As Mirage enjoyer I haven't used him once after the health bar started showing. The change really makes Mirage and Octane useless. If I am being completely honest I don't like this change. And this comes from Rev main who benefits from this kinda health bar update (Q pushing).
They should just remove the health bar or at least add a level cap to it since new players was the argument for adding it. Players below tier 1 level 100 could have it for example.
I love playing mirage, just playing around pretending to be a decoy or even casting one and having it near me and playing mind games with the enemies is the best
11:00 agree 100% that with purple armor a headshot from a Kraber should be a knock. Due to the long time between shots and the limited ammo I honestly don't pick it up now because of that. When I do it's just to troll people because they are still scared when they hear it. It's easier to get a knock with a longbow because of the fast fire rate. Unless someone is running in the open you are never following up a Kraber headshot with another shot in order to get the down. It's a waste, I mean maybe you can widdle away at their heals, or hit a clutch shot when the final circle is closing as people run out of cover.

I'm so glad to hear you say Plat lobbies aren't the same old plat lobbies they used to be. I thought I was the only one having some trouble here and there. Thought I all of a sudden got worse lol.
The healthbar change has gotten me shot and killed maybe 70%+ more than it used to because even if u pop into cover before hitting it, the health bar lingers so long its no longer a viable escape OR confusion strat. Lower skilled players can punish it much easier too. Which is a shame because I enjoyed it in both offensive and defensive scenarios, but now it's completely useless if you've taken damage at all in the last 5 seconds. And oftentimes his ult just doesn't feel useful nor fun to use before an engagement. It's a shame he used to be one of my favourites if I want to play a FUN game, but now he feels so weak
They ruined the whole POINT of mirage…. His whole kit is to be sneaky and obviously to bamboozle now it’s harder. Good players already can tell where he’s resing and which footpath to listen for when he ults. They ruined him

Wait, so you're saying the decoys don't have the same health bar if he pops ult after getting damaged? I knew he was already easy enough to spot because the decoys don't get your weapon skins and your weapon states are inconsistent (yours is up while theirs are out or vice versa, but this one isn't 100% like the weapon skin), but this is just sad. :(
Bruh I feel personally attacked being a mirage main. He’s very good for me and I 1v3 a lot tbh I’m only gold 3 atm though so could be why be he’s honestly so awkward to fight
Honestly mirage feels way better than he used to. Double tac bamboozles is so good and if you were popping an ult while getting shot you were probably still getting hit and tracked without health bars. The invisibility is only okay. Hackers is a rough one though.
Ye the cheaters in apex now is a complete joke its really starting to annoy me as i love playing apex but i always put it on the back burner due to cheaters
7:15 I'm a og player and I don't have this setting on I like the og feel better and I still play as good without indicators trust me you should try it helps a lot I find that I get nervous with it on with it off I just flow
hey, what controller do you use? because i see a lot of pro players on controller picking items up and moving their r3 stick. its so hard for me to do that considering i have to take my finger off my r3 to press square.
Literally played since drop, I have not purchased Mirage till this day 🤣🤣🤣 I have 3 million too so you know I really don't wanna purchase ole boy. Mirage, Vantage, Ballistic, Fuse and Ash 😭 Fuse and Ash got purchased to try em out before this update we have now to test em without buyibg
