S2000 engines are so much easier to to just drop the subframe rather than pulling the engine out of the bay. Great content👍🏼
Dude, I remember when you picked this car from goonzquad. It was pretty much a shell..... you guy did a great job turning a red oem paint into yellow. Great job swapping the motor, was surprised that it started that quickly.
Put that strut tower brace back in it too...will help stiffen up the front end when cornering and such
You should change the instrument cluster from the blue car to the yellow one to match the mileage 😊
you should use that factory airbox. Keep this car as stock as possible. Unmolested. Little red parts car has come a long way. Nice job, guys.
I love that yellow. Painting that whole shell may have been a pain Ben but I guess it will last a lot longer!
Looks great! I’ve owned 11 s2000’s and have always loved them. Two minor suggestions- paint the headlight brackets either black or yellow, that car is too nice to have those miscolored pieces on there, especially with everything else looking so nice. Second, it looks like the H emblem on the front bumper is crooked, may need a slight adjustment. Keep up the good work!
You’re just not picking now. Settle down buddy
Gotta show goonzquad , take it to em and get their reaction
While the engine was out of the car it would have been a great time to replace the timing belts etc.
I agree although they were in hurry here and i am pretty sure the owner will done more as Ben explained by the end of the clip seats, door cards, exhaust, rubber-belts new air-filter are on the way etc.. they just wanted to make it run to make more room inside the shop for Ben's next projects.. as it is the little Honda S2000 turned awesome..
Clutch and rear main seal too
@@poplaurentiu4148the S2000 uses a timing chain kinda like k20/24's
@@bradbozarth3235 Ok but it still have what is called "accessories belt" that if you look at any stock OEM un-modified factory S2000 and is positioned outside te engine behind the front air filter box and connect alternator, oil-pump, water pump, climatic pump and other pulleys and sometimes the fan for cooling radiator in front ? that is usually a rubber-belt not chain.
Do you see a timing belt cover? lol
Vtuned, I have so much respect for you. I see you have absolutely no problem working alone so long as the job is getting done. Great job 👍
This was such a great video Ben! You & Victor knocked it out of the park. Too bad the little blue guy had to give its life, but that’s the way it goes sometimes. Be sure and do another follow up video when Victor finishes everything up. See you in the next installment.
I'd put the engine, wheels and taillights, interior panels from the blue one. Looks amazing!
Tell him to straighten that Honda logo. 😂
It fell off a bit later, don’t think it was even attached
You are an awesome mechanic...car builder...like all your videos it has inspired me to fix my own car.. great job Ben...God bless you and your family
😅
"act like you're working..." LOL 15:47
Glad to see you catching up on older projects, makes shop look good.just keep focusing on the cars, finish up others, that way you can possibly decide to sell some them and clean up your outside of shop.kudos to you and your friends for helping you out.just continue on doing what your doing.great video 👍👍👍😎😎😎
Great video Ben. Of course it ran first time...that's just the way your life is running...good!
May your good fortune continue. Cheers from the UK, Bob
Your quite the mechanic Vtune. Replaced a transmission in a C8 Corvette and installed an engine in a S2000. Pretty cool how the S2000 started right up.. Good job!
Awesome as always. Thanks for sharing and taking us along
Nice work and another one out of the door to a proud new owner! 🙏
Looks good! Nice job guys!
Now to see that old Mustang run again
Great job guys...I love the S2000 so fun to drive...
Ben, you make it look so easy. You’re quite talented!
Great work as always thanks vTuned
Got yourself a sweet ride. Get a short shift upgrade, extend the pipe after the ball joint down on the shifter. Makes for fun driving.
You the man V.👍
Cranked right up after years. Honda. Good stuff. Nice content
Ben, great job as always! You’re a fine young man! If the wheels on the donor car are OEM, I think black would look better on the yellow car. Either way, it looks amazing!
Good to see that project come to an end. Awesome work bud.
That's a fastest engine swap ever seen my life man you guys do great work
incredible transformation!
That engine in proces was beautifully filmed. Thank you.
Great work man
I wasn't surprised it started right up, you and all your brothers are skilled
Wow The Honda finally on the road. Looking great. Great that the car is staying in the family. Take care.
Awesome job!
Dude!! I love your work!
Love the yellow! You really ought to put the strut brace in. These cars are a little heavy and on the turns, especially since it's a convertible, you'll get some body flex.
Put the cr gauge cluster in the yellow 2k
Keep going i like these hondas videos !! Whats next acura nsx ? 🤭
again Ben, you are a magician , love to watch you do your magic
Great to see you pumping content again Ben!
Thank you Ben, for another awesome video!😎👍💯🔥🔥🔥
FYI for the S, the proper brake bleed procedure is RF, LF, LR, RR. It's a bit funky and irregular but that is what's recommended.
Nice work guys
Don't sell the Power Steering Rack for the S2000, they are like "Hens Teeth" to find if yours goes bad.
Hondas! fires right up!
Dang son this is awesome!
Honda power maan! You will love this motor/car!
Nice! Keep it goin 💪
Great job
great stuff thanks
Spiff my boy!!! 👌🏻
Magnificent job👍👍🤞
Cute lil cars to go touring in!
Brilliant job well done 💆🏿♂️👍
Another great video
it must be satisfying to get a car driving after completely rebuilding it like you did.
Love that color.
🌴was wondering when you were gonna finish it , I’ve gotta say it’s a pretty sweet ride , could use a little fine tuning but your bro can handle that , 👍😁
V tune does not edit out his bloopers. I love it
Powdercoat black the strut bar. Thought you had the original from the green car the goons had. That engine was definitely rebuildable. Car came out great looking
nice hope to se it finis
I liked when you said "act like you are working" ! Lol
It took a while but I think it was worth the wait to get exactly what you want. Thanks Ben.
I love it when v-tuned glitches 2:20
Car looks sweet
Good Job guys, a few bugs and your off to happy motoring.
monster!!!!!!!
I was coming here to mention how the [H] emblem looked crooked but then I saw when you took the bumper off, it wasn't put on properly yet, phew, lol. Amazing car
Put the cr speedometer in it for the originality 😊
Good job ❤
Ben that's great for the older project ,now we are demanding 1965 mastang

Awesome i Like it
@DM-Official_vTunedGarage wasap?
Tell Victor Igor Prus says hi from oregon, miss that dude
It's about time
So cool. My dream car ❤
Saludos bro. haces que todo parezca muy fácil
It's time to pave the driveway VTuned.
I recently did a video trying to bleed the brakes on my 2004 expedition with the same vacuum pump tool and I found out that I will need to use a scan tool to bleed the ABS system. So I ordered a tool that has this funtionality (not all do) and when it arrives I will bleed the air out of the abs unit by pushing a button and watching the air bubbles cycle out of the unit. I bought a cgsulit sc630 scan tool on ebay for $136 to perform the ABS bleed.
tnx for the video
This man tried to slam the hood down 😂😂😂
Hey VV tune next time you go to the junkyard, go to the minivan section and get the longest seatbelts you can cut it out and then you use it for all your engine pooling works like a dream get as many seatbelts as you want. They are strong will the dead thing that you was using to put the 2000 engine in so seatbelts buddy
That's not fair we want to see it fully finished come on man
I agree 👍 I want goonzquads reaction to it too since it was their parts car
Goonz don’t care
