This was an incredibly tough conversation, but I am beyond proud of this man. He is checked into rehab now and is getting the help he needs. When he gets out, we are going to be in constant communication to help him along the way and make sure he's safe, healthy, and happy. He wanted EVERYTHING out there and pushed back on us for wanting to cut things down that may have hurt him out in the real world. We could not honor that request though. We wanted to protect his safety and life, so if some parts seem choppy- that's why. We wanted to make sure we cut anything that would make life for him hard when he gets back. Protecting our guests is our number one priority. I respect TF out of him for wanting to put everything out there though. He has taken major steps in life just these past few days to turn his life around. Let's all give him the love and support he deserves!
Some people want it to happen, some people wish it would happen, others make it happen. Travis- you are a smart dude, you can make this happen. I pray you get that help you need to become happy without a substance. It’s not worth living in chains. ❤ wish you the best ❤
I find it amazing that we're seeing all types of situations in life and I am so proud of him for getting the help he needs. It's incredibly difficult making steps to better yourself and you can tell he really cares for his gf/and his cats because he wants to make the necessary changes. I hope he realizes that making changes for himself matters too! I hope he finds amazing things within himself he loves and finds hobbies/things of enjoyment that is not addiction. I know a lot of friends and family members that have lost their lives to addiction it's incredibly sad. Keep going dude!!! We are proud of you and rooting for your success. ❤️🙏🏼
So many of us relate! Sometimes being up front and totally transparent feels like it’s helping simply because we aren’t hiding from it ❤ sending him lots of love and support!!!
Not surprising at all, the whole finance district is literally hopped up in methamphetamines. Idk why people still believe drug addicts are unintelligent 😂
I know it's been six months and this will get lost in the comments but I was a massive heroin addict in my teens and early 20s, now I've been off it for over a decade. I totally believe in this guy and mad respect to him for taking this first step 👏
@CalebHammer That honey butter biscuit is pretty good! You can actually order the honey BBQ chicken sandwich, ask them to sub the honey BBQ for honey butter. Ez delicious sandwich acquired
@@Chessdude4Dude is talking about drug addiction. Do you not understand the context of the word "heavy" means negatively deeply emotional in this situation?
This just highlights the level of comfort and trust that Caleb has with his viewers. "I came for therapy, not an audit" speaks volumes. I hope he sticks with sobriety.
I know it's a financial audit. The guest came because he wanted life counseling instead. Caleb has a stern fatherly demeanor that folks gravitate to for not only financial advice
Caleb, you sweet summer child. If the girl he’s dating is 24 and has a curfew, she’s living in a halfway house, which is one step away from jail and/or rehab (often both).
@@Thefluffytutubecause some of us didn’t catch that and I’m glad he commented this because I found it suspicious at first and had a different idea. But thanks anyways Karen
Does anyone else now go through their checking account transactions and yell them out like Caleb? “Starbucks, Amazon, Sephora, Starbucks, McDonald’s, bullshit, bullshit, bullshit!” and it helps them realize how ridiculous their spending is? Very useful. I highly recommend. Edited to add: Made this comment before they got to the addiction part and dang, that was heavy. I appreciate how Caleb handled it and I’m rooting for this guy!
Ive been doing that since last year my most common purchase s are joe snyder mens thongs tropical thongs meundies and sex shops. Totaling 2k or more a year in purchases.
@@nicktrageser5662Congratulations? I don’t live beyond my means either. The only debt I have is the mortgage on my house. But I could be spending a bit less and saving more. Always improving.
I've been hearing Caleb yell at me every time I review my statements. It's certainly helped me rein in my spending. I've always lived within my means, but it's helping me turn some temporary indulgences into more savings.
I only keep watching so that I remember to yell at myself when the statement comes. I don't carry debt, but I still see too many stupid purchases. It's kinda fun
As someone with a whole lot of addiction in my family including myself, I have a bunch of respect for the both of you in how this conversation played out. He’s taking 100% accountability and the fact Caleb expressively told him he has full control of what gets aired, is exactly how that should go. Well done.
@@darylannmanson3240 you’re correct but that’s transparency which leads to getting better. He’s on here because he knows what he’s doing isn’t working. He’s explaining his thought process and what lead him to that point. He’ll be okay if he can continue to process things in that way combined with getting professional help.
Both these men have such incredibly kind souls. I was fine throughout the entire episode, but Travis ending with “tell your friends you’re proud of them” legit made me tear up in the middle of the gym. I hope everyone genuinely listens to that beautiful gem of raw, emotional insight.
@@alissacrizler4908 Just some advice. When you give a brain dead reply like this, where you just go “JESUS JESUS JESUS!” After someone opens up about something, it makes them think you sound stupid. And they lose any respect they once had for your religion. As a Christian, literally just shut up girl you sound goofy.

Thank you for protecting the quest with the choppy edits. I worry about your guests revealing too much. Just because a person is bad at personal finances does not mean they are not excellent at work or in relationships. Staying ethical with these vulnerable folks is a source of pride and will only bring you good.
I think he may have wanted to reveal it all so that way he had more social pressure to get clean. I'm glad that Caleb pushed back on it just to protect his job but I also respect the hell out of this guy for doing the most he can to get out of his addiction.
Been on a daily binge of audits as my background noise while I work. This episode got my FULL attention and made me pretty emotional. I’m praying for him to heal and overcome his addiction. He seems like such a genuinely sweet, smart and funny person and deserves all the best in life. I’m rooting for you!
Caleb’s show just entered into a different realm. Wow. It’s apparent this dude is intelligent and will be successful if he can get this drug addiction behind him. He knows what he needs to do, has the tools and the support and I wish him the absolute best of luck. I hope he knows how many of us are pulling for him to completely recover and have a great life.
100% agree. The only part that kind of worries me is when he said he wants to get on a schedule of use where he's maybe only getting high on the weekends. With the weed that's one thing but if the other one is what I assume it is then he needs to cut that one out 100%. Coming from a family with a lot of addiction issues if he can get away from that one he needs to steer clear of anybody who even thinks about touching the stuff. It is so god-damn easy to get back into it. One bad night, one fun party, all you need is to have that available and it's game over. Not to mention the first time going back after getting sober it's we're the vast majority of overdoses come from because your body has lost the tolerance for it that it had built up over that daily use cycle. I wish this young man the best of luck.
@@star-1814 they're talking about two separate drugs throughout the course of the episode. One is weed and the other one sounds a lot more like he's probably talking about heroin...
@luxuriousgreen9714 the dude in the video stated that he was using two separate drugs. One being something that Caleb tried in college and wasn't a big fan of most likely we'd the other something that Caleb is extremely worried about him using.
I remember that mentality… it’s exactly why they say you need a relapse to truly recover. The addict in you still pushes you into jumping through hoops mentally to avoid fully letting go.
This episode hit me hard. I just hit 6 years clean (I was an IV her0in user). I’m rebuilding my life and learning how to “adult” and manage money. I hope he takes recovery seriously. ❤ Thank you Caleb for being such a caring and empathetic human.
I don't think I have EVER watched an episode that I so desperately hope we get updates on. I would LOVE to see Travis multiple times a year for as long as Caleb is going on TH-cam. Hopefully it is a story of triumph and getting himself to an amazing place that others can take points from and follow in the footsteps of. Props to Travis, you got this man!
I come from a similar situation. Totaled my car, ended up in a wheelchair with nothing to my name, 0 assets and over 300k in medical debt for spending 3 weeks or so in the hospital. 5yrs later I have my own company, living on my own, walking again AND I got sober. It was one of the hardest things I've ever done..
This episode really hits hard. It's easy to lie to yourself, and to everyone else, until you see someone brave enough to put it all out there for everyone to see. Thank you for the inspiration.
I won't be able to watch this episode due to losing a loved one to addiction. It hurts too much to see. Thank you, Caleb for being respectful to this guest. I wish the best for Travis and his future.
This is by far my favorite guest Caleb has had. I am so beyond proud of this guy. Even the graduating college with a BIOLOGY degree. He has show through this audit that he is intelligent, calm, and easy-going. I see such a bright future for him as he gets the help he needs. It was also so refreshing to not hear Caleb yelling at all for an entire episode. He was so so so empathetic and sweet, kudos to you!
Oh boy... anyone with experience with addiction can tell you this man is at a crossroads. Early in his addiction. Him saying he wants to be on a schedule with drugs is a huge red flag. Any addict will tell you this is how it starts... you try and try to control it and it NEVER EVER WORKS OUT. Thankfully he does acknowledge that he cannot control it, step one. He's looking at 2 paths right now, one to recovery and a happy fullfulling life. The other path ALWAYS will end with jails, institutions, or death. I am praying he chooses the right path and gets out of the spiral before he completely loses everything.
I’ve been there. Done everything this guy has done. Homie looks high right now, has a girlfriend in sober living, and he is using every day. Going to get worse before it gets better….
They should have dropped every single bit if the finances conversation, and just said "OK, how can we get you to detox, on a plane, and to rehab ASAP?" Fuck your finances at that point.
Been there, went to treatment, OD’d days after leaving. I wish I could say I see him staying clean, but the minimizing and rationalizing is something I see having to be worked out through rough experiences. honestly I haven’t seen many people who stayed clean after there first attempt at recovery. It took me multiple times on probations, countless attempts at recovery, and son being born to finally snap out of it. I am wishing him all the best though, hope he can beat the odds.
I never comment on youtube videos, but it's impressive how you interact with people without having had any training to provide counseling or therapy. A lot of actual trained therapists could learn from this, honestly - you're a natural at the conversational skills that balance understanding and bonding with the push that people often need to start getting better. Maybe it stems partly from your own experiences with mental health, but know that you help so many people far beyond just their finances. I genuinely wish Travis the best. I and many others are rooting for him to get clean and live a long and fulfilling life. I have immense respect for his wish to be completely open and honest about everything and the steps he's taking to improve his life. Good luck dude!
A crossover I’d pay to see is he auditing people from reality tv shows. Seeing 90 day fiancé Angela flipping his table would be entertainment for a lifetime
Those types of 'celebrities' would never want to give up the illusion they are successful. It's why most people even pay attention to them. For what reason I can't comprehend? Some people have nothing positive to look forward to and thrive on drama and conflict.

Functioning addiction is super scary. You appear to be doing well on the outside but you're falling apart on the inside. I hope Travis gets exactly what he needs at the facility in Cali and I hope he can beat his addictions. It must take a lot of courage to come on this show and be so open and willing to accept help/advice. Props to Caleb for offering to help him after the show. You can tell he genuinely cares about Travis and his recovery. Thanks for making these videos Caleb, they help so many people - not just the ones on the show, but also all of us watching!
Amen. It becomes bearable enough to keep up most days (usually for some years like my earlier self) cuz you’re not ODing, you’re working steady, you have a decent apartment or house, you might even have a gf who is (semi) ignorant to your personal reality but it wears you so much. You feel so disconnected from every other normal person. Some part of your immediate family almost certainly is aware though. I felt like I was living a double or triple life at points for 80% of it. It’s very lonely and hopeless feeling. I spent 12 or so years on opioids as well. Blessed to have worked my way off them almost 19 months ago now.
I disagree that it's better than nonfunctioning addiction. Nonfunctioning addiction forces you to deal with it or spiral into homelessness. Functioning addiction can last decades, eroding your relationships, leaving you a basic shell of a human that might look successful on the outside but on the inside it's a living hell.
Caleb’s balance between having a solid stance on certain scenarios, and forgiving/understanding on others, down to a perfection imo. Almost makes me want to improve my own life lol, but I’ll just enjoy that vicariously for now
It's a beautiful combination of selfless empathy and rational thinking. It's surprisingly rare to find people who are able to juggle both to such a high standard, our boy is something special alright.
I am a CPA in Texas and truly enjoy your content. This was by far the most touching episode. Your kindness and compassion was unwavering. Well done Caleb. You could have spun this and thumb nailed this so much worse. You stayed respectful and genuine. well done.

Greetings Caleb and company, I’ve been watching your channel for some time, episodes new and old, and your show has been immensely helpful when it comes to facing my own situation. Today’s episode landed a lot closer to home than I expected; practically a bullseye considering I live in the Midwest. I wanted to tell you I greatly appreciate your words regardless of who you were directly speaking to. The fact that you saw his plea for encouragement and support was something I needed to see is possible in a way. I have been struggling with substance abuse since a very young age and I connected with your guest being able to see that it is possible to regain control of your life and self discipline, as well as knowing that people are willing and able to see someone who is stuck and feels invisible at times. Please know that you and your team are doing something good and correct in all that you are doing. I ask that you continue your work and continue doing good in the world, the ripples from a pebble thrown in a lake can travel much farther than you think. Your actions and reputation have traveled far and I appreciate you immensely Yours truly, A lifelong subscriber

30+ years daily and I quit for my kids. Noticed a huge mood improvement, saved tons of money, less tired all the time, less anxious all the time. I don't even miss it. It's tough to start, the nightmares are terrible but once you're a few months in you'll be much happier.
30+ years daily g? How much a day? A single joint? I have no issues in life myself, im ripping easy a qp a month, in bong tokes lmao. My vehicle is paid off, i pay 950/lb, making a qp cost me 237.50.. 237.50 is far less then many peoples car payments 🤣 Can spend more on coffee if you buy 2-3 times a day, even cheap coffee lmao I stated the car payment as a difference as, the money could have been spent elsewhere, but isn't. Sure if it effects your life and stops you from getting what you need/want, of course you have a problem. But smoking a joint at night to go to bed? What kinda problems could you even have 🤣 You wouldn't even have the mental addiction as you can go multiple hours without using the substance 🤣 Thats called having an outlet. I’ve been on a Caleb binge lately and I stumbled across Travis’s follow up so I had to come back to the original. This really hits home for me and I really hope the best for this guy. I was in a similar situation back in 2019. I was able to get help, got accepted into nursing school, bought a house with my husband and now my husband and I are paying off all our debt….aggressively. But it all started with me getting sober. I really wish you the best my dude. ❤❤❤
Man I really hope he recovers and turns his life around. Broke my heart when he said "Tell your friends you're proud of them." He deserves to live an amazing life and I hope he takes the opportunity to do so.

This audit was a hard one but thank you Caleb for following through and allowing him to be clear and have an open discussion. I hope he’s doing okay and we get an amazing follow up.
I wonder what the odds are of someone coming on the show that works at Panda Express making 90k a year with a fully funded emergency fund sitting in a high yield savings account following the 50/30/20 rule that is maxing out their Roth IRA. I think Caleb would just died and go to heaven at that point.
As a person who has struggled with addiction I really appreciate this video. Ur a good dude Caleb need more people like you. This guys a trooper as well wishing him the best!
I started watching this channel bc my dude and I got sober together after addiction thoroughly wrecked our lives in every aspect including financial. 3 yrs clean and rebuilt everything from scratch, realized that we suck at finances as we never put the time in to learn/practice good habits. We just paid off my engagement ring (not an expensive one--we just financed it bc we got engaged like 3 months sober and broke af). This channel is how I learned what a realistic budget is and strategy for paying off debt. So I relate to this guy and I hope he gets it together. He sounds like he's in a good head space and I wish him and his lady the best.
congrats! you truly are building your life together. 3 years is a HUGE accomplishment. thank you for sharing. I was so sad to see Travis leave into the cruel cruel world but it's nice to read that people do get out. Wishing you the best!
He dropped his girlfriend off at her sober living house and immediately crashed his car because he was high. If he doesn't get sober NOW she needs to leave him.
I actually went to high school with Travis and I wouldn’t say we were friends more acquaintances. And we worked together at Little Caesars where he was the assistant manager. I will say he always was a leader and grinding for high school jobs, but some of our mutual friends got him doing all these drugs. Sounds like his making better money than our other friends who are job hopping. But he’s smart, graduated and works hard just unfortunate how much drugs can drain you.

Caleb is such a kind soul. I love when he yells at people that are thick and need to be yelled at. This guest was obviously intelligent but in a tough spot in life and just needed some kindness. Loved this ep and wish him all the luck with his future and mental health ❤
I love this show and to see Caleb truly care about people is amazing. This audit primary focus isn’t on finance but I like to see the empathy from Caleb. I also like that he’s supporting him get clean in helping pay off the 401k loan. Way to go!
Almost 4 years sober I can't believe how much recovery has become such an intricate part of my life. I immediately knew every reference and code he was talking about but Caleb was so confused. Like I knew without him saying that his girlfriend is in sober living. Im so proud of him for making this first step. Good luck to you my brother we do recover.
My heart goes out to this kid. I had tears in my eyes while watching. He’s made bad decisions but at the core you can tell he wants to be better. You handled the conversation very well Caleb. He’s one step closer. Hoping all the best for his journey to and through recovery.
I have several friends who are sober addicts, and I can not begin to tell you how much strength it takes to win that battle. No one can do it alone, but this guy has a damned good start already. Hes taking responsibility, hes taking action, he's a man to take a bet on. I really want to see him back in 6 months, sober and in control.
Addiction is a horrible disease. As someone who has a family member who battles with addiction, it's horrible to see what it does to people. With a disease like this, you really can't just do it every once in a while. It's a chemical dependency that your brain has rewired to need. I'm glad he is choosing to go to a rehab facility and starting the process of sobriety. I really wish him the best on his recovery and a bright future ahead.
When I heard Travis’ final thoughts, “Tell your friends you’re proud of them.” I just lost it emotionally 😭 This intelligent young man has such incredible potential and he just wants to be seen and acknowledged and recognized in life. I wish him all the best and I look forward to seeing him come out on the other side stronger than ever.
the absolute compassion that Caleb had in this episode is amazing. I always see it with everyone he works with, but his approach to everything in this video was amazing!

Caleb, would love for you to keep delving into more complicated situations like these. Last episode you were asked about how youre going to keep your videos "fresh" without falling into a formula and i think if youre up to it focusing on guests with more complicated struggles is this. Personal spending and finances do not live in a vacuum, theres so much grey area with mental health, addiction, eating disorders, self harm, financial abuse, insecurity, unhealthy relationships, etc that i think can be totally ignored by most of the personal finance community. Theres always a deeper root of the issue when it comes to unhealthy spending and purchasing habits. I think if you focused on helping people recognize (not treating) where the root of their unhealthy finances came from you can help even more people who watch your videos and can relate to your guests
"Am I just a sheltered little boy", yes Caleb, you are, and so am I! bassoonist here and I value my lungs and air too! I wish this chap the best...people can turn it around!
No. I don't see how not doing drugs or being well-versed in the drug life makes someone sheltered. I would say that most people are not doing drugs, or maybe doing only light stuff. But...not being up on the hard-drug lifestyle I think is the normal default position. Not sheltered.
Let’s hope that Travis can look back on this conversation and it’s a turning point to the rest of his life, I’m wishing him a future full of health, wellbeing and financial security.
Wishing Travis all the success. Seems like a great dude. I’m 10 years sober and live a great life now. Sober living is lifesaver for those new in recovery.

Him and I are the same age, clearly he’s going through a lot and has been through a lot. I truly wish him the best. I’ve also had people close to me suffer through addiction and receive help but it’s quite a process. I understand he wants to be honest and put it all out there but I also understand not thinking clearly after major trauma (I.e. the car crash). I don’t know if this was really the best episode to post publicly, even if he did give the okay and consented to be on the show. I do appreciate you showing your audience so many different situations and people from all walks of life.

"Who you hang around with is who you become." Wise words 🔥
Oh boy... anyone with experience with addiction can tell you this man is at a crossroads.
Your terminology of jails, institutions and death is telling, sounds like 12 steps talk :-)

Ain’t that the truth!

Caleb was so nice to me. A pleasure to be apart of the show. 31 days and counting. Sober

I love this show and to see Caleb truly care about people is amazing. This audit primary focus isn’t on finance but I like to see the empathy from Caleb. I also like that he’s supporting him get clean in helping pay off the 401k loan. Way to go!
I wish I could give your comment 50 likes 👍
Almost 4 years sober I can't believe how much recovery has become such an intricate part of my life. I immediately knew every reference and code he was talking about but Caleb was so confused. Like I knew without him saying that his girlfriend is in sober living. Im so proud of him for making this first step. Good luck to you my brother we do recover.
Yeah. When he said she had a curfew and had to be inside at a certain time, I figured that, too.
😅😅 you know your stuff huh 😅
@@travisreed6978 the drug world fascinates me lol. I watch and read alot of stuff pertaining to it. Its a wild world
Caleb was a stand out dude this episode. No judgements and only trying to help. Love it
Thank you for your honesty, Travis and thank you for your humility, Caleb. Best wishes, Travis! You can do great things and you can do hard things!
Hell Yeah 31 days sober rn and counting. That’s already 1/6th the way! A day clean is a day won
Ya he just fell on a needle. Whoops.
@@James-qi6ziyou must have a room temperature IQ with that reading comprehension
A needle? Who said anything about a needle
When I heard Travis’ final thoughts, “Tell your friends you’re proud of them.” I just lost it emotionally 😭
This intelligent young man has such incredible potential and he just wants to be seen and acknowledged and recognized in life. I wish him all the best and I look forward to seeing him come out on the other side stronger than ever.
Thanks! I’m trying. Just got my phone back from rehab. I’m 31 days sober now. Still got 11 more days to go. I decided to stay longer
@@travisreed6978Travis, that’s amazing!! I am so proud of you. It will all be worth it in the end!
@@travisreed6978That’s awesome! Cheering you on, Travis! You got this!
Stick with it Travis. I’m rooting for you.
This was incredibly brave of him to put his story out there. I’m so proud of him for taking the steps to get help.
Thanks. It didn’t feel like I was being brave. I look a wreck tho tbh. I’ll look better in the 6 month follow up. Promise
Right on my man
the absolute compassion that Caleb had in this episode is amazing. I always see it with everyone he works with, but his approach to everything in this video was amazing!
This young man is so smart for doing this now. I’m glad he gets to talk to you, Caleb. You are helping so many young people in so many ways! I wish I had avenues like this to help me in my young adult years. Hang in there and know that there are a lot of people pulling for you. You can do this!!!!
He is so mellow and sweet omg I love him. And Caleb is being so cool to him>!< ❤
Caleb, would love for you to keep delving into more complicated situations like these.
Caleb's not a professional rehab or drug counselor. This guest has issues Caleb can't address beyond giving encouragement.
I gotta command Caleb for his generosity, it shows that he is taking his growth very seriously. Love your channel really proud of you sir.
The fact that he made the call to get into a recovery program for himself. Bravo. All the best!
Wouldn’t have done it if people in my life I care about didn’t persuade me to do so
It was actually so he could see his girlfriend. Still, any reason is a good reason.
@@travisreed6978I hope you’re doing well & I hope your support system is strong. You’re worth it!
He more or less was given an ultimatum from his girlfriend
Great job Caleb and Travis! Stay with it. I am rooting and praying for you to be successful.
❤️❤️❤️
"Am I just a sheltered little boy", yes Caleb, you are, and so am I! bassoonist here and I value my lungs and air too! I wish this chap the best...people can turn it around!
No. I don't see how not doing drugs or being well-versed in the drug life makes someone sheltered. I would say that most people are not doing drugs, or maybe doing only light stuff. But...not being up on the hard-drug lifestyle I think is the normal default position. Not sheltered.
Hey fellow bassoonist!
Bassoon!!🎉
Let’s hope that Travis can look back on this conversation and it’s a turning point to the rest of his life, I’m wishing him a future full of health, wellbeing and financial security.
Amen!
I love Caleb! He’s exactly what tough love looks like, he gives it straight at the same time he has 100% empathy
Wishing Travis all the success. Seems like a great dude. I’m 10 years sober and live a great life now. Sober living is lifesaver for those new in recovery.
I cannot wait to see a follow-up in 6months!!! Youve got this!! We are so incredibly proud of you for taking the hard steps and wanting to put in the work. I cant wait to see how proud you are of YOURSELF in 6months at how far youve come and the work you did because youre worth it.❤
Ah shucks. I’m blushing
I think it goes to show that most everyone you meet is dealing with something, even if they don’t openly and outwardly express it.
Travis, you got this! We are all rooting for you! Caleb, you are the best. You have a heart of gold, thanks for helping this man and letting him know he is worth it! I look forward to his check in with you in the future! 💚👏🙌
You did a great job Caleb. And, I would recommend doing something like Mental Health First Aid to be equipped with skills for handling situations like this, and being able to decompress afterwards bc convos like this are intense, esp when you’re not a mental health professional by trade. Really enjoyed this episode.
This one hit hard… please provide us updates on Travis. Really rooting for him. The fact that he’s leaving a living situation that’s bad, dating someone in sober living, heading to rehab, and really trying is so inspiring.
Here’s the first update. 31 days sober and counting. I decided to stay in rehab for an additional 12 days. And will be going into an IOP program immediately after amd I’ll do that for as long as they will have me!
@@travisreed6978Good to see an update from you. Hope everything is still going well two months out from your post. Looking forward to seeing you back on this show at the six month sober mark.
@@travisreed6978 good on ya bud. Hope things are still going well for you. We're pulling for ya man!
@travisreed6978 I just watched your episode yesterday. Sending you all the positive love, energy and support. I hope you are doing well and can update us again when you're ready.
Also, please be kind and patient with your journey. Often relapse is part of the recovery journey and it's nothing to be ashamed of.

WOW, was not expecting that. Good job, Caleb for handling the situation with kindness and empathy. Great job, Travis, for taking the necessary steps toward a better life.
Caleb, I appreciate your care for the people who come onto your show. You’re a true gem!!
You handled having this sprung on you very well, especially for someone not familiar with it. This situation can be very uncomfortable. I'm ten years off the stuff, and couldn't handle someone telling me they need help. You were respectful and gave great advice. Goodluck to this dood. Recovery sucks, but it totally worth it.
we need this episode more than we can even care to think. whether ur dealing with addiction, dealing with someone who is an addict, or just seeing this from the outside. EVERYONE is susceptible to addiction. from the regular joe serving tables, to the ceos running businesses. were all people, and we all need to treat this like a health issue, not a crime issue. don't write off your addicts, be there for them.
Travis, we are rooting for you! You’re a great guy and you deserve to have a whole, happy, healthy, sober life. Wishing you the best, dude.
Wild!! I knew he was an addict just by his voice. He’s got an opiate voice! This episode was soooooooo good because it was so relatable. I was in the EXACT situation a few years back and I related on so many levels. Wow! Great job on this one. I really hope he stays clean. IT WORKS IF YOU WORK IT!!!
While I think we can all agree that he's got a very expensive habit/"hobby", this episode isn't even the most stressful *financial* episode I've seen from this channel. His finances aren't great, but they're still miles ahead of some of the other folks that have been in the hot seat. I'm cheering this dude on - I hope he gets better.
We're all cheering you on, Travis!!!
You are an inspiration to us all!
So much respect for Caleb. So many youtubers would have have exploited a story like this for views. His respect for his guests and their privacy is top tier!
