I would love to cuddle Key. He does seem more concerned with the fireworks than the scary movie. No fireworks in our area of Ontario, Canada. In fact, they have the Festival of Lights in Niagara Falls this time of the year.
I used to live near Niagara Falls, and saw the festival many times!

What scary movie did you watch? Key didn’t seem too scared as long as you were right there… and of course sleeping through part of the scariness also helps. Such a cute fluffy boy!! Wow that’s amazing you could actually see them from your house
we know exactly how he feel we have a gsd who is very nervous and kids were out side throwing fireworks at 10.15pm so that started our night of our dog shaking and trying to hide in the most imposable places , it took us hours to calm him down

My little one got scared with all the fireworks on New Years. There were alot. When she gets scared she runs under the couch in my living room where we set up a little cave for her. She is a multi-poo, and a crazy little dog. She loves to head butt things.

There were a lot of explosions going on here, not just normal firecrackers, and my dog got really scared. The first time ever, but these "fireworks" were so heavy, that we could feel it, so I spend the whole time with him. He even was in my bed, next to me, which doesn't normally do. There were a lot of rise ups going on as well, where my friend lives, 500m from here, it was a war zone, between younger people and the police. This wasn't a happy old to new year for us. I hope they ban those kinds of fireworks. I was a long time in the military and get used to those kinds of explosions. But my baby doesn't.

Yep I used to be a performer and sing in part of a lot of Christian beautiful stuff at Christmas and New Year's and I gave all that up for my husky because of this very Point very frightening. To the point of people leaving them outside and them trying to break through glass hurting themselves to get hidden inside or lost and run awake cuz people left them out thank you for being the right kind of husky mom just like Jamie is with Sherpa, Keyes buddy! Would have been fun if you would have done NY eve together❤!

Awww. Dogs have such sensitive and 'high' hearing I guess. Ears perk right up! So adorable and a reminder of how ruffian and barbaric humans can seem to the ultra sensitive species....even I get 'triggered' by scary movies, loud noises, etc. So sweet, as always. I got braces as an adult and it's totally worth it, feels so much more comfortable when your teeth are straight
Ask your dentist about invisalign retainers when the braces are off, they are head & shoulders above normal retainers

We were fortunate. Our late dog, Harpo, was never phased by fireworks. He just went to sleep.
