@@rahma8706 This is even more false than the original quote , The claim that Islam granted women financial independence and inheritance rights 1,200 years before Western women is misleading and ignores the rich history of women’s rights across ancient civilizations. Long before Islam’s emergence, societies like the Indus Valley Civilization (2500-1900 BCE) revered women, evident in goddess worship and figurines symbolizing female power. Empires such as the Gupta (320-550 CE) and Chola Dynasties (9th-13th centuries CE) empowered women in governance and administration; Prabhavati Gupta wielded authority as a regent, while Chola queens managed temple finances and large-scale projects. Similarly, during the Maratha Empire, Jijabai and warriors like Tarabai demonstrated leadership and autonomy. These rights were not limited to India-ancient Egyptian and Roman women owned property and managed wealth centuries earlier. Islam’s introduction of inheritance laws and financial rights in 7th-century Arabia did not surpass or predate the established traditions of powerful women leaders and financial independence seen in the Indian subcontinent and other ancient civilizations. Moreover, the Quran's inheritance laws, stipulated unequal shares for men and women, reflecting a patriarchal structure. This narrative oversimplifies history and ignores the diverse evolution of women’s rights across cultures.

As far as the religious text (holy Quaran) is concerned, yes. Islam wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for the kindness of Jews in a city called Madina. And inorder to become Muslim you need to initially say “there is no god” like that’s the very first thing you say. So the Quran makes it really clear, no compulsion in religion, you have to be kind to those you disagree with (especially Jews and Christians) and you have to at least tolerate those who disagree with you (to each their own faith.
I think that people conflate Islam with Muslims. You can disagree with the way some Muslims practice Islam, god knows I do, and some disagree with my opinions on Islam, that’s fine, but my disagreement with how someone practices their religion doesn’t mean I have a disagreement with the religion itself.

Why do they always cry about sharia but never go live in sharia countries…that’s the funniest laugh in such debates
Now The Arab bot farm terrified just waffling to himself deleting every reply so I post again for him - . HAJJ Is a Hindu PAGAN Practice, circumnavigation around a BOX, RUNNING BETWEEN THE HILLS OF SAFA AND MARWA, SHAVING YOUR HEAD BALD, THE CRESCENT MOON SYMBOL belonged to HUBAL the Moon God who was also another God worshipped at the Kaaba PRE-ISLAM what a coincidence. Today his Symbol is seen outside of Islamic places of Worship and Flags. The Muslim will tell you one of two things, either the crescent moon represents the Lunar Calendar or the OTTOMON Empire. Nowhere in the Quran it tells Muslims to keep this symbol but they do it anyway knowing very well the symbols history and connection to the Hubal. How are you gonna destroy the Idols in the Kaaba but keep the Crescent Symbol??? Everything Pagan. Even the 5 PRAYERS are PAGAN. Ancient Pagans faced Mecca and Prayed 5 TIMES A DAY. So MUHAMMAD WAS ALREADY DOING THAT. He made up some story about the Night Visit speaking to Moses, not a single witness he had. What a scam!! The other day I took a night visit to the Sun and it was very hot.
Even the direction to pray has Pagan origin. Muhammad changed it to Mecca all because the Jews were making fun of him. Sahih Bukari Bolume 3 Book 31 number 222 proves MUHAMMAD IS A COPY CAT. So he went back to his Pagan Roots because thats all he really knew.
There’s absolutely no evidence pre-Islam of Abraham building a Kaaba with Ishmael matter of Fact
      Narrated Abu Dhar:
I said, "O Allah's Apostle! Which mosque was first built on the surface of the earth?" He said, "Al-Masjid-ul-Haram (in Mecca)." I said, "Which was built next?" He replied "The mosque of Al-Aqsa (in Jerusalem)." I said, "What was the period of construction between the two?" He said, "Forty years." He added, "Wherever (you may be, and) the prayer time becomes due, perform the prayer there, for the best thing is to do so (i.e. to offer the prayers in time)."
Abraham existed around 2000 BC and we know Solomon built the first Temple So would Abraham and Ishmael build the Kaaba??? The truth is the Kaaba was destroyed and rebuild many times. During pre-Islamic times the KAABA was the hot spot for Pagan Worship. There 360 Idols stayed and were worshipped by different tribes. ALLAH was the Chief and CEO of all the PAGANS, and revered by Muhammads Tribe, makes perfect sense why ALLAH is important to him. His fathers name was Abdullah which means slave of Allah which means he was named that by his father, who would be Muhammads Grandfather. Allah was already known, All Muhammad did was destroyed the other Idols, however he kept their practices, their place of worship and now he claims monotheism because he tells everyone only Worship Allah.
The Whole Religion is Pagan The Muslim is so Obsessed with the fact that out of All the Pagan Gods they used to worship they finally got it down to One Pagan God and now this God is the God of Abraham??? RIGHTTTTT!! IF I take one of the Hindu Gods or Greek Gods decided to only Serve One of them, this does not make those Gods the same as Abraham’s God. Matter of fact the God of Abraham name was not Allah; but the Muslim God’s name is Allah. But this is a whole another issue for another day
Bot farms scrambling to delete truth ask yourself why?

Quran 9:5 "So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the polytheists wherever you find them, and take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush, then if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, leave their way free to them; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful."
Quran 9:29 "Fight those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day, nor comply with what Allah and His Messenger have forbidden, nor embrace the religion of truth from among those who were given the Scripture, until they pay the tax, willingly submitting, fully humbled."
Does this sound like democracy, equality and justice for all, or does it sound like the politics of division and war?

Even Chat-Gpt don't buy your cheap tactic.
This is what chat gpt and most of interpretations says .
"Surah At-Tawbah (9:5) is a frequently cited verse in discussions about Islam and its views on warfare. To fully understand its meaning, it's crucial to consider its historical context, the broader message of the Quran, and Islamic jurisprudence.
      The Verse:
The verse in question states (translation varies slightly):
      > "And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them, and capture them and besiege them, and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, then let them go their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful."
      Context and Explanation:
      1. Historical Background:
This verse was revealed in the context of a treaty violation. Certain polytheist tribes in Arabia had repeatedly violated agreements with the Muslim community, engaging in hostilities and betrayal. This verse was addressing those specific groups and their aggression, not all non-Muslims or polytheists universally.
      2. Limited Scope:
The "polytheists" mentioned were those tribes who had declared war against the Muslim state. This directive was not a blanket command to harm any and all polytheists but a response to a particular historical situation.
      3. Sacred Months:
The Quran speaks of "sacred months," a time during which fighting was traditionally prohibited. After this period, if the hostile tribes continued their aggression, Muslims were instructed to defend themselves.
      4. Conditions for Peace:
The same chapter clarifies that if these tribes ceased hostilities and sought peace, they were to be left unharmed. For instance, Quran 9:6 states:
      > "And if any one of the polytheists seeks your protection, then grant him protection so that he may hear the words of Allah. Then deliver him to his place of safety."
      Key Principles in Islamic Warfare:
Self-defense: Warfare in Islam is permitted only in self-defense or against oppression. (Quran 22:39)
Protection of Non-Combatants: Islamic teachings emphasize the protection of women, children, and non-combatants in war.
Invitation to Peace: If the enemy inclines toward peace, Muslims are instructed to accept it. (Quran 8:61)
      Misuse of the Verse:
Without context, this verse can be misunderstood or misrepresented. Islamic scholars emphasize reading the Quran as a whole and understanding the reasons behind specific verses. The Quran consistently promotes justice, mercy, and peace as overarching principles.
If you have further questions or would like more details about any aspect, feel free to ask!"

..one verse in Quran in around 612 AD when the democracy was unknown to whole world declared that o you ppl, decide matter of your public affairs by mutual consultation. 42:38 "amruhum shura baynahum". Magna Carta will come in 12century. we are talking 600 years before that when Kings used to be God like figure. Quran is clearly saying to decide your public affairs with mutual consultation. The next verse then clears that is for authorities of the community. the same principle was followed by prophet Muhammad throughout his life, every major decision for the community he used to have the consultation and will see where majority is inclined to. So much so that the first 3 Khalifa (Abu Bakr, Omar, Uthman) all were democratically elected Khalifa (as per the possible voting procedure of those times) and anyone could question them about their conduct, that's why they were called Khalifa Rashidun. In later years Muslim could not develop a parliament type shoora and election procedure and the kingdom came back in Muslim empires, but the judiciary was separated in early years itself. You should dig deeper in Quran's clear stand on democracy and the election of first 3 Khalifa in Muslim history.

too much focused on the historicity and diachronic aspect of islam politics
quran guidelines briefly mentioned, but not developed enough
would be better if islamic golden age political philosophers like al-ghazali's view be elaborated
instead of resorting to actual successful islamic democractic polities, harraj resorted to apologetics as to why islam societies are often associated with islamism and dictatorship.
also too much focused on certain individuals instead of the general sociability in islamic societies/polities
overall borderline acceptable, but no sound arguements are made here

You need more education and open minded in this topic, we stand against immoral behaviour so as a Muslim community we cooperate with non-Muslim to get rid of such behaviour but i urge more education and wisdom in this topic. We should question more in this topic, prophet selected his family as leaders or caliphs if there are no other leader to take that position but if its worthy individual on this position then they cooperate with such individual in community. As i said this is a very big topic it involves many religious aspect of life in short we do not give authority to those who ask or are keen to have it. Its to those who have leadership qualities
