that comforting that if something went badly maybe the other me is doing well 😅
Missed opportunity to block off half of Jessica’s face to give real professor vibes
for next year's halloween can yall do hello kitty, kuromi and my melody :)))
YAS POWERPUFF GIRLS OMG
Me and my bestie wore loops when we saw Taylor Swift and they were AMAZING
Sierra looks amazing 😍 puffy and chubby but beautiful as hell! Great job girls!
Yay this is so good
fan of renee rapp now wow she's good
I'm sorry, P but the story of the girls has me cracking up because it's how I feel sometimes when y'all say 30 is so far away and old and I've been over that threshold for a year or two now 🤣 I'm like "haha yeah so old. Couldn't be me 🥹"
I see the LA Croix👀
❤ Wednesday is the bestest day!!! ❤
I hate thinking that im early just to realize that TH-cam pop the notification almost 40 min later 😢
Best concert experience I ever had was going to see Weird Al. Make of that what you will.
I think everything can matter, but who are we to know what little decision or thing actually is the one that matters the most?! Maybe we realise in the long run or we already know beforehand. But in the end most things could make a huge difference or they could not matter at all or years later make a difference, who knows ... :D
p, I was also bubbles as a little girl 🥹💙 although I didn’t have the creepy eye mask 😆😭💀💓
You can still sing in your PP costumes!!!! I'd pay money for that
Happy Wednesday!!!!
Mean girls as the next costume?
OMG SHUT UP I LOVE THIS😱😱👏🏼👏🏼10/10
it kills me that people thought reneé was 27, when one of the songs on the album is 23 and google is free
Angelica, Eliza, and Peggy
Missed opportunity, Paloma you should have said you're TwentyWhatever!
Love these costumes but Riayn that color looks amazing on you. You need to wear that dress as an actual outfit.
ahhh thank you!
When in doubt, always use the boys bathroom
I wear earplugs in zumba class
Has Sierra seen the lord of the beans?
So I fell in love with Renee rap from sex life of college girls
4:25 Alvin and the chipmunks
BARBARA MANATEEEEE
Sugar spice and CHEMICAL X
First ❤❤❤
YASSSSSSS
Renee invented no real artistic skills
