there's no game with a soundtrack so magical as this game, I've never played lineage 2 too much as I wanted, but the soundtrack of this game is so incredible that makes me feel like I am literally breathing and living in this fantasy world full of magic! I work in games today and this game is one of the reasons for it, I want to create wonderful worlds and magic like this for the people!
Can't imagine a better way to capture the feeling. Lineage community is surprisingly big but we were all divided on multiple silly servers. I feel like a proper C1 remake would hit the world like a truck now that lots of WOW and other mmorpg players feel disoriented and in need of a really immersive experience. It is the music, it is the sound. It is the superior taste on how to deliver a story and it's experience that make Lineage 2 the best mmorpg that ever existed
All the mmorpgs ruined the games by making everything too easy. The new mmos are the same. If I can finish all of the leveing in under 1-2 weeks of a game being released Im going to be bored with it after a month.

За плечами разные фришки x10, x4, даже настоящий офф (Franz, Luna), некоторое время поиграл на ру-оффе и потом на всяких донатных pvp-серверах. В те времена была графика нормальная для тех технологий, сейчас нет. Украсили не сильно, конечно за такое время что-то нужно сделать, но движок старый, поэтому механику сильно не обновишь, локации современными не сделаешь, только немного украшательств, немного изменения в локацих, а главное донатные карты таро. Эх, прошли те времена... Самая лучшая по мне часть была C4, особенно для фана и PK.

i know the music it legit beats any game there is, the grind was fun the spells where planty and diffrent the classes each with its own special spells i remember playing dark elf because of the cool summons, but the community was amazing the guild wars the pet system everything in this game is and will be a masterpiece

i played from C1 , best fucking times in the official :D but after H5 they changed the dev team and everything after H5 is not Lineage 2 for me , sometimes i find some mid rate H5 server to play for 1-2 weeks :D fun times btw Dion and Hunters best theme songs
There are official servers with modern game version, and some unofficial (private) servers based on interlude, high five etc. Funniest part is that on official servers play less people than on some big privates. This community loves old chronicles.
Not much has changed. I was always angry at the fact, that they did new chronicles, but every single them still looks almost the same, nothing new really, just few adjustments. But still for me it's a lovely game. Great video and thanks for this ❤ Forever Lineage 2

Я даже сейчас лучше вернусь в с4 (те оригинальные, а не ремастер) чем пойду играть в современную л2 К сожалению, на текущий уровень ММОРПГ она не тянет от слова совсем, ни по графике ни по геймплею. Но и при этом умудрилась растерять весь свой шарм тех годов. Если бы я выбирал, я бы с лёгкостью предпочел с4-интерюд времён нулевых какому-нибудь относительно современному БДО

As a huge Lineage II fan I feel like L2 needs to go back to its roots... I'll even dare to say that I'm okay with paying a monthly subscription as long as the game dismisses its pessimistic aura of destroyed cities and micro transactions strategy...

Uh yeah I couldnt give a fuck about the facelift. The game was going downhill fast when I played it back then because of all the bots and NCSoft doing absolutely nothing to stop it. But the gameplay now is just utter trash compared to back then. NCSoft is the worst.

All chronicles had some amazing login screens, but that colorfull child dwarf is just awful, doesnt look like l2 at all The map in general got better I think, the effects and the performance. But the game itself totally died after h5. And before that it died when kamaels appeared Nothing will beat what it was during c1 to c4. Truly the peak experience of this game, and its a shame that so many could never see that age of l2
I think L2 peaked at C6 Interlude - and there's still a couple server alive running those chronicles, each with several hundred CCU and >1000 daily actives

So there was a graphic rework at some point. It's interesting trying to connect the dots to what the general experience was in 2005-2006. back when i played as a kid
and not finding simple way to control LOW level raids by simply making the area restricted to level of raids for players to be in area so they don't grief killed would made so much better, now their no raids except end use play. such a shame.
I’m only 21 watched my mom and dad play my whole life they split up and I kept playing and have so many memories it truly is a classic I don’t care what anyone says about new lineage yea it’s hard to play due to botting but sometimes it’s okay to not be the best and just have some fun , definitely gonna log in tomorrow thank god and the universe for this being on my fyp more memories to be made 😁😁

Old L2 made use of almost all the map, new L2 only has those as decoration. Most locations are empty, that's a poor design.
Not much has changed. I was always angry at the fact, that they did new chronicles, but every single them still looks almost the same, nothing new really, just few adjustments.
