It’s not Xornoth, it’s Skeletron. Joey’s ship was attacked by Skeleton in the opening sequence of his first episode and he has had a vendetta since.

I don't think Xornoth is gonna come back since empires Season 2 is a whole new story.

it makes sense for x to sent to the pirate place, because there was a time, back in season 7, where hermits stated he swore like a pirate. and cleo to. lol

I’ve been waiting for X’s POV to see what he was up to since he wasn’t really in anyone else’s episodes yesterday. So excited to see X interact with the rest of the members!!
For a lot of the videos yesterday I assumed I had misremembered that Cleo and X went into the Rift at the end of Grian's video last weekend. Then in one person's POV I saw that they were hanging out with Joey, and I realized that they just didn't do a lot of wandering between Empires like everybody else.
CleoX and XCleo are an amazing duo.
This pirate lore reminded me of a fact I recently learned.
So you know, the walk the plank thing, so the plank is same as the plank pirates use to get on and off of ship when docked. So walking the plank is not scary because of the presence of the plank but the absent of the dock

Also, I thought this was only gonna be a 1 episode crossover but apparently it's just another big chapter to season 9. So far there has been 4.

Love it! The Empires staying in their roles and the Hermits exploring new land is so entertaining! So adorable seeing you and Cleo stepping out of the box having so genuine fun with the roleplay and the features of the Empires Server.
I never thought I would see X, Cleo and Joey in the same screen but I'm here for it! Very exciting!!!
X and Cleo together is so much fun! I especially liked the part where X tries to hide from a creeper by placing a torch. 😂

I got a feeling that RenTheKing and his right hand isn't over yet. Those two are some of the most active members on the server and yet they didn't come with the other hermits through the rift. Very suspicious...

@@iloveowls90 yeah, but they're still on Hermitcraft. I don't see a reason why Bdubs and Ren wouldn't be invited to the rift.

@@BFF.Studios Ren and BDubs always take part of whatever big event HC has and have never missed a single get-together of the whole group (including the Life series). Do you actually think them not online at the time is THAT shallow?
It might just be that they wanted to take a break tbh, they were just main characters in a very intensive storyline after all. (or maybe Ren’s GigaCorp storyline will tie into this? Rosie tells Ren to find a way to reopen the Rift and “save” his friends?)

I have a basic idea on how they can continue this "lore" where both sides seem to have a conflict with each other. Assumably actions that over time build up and would eventually lead to a "multiversal war". Preferably on a separate world where they battlr it out to the death.
Which brings us into the next Life series!

Of all the collabs on TH-cam I've seen throughout the years, Joey collabing with X and Cleo is probably top most inconceivable collabs. And it works so well! I love it.
I never ever thought X and Joey would ever even talk to each other, let alone be on the same server/side
X and Cleo causing trouble as pirates is one of the best things I've seen yet with the crossover, can't wait to see that progress. Loving this!
I really hope this crossover event is a long term thing! I'd like to see the hermits survive and thrive in this world and leave their mark.

Y'know, near spawn there is a gigantic bridge where each empire has a statue representing them, and Pirate Joey has a BIG parrot statue. Since you are pirates of the Eversea now, you should totally build your fat parrots next to it :) you deserve it after all :)

Actually, history lesson: Back in the ye olden days people who didn't know how to swim were hired on purpose so they wouldn't abandon ship during emergencies.

I love the crossover and it feels sort of like a test to see how well the Hermitcraft community truly takes to mods and texture packs and stuff. Season 8 had a bit more of it from the Hermits and it didn't go over as well as it could have I'd say. However the reception for the crossover is overwhelmingly supportive so far. It's interesting to see

Don't mind this collab. Unsure how long the Hermits will be visiting Empires but it'll interesting to see how this goes. Also, it's funny to think that some Hermits are already members of Empires. Those being False, Gem, and Pearl.
